Computer Screen Banding Removal with After Effects

Hello there,

I'm interested to see if anyone knows a quick hotfix for computer screen banding on footage. I'm working on a spot for a client and want to know if there's any way to correct their footage via a gamma correction on AE. If anyone knows a way to undergo this process, that would go greatly appreciated!
