Questions

Some days, I will be plugging along on an XD file, when the center canvas and all artboards become ever so slightly pixelated and freeze. All of the side panels work properly, they just won't change anything in the center. It returns to normal when I close and reopen the file, but that will last anywhere from 1 second to several days.    Any idea on what might be causing this? Running the latest version of XD and Windows 10.

I am running latest version of XD, 30.1.12 on macOS 10.15.5, iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) On startup of Adobe XD, the application seems to disconnect (and cycle connection) of my USB 3.0 hub. The only way to reconnect the hub properly is to logout completely of my user on the OS, or force a restart. I have tested multiple USB 3.0 hubs, and this occurs everytime Adobe XD starts up. (Though, I have not tested a powered hub, but I cannot fathom why this would be a solution for a singular application's error). No errors are indicated by XD— once started, the software works as expected; the problem is that it is interferring with hardware.

Although this problem has been previously solved, my problem happens when trying to allow screen recording to Adobe XD, since the checkbox is locked, as seen in the screenshot below. Can anyone help me please? 

I get this error once I enable Coedit on any cloud xd file.. I've restarted, I've gone through all of the updates and settings for Creative Cloud... now what?? Has anyone had success in using it? Hi, I try to simulate a dropdown in Adobe XD. My dropdown component has 2 states, 'standard' & 'selected'. When taping it, an overlay of a different artboard is simulating the dropdown options. When taping again, I want to come back to my original page, but the dropdown component there should switch to its state "selected".Is there a possibility to connect this state switch with the tap? I got Adobe experience manager trial licence from my company to ramp up? Basically i'm a Java developer so not sure how and where to get started? What kind of applications can be done using all these? Is all these comes under the category of Low Code No Code(LCNC)?

Hi all, I really need a help regarding adobe xd fixed scroll able navigation bar (Bottom), the problem is, i have 4 icons on my nav bar, spaces between them are clickable. Y? 

Hallo Zusammen, ich habe zwei Fragen die mir vielleicht jemand beantworten kann. 1. Werden links zu prototypen die in xd pupliziert wurden von google indiziert, sprich gibt es die Gefahr das jemand der den link nicht besitzt zugriff darauf hat? Hintergrund ist das ich für Entwürfe oftmals Bilder nutze die nicht gekauft wurden. 2. Gibt es in xd nicht die Möglichkeit ein PAsswort zu vergeben um Protoypen zu schützen? die aktuelle Möglichkeit es für Personen freizugeben ist sehr unpraktikabel wenn ich dies an einen Kunde freigeben möchte der ja gar keine adobe id besitzt. Danke im voraus für eure Antworten

Big problems and errors after the update.I am having serious problems after making the last published update.I cannot export files or any screen.I cannot create new links and cannot update existing links.I'm having a serious problem with my work right now.Solutions I tried,- I tried multiple different internet connections. It did not.- I removed and cleaned the creative cloud and all my applications and reinstalled them. It did not.- I logged out of the creative cloud. I stopped all the adobe components in the system. I logged in and tried again. It did not.- I have tried all the solutions for the above error.Please help, the necessary information is included in the appendix.

 

Hi All, I got an update to Adobe XD, but i have still not updated the XD and i am working in the older version.SO my question is, if i upgrade to new version, will I be able to open my older XD file with the new Adobe version? Or Should i not upgrade it. Also, if i share this file (old file) with my frined who is using the latest version, will they be able to view them? I am using adobe xd v.29.1.32.8 (starter)

All the other shortcuts seem to be working fine, except Align Center Horizontally 

I've set up my mobile app design that has a lot of buttons.The button shape/style is a component (cloud-based in case that matters).If I change the opacity property in the master component, it does not translate to all of my instances (local based).It seems like, of all things, a simple thing like the opacity property should translate to the instances.I have two questions:Am I doing something wrong?If not, is there a work-around?

When sharing for development the hidden component states like dropdown menu etc is included in the code specs. This is very annoying cause when you move the mouse around the area where the component is the hidden sublayers appears like invisable box frames, just blue borders. The developers constantly ask what this is cause it looks like an error in the design. The hidden layers from components with states shouldn't show in the code specs. Its confusing.

Hello, I can't use the "fix position" check box in the Prototype tab. I see an option "fixed deflection position" under Action but it is grayed out and I cannot use it.I would like to fix a Nav bar at the bottom of the page and that it does not move during the scroll.Am i wrong somewhere?How to do ?  Thank you for your help! 

I am looking for a solution in which I can send a potential user a link and have them test my app prototype without any additional barriers.So far when I open the prototype from the cloud file in my Adobe XD App on my phone, all of the text fields are defromed. If I share a link to test the prototype it doesn't show it in full screen but in the chrome page... So is there any way in which I can share my prototype so that it can be tested like a real app???Secondly, we must meet certain requirements. One is that all buttons should have a minimum size of 12mm (as an absolute measurable size). Can anybody tell me how I can guarantee this or how mm can be converted to px? Adobe only offers the version with a 360x640px display for Android smartphones.

Hi, I need some help figuring out why my colleagues can't see the white background behind the languages, while it looks just fine in my browser (I'm using Chrome, but it works in Firefox and Microsoft Edge too). I've attached a screenshot sent form one of my colleagues. There should be a white background behind the text.  Here is the prototype link https://xd.adobe.com/view/5cc237de-e584-46f9-54f2-e511b135316b-2af3/?fullscreen click on the Lang button top right corner. I tried updating the link many times, I also generated a new link. Nothing helps... I would really appreciate if someone can help because the link is now with the client and we need to fix it ASAP. Many thanks!

Hey, how's it going?Hope you're doing well.For me XD it's pretty cool and awesome thing - but last time I'm working with sketch files - and I have this small bugs which I can't fix.When You open file in adobe XD - everything looks well besides some images - they are fully fill with colors where they must be empty, check screenshots.And also - it seems like there's not enough space to open file fully - so at my project like ~45 pages - but I have only 30~ and other are cut by document - can I somehow expand size of it?Waiting for reply - thank You!

I have the exact same file open in the exact same version of XD (latest) on both my Mac and my PC. For some reason, even though the text in the design is in the exact same position, and nothing is different, there is a visual alignment issue going on. The text does not look like it is in the exact same place on both OS's. That text is in an ideal spot on the Mac, but it looks slightly offset on windows even though it is in the exact same position without any changes. I'm not sure why this is the case. This is happening for every piece of text in the document, not just these 2 examples that I have highlighted in attached screenshots. Look at every other piece of text in those screenshots. You will see that they are not aligned the same. I have also tried re-saving the file on Windows and opening on the Mac, and the text is still aligned as I want on the Mac but not on Windows. I plan to start working on this project on Windows now but I do not feel comfortable with doing so if I kn

Hi there   I was wondering if someone might be able to help, I'm trying to create a componenet within a componenet but for some reason the second componenet isn't working. Am I doing something wrong?For example:   I have a card that when the user hovers over, a settings cog appears (first componenet) and when the user hovers over the settings cog a drop down menu displays (second componenet). Hi there.I looking for 'Export Design Specs' Button in Share.Now, Just Find 'Create Link' Button.The Problem is the error of not being able to connect keeps pop-up. But When I checked, Internet connection is normal.  How can i do this? 

Hi guys has anyone used web export to export css from adobe XD ? I keep getting this error `Run Error: TypeError: Cannot read property 'BLEND_MODE_PASSTHROUGH' of undefined`.  Not sure why. I am also new to adobe XD so any other ways to export css to developers would be helpful
