I have made a bootstrap layout with adobe xd (screenshot-left) where the measurements came out in a pixel perfect manner. Please see the sizing breakdown. But working with this was difficult while designing, as a result I decided to make the layout for this. But couldn't get the specific as seen in the image. I am getting increasingly frustrated.  I have sorted out the library issue on windows 10 using some power shell command, great.  However, now I have some other problems I am hoping you can help with. I have a XD document, created lots of components and published as a library. Issue 1I now want to share that library with lots of people in an organisation to view and USE the components in an XD document. I notice when I shared via email the user then had access to the components in his document. He had the 'edit main in source document' which was worrying as I dont' want him updating those components in the source, but it didn't do anything when he clicked it. Id expect this to be disabled somehow UI visuallay.  My main issue is that I want to give access via a link as it is a much wider audience.  He was able to follow the library but it never turned up in the components section to use it. Issue 2 When sharing via email as mentioned above, I chang

What is new in 35.0.12? Last big release was XD 34. Is XD 35 only a fix of existing features, or does it add something? Can someone clarify the version numbering scheme used.

After a big pause I decided to switch from Sketch to Adobe XD for a small project. I have three problems at the moment I want to discuss: --I have a button component that uses padding to resize when text is changed. The button has two states: Default and Hover If you create an instance of the button and change the text of one of states the button resizes. But if you move the button and do not change the text of the other state thre is no way later to align the position of the two states? Has anyone solved this or you always remember to change the text of all states?-- I have a component that is a expand/collapse panel. This component is inside a stack group. When in design mode if I change the state of the component to collapsed all the elements under it will move up as per the stacks settings. But this doesn't work when in preview mode? Why?--I have a component that has other components inside. Can I animate the states of the partent component and the iner component with a t

While working, often when I double click on a text to edit, nothing happens. The blue highlight doesn't appear, after that I cannot type anything, the type tool also stops working. While other shape tools and all remain operational. After saving the file or rebooting Adobe Xd everything goes back to normal. I have been facing this problem very often, as in every hour the type tool freezes for about 3-5 minutes. It really disturbs my workflow. Kindly Help.

I am looking for Adobe XD license for commercial use for a period of 6 months. There are 6 people in my team who would want to use this. Is there any different license for XD apart from the individual pricing of Rs.768/- per month. How many in my team can use this license, if taken ?

I'm very confused. I've been sending links to my developer with designs mocked up in XD, and there are instances where I go back into the file a few days later and entire artboards are completely gone/missing. Is my developer deleting things? Is this something I'm doing?? I've been saving my file to the cloud. Can someone please help? Its gut wrenching to see the work just disappear and I have to start all of this work from scratch now!

Hello,When I want to share my XD document online, I get an error -1.Has this problem ever happened to anyone before?Thank you for your help

So here's the problem:After I finished the design the client asked for a change in all artboard's width (from 1080px to 375px), If there's a way of doing it- I don't find how. If I scale an artboard using shift+drag it doesn't keep the proportions. for example when I resize the whole artboard group: a 1px width stroke stays 1px instead of scaling down with the whole design. same as font size: stays the same size and while the textbox gets too small to contain in. I CAN do a workaround using illustrator BUT there's another problem: all my right to left languages loose it's alignment from "to the right" to "to the left" and moves forcing me reordering the whole composition. Please I'll be happy for your help!How can I scale down keeping the all proportion (canceling responsice act). is there a switch for corrners/strokes scalling like in Ai? Thanks,Shany

I wonder if anyone else has this problem. My XD doesn't ipdate automatically. It always says it's up to date in the CC app. But it's not. The only way I can update it is by uninstalling and then reinstalling from the product page. It's a pain, frankly. I manage student teams and if a team project has been updated and it's on the newer version than mine, I have to stop a critique or whatever, uninstall and reinstall. Surely this isn't normal? I'm running 10.15.7 a MacBook Pro mid-2015 but the issue has been there from the start - I first used XD when it was in the first Beta just never thought to chase the issue up. Appreciative of any help.

So as the title says, now and then when i start a new design in Adobe XD and use any font on my Macbook Pro, everything is working flawlessly. Later when i switch to my PC desktop workstation where i run Windows 10 and want to continue in the same project (opened from the cloud) it sometimes says "Missing Fonts" and I've tried everything to solve this matter but futile.I've tried the following to solve this:- Sign in / out from the creative cloud on all devices.- Re-install Adobe XD on all devices.- Try to locate the font-type I've used at fonts.adobe.com and sometimes, they don't appear there on the website, however, they do appear inside Adobe XD on my Macbook or Windows PC (vice-versa) which I find very odd.This issue also occurs for some of my projects when i try to view them on my smartphone (iPhone XS) while on mac and pc they show the fonts.Any suggestions?

Hello,  Question 1: Below are attached images about different states and components. When components are copied, how do I get rid of the dark bold outline on the diamond symbol? Question 2: When creating a state (or multiple states) sometimes, the dot in the diamond symbol doesn't appear. Some other times, the dot appears. Why is this occuring? 

One of the things that drives me crazy about adobe XD is it's home screen and the lack of ability to search for existing files in the Adobe Creative Cloud. The function simply does not exist as far as I can tell.A. Why not.B. When will they fix that?! All that exists is a paltry method to create folders in the Home environment. Another thing that drives me crazy is when the Open Files screen is invoked, it doesn't display the entire file name. Only a truncated version of it. That's insane.The amount of time I waste simply trying to file my existing files is absurd. Adobe,Please improve your search and Finder functionality, yesterday! Thanks.

Hi, It's easy to create a mask in XD but I can't find a way to delete it.

So far this only happens with "Proxima nova" font, which is the main font I use for this design system so I need a solution for this as soon as possible.I can't use any old libraries or create a new one because as soon as I add a character style to the library, it adds the font weight to the font name, which makes the font "missing", always. Example:I have a character style:ProximaNova55 SemiboldWhen I add it to the library it turns into:ProximaNova-Semibold55 Semibold - Which makes the font missing. I've attached a screen capture, for clarity.Any suggestions are welcome.

 

My Adobe Xd file is showing "Sorry can't open this file" Error. Its important for me and the file is only on cloud. What should I do?

Bonjour,je ne comprends pas, je n'arrive pas à créer un nouveau document, voici la fenêtre qui apparaît lorsque je lance Adobe XD : Du coup, je ne peux rien faire sauf peut-être ouvrir un document présent sur mon ordinateur, mais comme c'est la première fois que j'utilise Adobe XD...Il s'agit de la version 35.1.12. J'ai essayé de le désinstaller, réinstaller, ou bien d'installer la version antérieure, mais rien n'y fait.Je n'ai trouvé aucun problème similaire sur internet...Est-ce que c'est déjà arrivé à l'un d'entre vous ? Quelqu'un aurait-il une solution ?En vous remerciant beaucoup d'avance pour votre aide précieuse.Camille
