Hi,I'm looking for the way to encode mov file in H264. I want the video data smaller size (like 1h long video in a few GB).The reason why I want to make mov file because some kind of Android phone cannot play mp4. I'm using Mac (OS Catalina 10.15.3) and Media Encoer 2021.I could find some information saying that there is no way to encode mov files in H264 since 2018(?) by Media Encoder. If there is any idea of encoding mov(H264) in new virsion (Media Encoder 2022) or using by other free software, please tell me the solution for me! Thanks for reading my question from JP.
I am trying to find out how to use a second computer to encode Premiere sequences, when I came across Watch Folders in a 2020 blog about how to do just this. Aha! But no, it says in my AME manual:Premiere Pro and After Effects project files are not recognized, as there is no mechanism to select an individual Premiere Pro sequence or After Effects composition from inside the project file. Is there any way for my system – CS6 under a 2013 iMac - to use Watch Folders so that a second computer can encode? i.e. could I subscribe to an updated AME on the second computer? What version of AME? Thanks
This is not OKAY media encoder not open after Updating.
I've been trying to create a very unique graphic, a 498X4 pixel 10 second animated mp4 video. So in After Effects I created the composition with a 498X4 resolution and was happy with the end result. I click file, export to media encoder, and choose the export location using h264. For some reason, the file exports as 16X16 pixels, and I'm confused as to why. I repeat the above except I look at the export settings; the file is supposedly going to export as 498X16 pixels! I'm like, fine, I can work with this, and export again. The file is again exported as 16X16 pixels. What? I try changing some of the numbers in height and width and am then unable to change the resolution back to 16X498 inside media encoder; See, normally at this point I'd be OK because I could just choose to export as a PNG image sequence but I *have* to upload the mp4 file somewhere. There were 'other solutions' like exporting as 1992X16 pixels or exporting in render que of after effects as a .mov or .avi file, but nei
ADOBE, SINCERELY
Hello Community, I am struggling to solve an issue related to the Media Encoder for several days now. The Internet seems to have no answers related to the versions I am using. I have created and edited a compostion in After Effects and tried to export it via Media Encoder. If I now try to change the output format to 1080p Youtube for example, the program starts loading infinitely and crashing after a while. If I just try to start the render process it is the same. My versions:After Effects V 18.0Media Encoder V 15.0 What I have done so far:- Cleared Disk Media Cache- Reinstalled both AE and AME- Changed back to an older version in AME- Changed the Cache Folders etc. in both AE and AME It just looks like nothing seems to help at all. A few weeks ago, I didn't have any trouble at all. Maybe someone of you knows how to solve this.
I am trying to identify a modern/current server class GPU I can place into a virtualised infrastructure like the A10 for example, but am struggling. https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/data-center/products/a10-gpu/ This is the latest hardware specification for AME https://helpx.adobe.com/media-encoder/system-requirements.html but there are only workstation class GPUs listed. We are specifying an High Availabillity Adobe Media Encoder system, running in multi-region VMWARE infrastructure using GPU Passthrough to the VMs running AME for central confirm. Our server supplier is not 100% comfortable putting a workstation class piece of hardware under this AME machine in a datacentre, and wonder if there is somewhere else I should be looking? It was suggested by another team at Adobe, that I ask this question here.
It worked for me: uninstalling media encoder, installing the previous version 15, and then, as it does not work from AE, you have to drag the .aep file into the media encoder window to get it. This is the only way without doing too many tricks.Anyway it seems to me that Adobe has to fix this now!
Não consigo utilizar o encoder, pois diz que não está instalado, porém não consigo desinstalar e intalar de novo pois ele acusa que está em uso
fix the media encoder. you make our life so miserable forpuksakewe are not happy with the update, you're just messing it.
