Hey,about 2-3 months ago, I noticed that the way the path tool works in shape layers and masks changed for the worse. When I draw masks nowadays, AE tries to change the paths between the points to even roundings (as you can see in the picture), and changing the roundness influences both sides of a point instead of giving the option of influencing the roundness of each side of the point individually.Before this change, when I drew the path, I could also just set the points without any roundness as a standard or hold while setting the point and then decide the roundness. Both aren't possible anymore.I'm using the latest version (24.6). This makes my work a lot harder. I hope someone can help me. 

When selecting the effects window, the program freezes and the computer stops responding to commands for 5 seconds

So in Adobe premiere you can see the percentage of what your speed ramping example(120 frames to 24 is 20%). If I interpolate footage to 23.976 from a 120 it's going to be in slow motion but how do I speed the footage back to 23.976 precisely in after effects it's really annoying and would love to know a fix to this.

How do I make the preview button ONLY play normal speed from play head. NOTHING ELSE like speed upIm thinking like in a video editor Just play from where ever I set the play head ie scene 1 20 seconds in and just play normal speed.Not speed up, slow donw, jump to whereever it was playing before, skip to 45 seconds or a minute ahead, stop playing sound ahd basically doing its owh thing and not what I want please?It seems to get lines underneath the play button whihc looks to me liek an indicator or changign speed to double speed etc.Its driving me bat do  do and majorly slowing me down.Ie remove any short cuts, intitions, intiative, its own creativeitym etc wetcJust okay reguaklr speed from where I want or slowign down or speedign up as I slide the play head likign when editign video. (and with sound). ANd not turnign off the sound please

I'm trying to make a video from 500 images that aren't named continuously (e.g. image 1, then 4, then 9, etc). And just 1 layer, not each image having it own layer. How can I do this? Thanks

Hi,I'm wondering if theres a way to preview files in a folder just like Premiere pro has it's features to view images/video in a folder showing thumbnails. It's odd to me that After effects doesn't have this same capability. Opening one by one in a preview window takes forever. Wondering if theres an add on or script that helps with this.Thanks!

In the Progam Files location in the Adobe folder, it has the various folders of all the adobe programs dating back to CC 2017 which I no longer use since I am on 2020. I have a video in Premiere and, in order to keep color profile, I'm creating a nested duplicate of the video clip. Then I create a new project in After Effects, and I import the Premiere Pro Sequence. This works fine. I can see the clip is there. But, when I drag that clip down to create a new composition, it doesn't appear in the timeline. I just get a black screen and can't view anyting. I have done this before without any issues. I don't know why it's suddenly not working - and I have no clue where to go from here.

Everyday I would use scripts that would affect something out of the timeline, and objects would animate accordingly. In updating. My after effects behaves differently; am I misconceiving. Hi community. Is it possible when duplicating layers, to have the layer one on top, then the rest will stack in numeric order? When Im duplicating this shape, Im making a lot of layers, number one goes down the bottom, then number 2 on top of it. Then I need to restack them from one going on the top, then manually stacking each numbers accordingly. is there an option for the layers to descend numerically? Im doing the sequence layers method, and my animation is in reverse due to the layer numbers not descending, thats why Im asking for this information.Thank you.
