Hey all, I was wondering if there's a way to delete all child components when deleting the master (or just all components from a page in general)? I realise this is probably a very odd one but it would save a lot of hassle when creating style guides, making sure nothing is missing! Thanks,A

I´m trying to open a shared file but if I click on the link in the inventation and XD opens, this alert is popping up. Unfortunately we could not open this document.No permission to open this document. Obtain the permission or check that you are logged on with the correct account. What can I do?

I'm getting this error quite often. I keep XD open and go out to have lunch and for a break and when I'm back, XD has closed and shows this message when I open XD again.Fortunately I didn't lose any work, but it's quite annoying.  

Hi, I am a new user of Adobe XD, just trying out different things now. How can I change the colour of an icon (PNG file)? I tried many things and it fills the entire rectangle not just the icon. as a very important feature for UX designers I am sure there is a way to do this? Thanks

Hi there! This is my first post of probably many as i'm fairly new to XD 🙂 I'd like to achieve something very similar to this website https://exoape.com/work/rino-pelle/ where, when the user scrolls down the page, images and text move upwards into the frame. I have multiple images / paragraphs of text in my design and would like to achieve the same look. Can this be done in XD? and if so, what's the best method to use? Many thanks in advance!

I am working on a design system, specifically form elements, where text fields have a few different States:inactive (empty) - black500 borderfocus - blue border + shadowInactive (filled) - black600 borderhover - black66 bordererror - red borderdisabled - black300 border PROBLEM: The new states do not allow for shadow or border radius?I create a component for InactiveThen, I try to use the Compnent > State > Focus.I can apply the blue border, but I do not see an option to add/adjust a shadow. The border radius also resets from 2 (inactive) to 0, and there is no way to apply border radius to a state. Do states support border radius or shadow? Seems like a massive overight if not. Can we not do things like adjust shadow depth on :hover or :focus?

When creating a new transition and setting the time duration or delay, if you type the number zero, it'll autocomplete to 0,2. It's annoying that to set 0 seconds, you need to erase the ",2" added to it.

I am making a small textbox and want to make it overlay another artboard. I was working on a larger scale on the bottom artboard and realized I needed to scale down the overlay artboard. When I tried to re size all my objects started squishing together. It was mildly infuriation because none of them actually changed sizes. I feel like Im missing a simple solution to this. 

Does XD support the Italian language?

When i generate a link for my prototype, the audio playback can only heard in my prototype if i have signed in with XD. It is showing the message "To enable the voice features in this prototype, please Sign In." Can i access this feature without signing in? Is there a work around to this?

Hi all, I have a few general questions about a few UI elements I've designs and the best way to control them in components. I'll attach some screenshots so you can see how the UI looks which might help you understand my explanation/what I'm asking (if it's possible). 1. If I have an icon + text within a button (both grouped in a folder within component) is it possible so that when you edit the text, the group automatically remain centred? Or is it just a case of changing the text to what is needed and then manually realigning again? - See Filter/Sort Button screenshot 2. I have a piece of text with a line drawn underneath it, is it possible so that when the text is changes the line increased/decreases in size to match the width of the text. Guys, Please help!! After my recent july XD update, I am facing an issue and the error is irrelevent.  I have created a Dashboard which has 72+ prototype links (while links to other scrteens from single dashboard) to other screens. once the protype linking is done i was tring to publish and generate the public link, It doen'nt allow me to create the link and it through me an error which says : " You're are disconected, Check your internet connection and try again." even though my internet is connected and the CC is conneted to cloud and scyned.  But if i use very few links in dashboard or any other file, it does work and generate a public link, i suspect this is happenening becase of toomany links in the single artboard. Anyone is facing hte same issue? what is the solution? Regards,Santhosh Katta  

Scenario:In a project I have created a button component. The master has a text layer. The text is 'Button Label'.In this project I copy the component and change its text from 'Button Label' to 'Continue'.I can paste this component in the original project and the text remains 'Continue'. Expectation:When I paste this component into another project the text remains 'Continue'. Bug:When I paste this component into another project, the text reverts to 'Button Label' (the master component default). Restarting didn't help. I use macOS. This very recently (last update?) began occurring for me.

Is it possible to change align in Repeat Grid. I added hoover tooltip, but it's covered by next repeat. Id't like to have every next repeat under the previos one. Of course keep it still a Repeat Grid.

I can't add text to a text box that has text in it. Everytime I click as close as I can to an existing line of text within the text box to add more text to that spot, it creates a whole separate line of text (outside of the text box). Why cant I just add text to a text box? It keeps adding new lines of text no matter where I click. Please help, thanks. Heres a picture to illustrate what Im talking about:

When I make hover on a plugin, the cursor didn't change to the hand.I also have a suggestion. It's too hard to find the plugins manager because you need to open a project and from there you can open the plugins manager (This is what I know, correct me if I'm wrong), so, why not to have a shorcut from the home window?

Hi! I have created a master component (a button) and I used it as the base for other buttons across my project. I now need to convert one of these other buttons into the master component. Is that possible? If so, can you guide me through it? Thanks!