It was working last Sunday and then as of last night Media Encoder does not work. Noticed it after Photoshop would not render video. Premiere Pro Queue does not work. Tried just starting Media Encoder on it's own, still doesn't work.Uninstalled program and reloaded it...no luck. Used adobe tool cleaner...re instsalled...still doesn't work. Keep sending crash report...no work around...any one else have this problem? I need to get a video file working out of photoshop.
It took me probably 3 hours to finish a 15s video before the updates, now it takes 15 hours after the new updates!
Hello,I am trying to turn a sequence of images from maya into a simple video but am encountering a problem where the render is much faster than the preview in Maya. I'm new to AME, so I do not know what to look for to resolve something like this, and I cannot find anything helpful on google. It may be useful to note that I also encountered this same issue when trying in Premiere Pro.So, what's happening is that I am trying to create a 24 FPS video using exactly 204 images. If you do the math, that should be around 8 and a half seconds long. However, everytime I render the video via image sequence, it ends up as a 6 second video. Much faster than normal, and you can clearly see that it is much faster, though the video clearly says 24 Frames Per Second when highlighted in Windows Explorer. Why is this happening and how does one resolve it?
When I transcode 120fps .mp4 files using Apple ProRes 422 HQ it will change the clips to 60fps. It should just be using the same frame rate as the source footage. Other clips that I transcode that were shot at 24, 30, 60 all have a matching output framerate, it's only the 120fps shots that are being changed. I don't have this issue when I use Media Encoder 2019. Any ideas what is happening??
Anyone know the fix to the new Media Encoder not seeing External Dockable ExFAT formatted Drives? I'm seeing all other drives in the local drives section on interface. I see the ExFAT to the right but will not open or populate to left in "Local Drives" section when I click on it. And I just used this ExFAT drive with previous version of Encoder and was working fine.
Why is it always a bug or problem that has to be a part of every single project. Default directory doesn't stick. I'd just like my desktop as the default and now despite the setting it just puts it next to the project. Gotten my first BSOD with this machine, well three or four now, that are video card releated. To save fanboys the trouble, everything is up to date and NO other software causes me any issues.5950x, 3080ti, m.2 Gen 4 4tb media drives W10 all software fully updated. Also just noticed on a premiere project it only lets me have one font after a crash. Love the new features but it always comes at a cost. Don't expect a fix and no I won't be reinstalling all my stuff, I have to work.
Hello, I recently updated my adobe software (AE, LR, PS & ME) now when ever I try to render a video from AE I get random green screens throughout my video... Also looks like it wasnt color graded. Any help??

Hi Team Adobe,This is been the issue since almost an year. Have been patiently waiting for each update hoping that will solve the issue. But nothing has changed and this has afftected our teams work, and with lockdowns and work from home scenerious its been very difficult. Can there a be solution soon for this, please?Have gone through the forum multiple time to get solutions, but nothing has helped so far.
In the previous versions of After Effects and Media Encoder it was working just fine but now its not giving me the option to export with RGB+Alpha, has anyone ran across that problem yet? I need it to be WebM files for streaming purposes. Please help me out thank you!
Since updating to the new AME (v22 build 107) Im getting a weird thing where Ive got some square quicktime videos (1080x1080), I run them through AME to encode as match source, high bitrate. Hardware encode on (I'm on a Mac Mini M1). The 'video is VR' checkbox is definitely not checked, but people using VLC are seeing these finished H264s as VR. And when I upload to vimeo, same thing. Weird.
I have a paid plan for creative cloud, yet when I try to queue up and export my media from Adobe Media Encoder, I get the following error (see image). This is a recent development. I've been able to export videos via this method for months now. I haven't changed any system files. Thanks for any help you can offer. -Kelsey
Hi, I don't know why bus some times, when I launch AME it takes more than 5 min to start (even 10min and more), because it is loading slowly and one by one all the available plugins. Is this behaviour normal? there is any way to avoid loading plugins?I am using AME last version running on a iMac 5k with 24GB RAM, and Mac OS 10.12.3Thanks in advance.Juan
