Questions

To adjust the position of an overlay on the source artboard, click, drag, and drop the green position knob (+). I simply cannot drag the green position knob while in prototype mode. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks

Something has changed since the last update, I can't import an SVG file correctly. The shapes come in but the gradient does not. The SVG file was created in Illustrator and opens fine in Illustrator. Copying and pasting from Illustrator either turns the gradient into a solid colour or it flips it upside down. I have placed this file before and has never done this until the last update. Even the colours are different from the old file.

Hi. XD is working terribly slow! It is almost impossible to get any work done. Is there an issue with the latest update? I am running the latest macOS Catalina. 

Hi guys,I'm having an issue that's bothering me. I'm using Adobe XD and when I'm using the record preview option XD automatically saved that video in resolution of 1538 x 1538 px (and the original artboards are 2500 x 2500 px). Is there some option to edit the video recording size/resolution output in XD for this particular purpose?Thank you in advance,Aleksandar

This post was removed and the explenation was duplicate but you guys need to read the posts better cause it was far from a duplicate to the link presented. Let's take this again. I'm unable to change the transition type on components with a hover state and a tap state as the transition type is grayed out and set default to the silly Dissolve, there's no way to select anything else on the tap event. If I remove the hover event I'm able to select a different transition to the tap event. So it's obviously a bug cause it says on the Adobe help site that having both a hover and a tap event on the same component is not an issue in terms of selection transition type.

I'm having a trouble where I could not access my XD share link file. I have been trying to access the link in the past hour, however, I keep getting redirection to "Something went wrong" page. Me and my team are stuck because none of us can access the link. Please advice me on how to pursue this matter. I don't want to regenerate the link as there are some comments on the existing link that I have to take care of. Thanks.  

Hi, I recently started using Adobe XD and wanted to export my designs to after effects for animation. I found out, that I can export my xd designs to after effects and work with it. But that option is disabled for me. Why is this? I have installed  free versions of both adobe XD and after effects. I have attached a screenshot for the same.

When I open a project on my Xd, i have a missing font, but on other computer where that project was created there is no problem. I was looking for that font on Adobe Fonts but I cant find that on it.I am talking about Britannic.

Lately I can't install plugins in adobe xd,Does anyone know how to fix it?

Every time I try to open this shared file, it gets stuck on the loading screen around 75%. Sometimes it finishes loading, but that's after I unplug my router from the wall, shut down my computer, sign out/sign back into creative cloud. Go through the uninstall/reinstall process. Literally every time I try to open the file this happens. I don't have the option to save locally as other clients are using it and they don't seem to have the same problem. Everything is updated.Does this have anything to do with file size?

I have buttons that sit bellow the viewport in a fixed position they disapear and it sems like this has been going on for a while now (fresh update today 7.21.2020). Has there been any solutions to this? And the answer 'you cant have you cake and eat it too' really isnt good enough. 

Hi, when i was trying to save my file, the app crashed and when i restarted, they prompted me to sign in to my creative cloud account again. I did and when i reopened the app, my file is missing from 'Recent'.I also cannot locate my files anywhere in the Assets, Cloud and in my computer. But the file name is still showing when i right-click my app icon - LP-HP-020720 (please see image) Is there any way i can retrieve it again? I've searched online for answers and tried everything. Thanks! 

XD 31, crashes when exporting artboards as pngs. Mac

I tried animating a list by changing the distance between elements and it crashes XD on Mac and iPhone when previewed.Turns out it only crashes if you hide the element on the previous artboard (Video Attached)

I have a  file that cant be open due to unproper shot down of my pc, I currently have a .xd file and .tmp file, is there any possibility that I can retrieve this file ? 

I am trying to create a parallax scrolling effect. It works if all layers are unmasked however, if I mask the layers, it gives a faded transition. With all lose layers, the parallax scroll effect shows up but gives a very shoddy effect when it trasitions to the next slide. An urgent help would be much appreciated   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Today I have installed the latest version of Adobe XD but I face a problem that, keyboard doesn't work. Then I uninstall 3 times and install and facing the same problem but other software I can use keyboard. So what's solution for this problem?

I am trying to upload a prototype and I want to disable the hotspot hints, so that the user has no help to navigate in the experience rather than the design itself, in order to record his/her experience more accurately. It seems like I can't disable hotspots, even though I am unchecking the checkbox, then saving the document, then updating the link. I tried all the different combinations, but nothing seems to work. It is important to hide the hotspots, because it kind of ruins the whole experience byrevealing the next steps...Any ideas?

I have created a prototype for my devs to work off of including exportable assets.  The assets I want are all marked as exportable but they don't show up in the development link that I give to my devs.  Below are screenshots showing this... Here is an image showing the exportable icons and on the left you can see they are marked as exportable. Here is an image showing the prototype that I'm viewing on web in development mode.  As you can see, the icons are not exportable, they don't show up under assets. Yesterday I made a new link for my devs and they icons worked.  As soon as I updated the link, they don't.  This is a huge problem because they are working off of one link.  I can't give them a new link everyday, there are 12 devs and organizing that would be a nightmare.  This seems like a bug to me.  Any help would be appreciated. I am on windows 10, have the latest version of XD as of the date of this post.  

From my understanding a pasteboard collection contains any object created in the gray area outside any artboard. If that's the case then why can't I importan an image directly into the pasteboard and not the artboard itself? As far as what this would be used for, it could be used for stensil or an example of what you want to replicate as a set of arboards. Say you had a few hand-sketches, you scanned it and imported into XD and now you want to start building a hihger-fidelity wires.Right now the moment I paste something or import something into XD, the image automatically attaches to the closest artboard.

Hello,   I report you an important issue, tested 3 times. When I click on the recording video:     It shut down my computer with a "Bziiiit" sound. Can you say me if it's from my side (performance of my computer) or if it's an issue to resolve from XD? I already use the feature and no problem, it's since yesterday. I'm not able to select new design options. UI is not working properly. I cannot scroll to access more options or use custom dimensions. There is no option to write numbers for custom dimensions.

There's an asset in an XD file I recently recived.  When i select it and export it, I get the original asset.  What I want is the asset withe the filters that are applied in XD.  This particular asset has passthrough set on it.  I've tried everything I can think of, but I keep getting the original asset without the applied styling.  What am I doing wrong here?
