Questions

I would like to create my web designs with Adobe XD. But since XD still does not master color management and there are serious misrepresentations. Unfortunately this is not possible. Even when exporting to PDF, SVG, PNG or similar, color shifts occur. This means that I have a lot of additional work to correct the wrong colors. When can we finally expect a solution for this problem? How do other designers work with XD and the problem of colors? Is there a workaround?Thanks for help and ideas

Hello! I'm working on a project right now, and want to figure out how to add in a section of the page that automatically scrolls horizontally, and then transitions back to vertical again. In a way that translates the users vertical scrolls into horizontal ones. If that makes sense? A good example is https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/02/27/opinion/2019-year-in-illustration.html and how the webpage feels almost like stairs? The closest thing I can figure out is making the pages into a horozontal scroll group and then scrolling vertical again, but it just is'nt the same you know.  Thanks for th help, I really appreciate it,  Garrett Elm-Picard

I gave up on XD a long time ago on an entirely different system for the same reasons--and have been using a different work flow for my prototyping that actually works for me. However, I'm forced to use it for a current project and it's draining me of my patience. I'm getting constant and instantaneous crashes with no warning (no pinwheel or period of unresponsiveness--just an instant crash). Everything possible is up to date: my OS, the App itself, my NVIDIA drivers. It's one thing if it's crashing and auto-saving--but I'm not getting any auto-save at all. So I'm forced to spam ctrl + s with each miniscule change I make or risk losing my work. The first crash happened literally after pressing "enter" when changing my character size via entering a value with my keyboard. The second crash happened when changing the blend mode of a small button.  My System:Windows 10 HomeAMD R5 3600Nvidia 1650 Super16gb RAM C16 @ 3200 I tried following this guide fo

To say that XD is unstable and buggy is a great understatement, we all know that so I never know what to expect next. All of a sudden its looks like this in the Windows task view. A grey bottom area on the XD document thumbnails with a back, play, forward button section. It's just static graphic and on XD only. What on earth is that all about?? Makes no sense at all.

Hello! I'm trying to create a number counter (not sure what else to call it) in XD. I followed this tutorial, but it doesn't really work if you need to keep it going for a long time. I'm essentailly trying to recreate the countdown/number counter from this Guardian article. Thanks!

I Want to Simulate an App. I have chosen the IPhone X Design. I have now two finished Designs. I have the starting screen. And an second screen where you land when you tap on first screen. How can I know simulate a button which brings me after tapping it to the next site? I have already searched the Internet but can't find anything.. 

I am using the Google Material Design UI Kit in Adobe XD to design a GSheet add-on (for the menu bar on the right side of the screen). I would like to export my design directly to code. Of course, it will have no functionality. Is this possible w/Adobe XD or any platform?

Hi, I have a problem with component states. I created a component with three states:1. Normal (Main)2. Hover3. Selected When I change the color of the icon in the selected state I see the change normally in the main component. When I drag the component from the assets panel and select the selected state the icon is back to black. The thing is when I drag/copy the main component on the artboard the state is ok. Can UI/UX be designed using Adobe XD software only?  XD is suitable for used in this UX design industry??

"Reveal Component in Assets" is only available when Assets panel is currently opened.  Whenever another panel is opened, this option is simply no there. This isn't very intuitive and makes it hard to memorize it.   Can it be made to have this command always available and simply switch panel to Assets when user click on it?   {Renamed By MOD}

Hi, I am trying to get a prototype together that brings in a side menu and each time layers up the next menu, i almost have what i what but i can't figure out how to do it smoothly. If i use new artboard and a new page it brings across the header as well and if i use overlay i can't seem to get a multi level look going where it layers up. images below of what i am trying to achieve. Hi! While UX designing a website, I bumped into a problem: I want some circles to have a hover-effect so the user knows it's a button. Then, when the user taps the circle, I want them to go to another artboard. For some reason, when I added the hover-effect, the tap-trigger won't work anymore. I tried deleting the hover-effect, this results in the tap-trigger working again. But after adding the hover-effect again, the tap-trigger stopped working... again... Is there someone with experience with this kind of problem and with a solution? Please let me know! Thanks!

Hey guys, is there a way that I get a negative paragraph spacing (-20 for example)? I'm using a particular font that apparently has a bigger vertical spacing, and I need it to be smaller. It looks like there is only an option to make it bigger. How do you solve this?

Adobe XD is updated and i have followed all steps and tips and its still not working

Hello,   I'm just starting out with Adobe XD and I'm going through a course at Lynda.com to learn it.  The lesson that starts describing the interface shows an "add-ons" button just under the home menu.  I do not see that on my version of XD.  I'm using the starter version 33.1.12 on MacOS Catalina.  Should this be available in this version?  I see that there's a plugins menu but I don't see the add-ons.     Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!
