Hello,I'm developing some desktop apps using Flash CC 2014 on Mac OS 10.10.2 with Retina display.This morning all the AIR apps I'm working on, and also the Adobe AIR Application Installer itself, started suddenly to show pixelated text, pixelated images and even pixelated windows buttons.Until now everything was fine and I absolutely didn't tweak parameters in Flash CC or any other system parameter.So I installed the most recent version of AIR2 runtime, installed also AIR 16.0 SDK and recompiled all apps.Nothing changes, I'm still getting heavy pixelation in application's graphics.But if I test the app from Flash CC from the debug menu everything works fine, no pixelation.Anyone knows about this weirdness and how to fix it?...

After we updated our AIR SDK to AIR 17, when we build Android package and release it, some users who use 32 bit Android  device can not play the game.If we use AIR 16 to build the package, these users can play.Our game has used the Stage3D API and Starling SDK.How can I fix this issue? Is there anybody encounter this issue? Thank you.

Hello. Our corporate Information Security department has identified several hundred Windows clients with versions of Adobe AIR that are end of life. Quite frankly, no one is familiar with Adobe AIR and if they're using it, it's only because of a dependency with a known application without realizing such a dependency exists.We want to either remove the offending software or update it to a supported version. Pushing a version that's still within it's life cycle is out first choice as a balance between security and functionality but we're concerned with the latest version's ability to be backwards compatible. Is Adobe AIR similar to the Java RE in that upgrading it could result in breaking compatibility? Also, we notice almost all of our instances of outdated Adobe AIR is tied to a client that has either the Creative Suite or Photoshop elements installed. Do these applications rely on AIR? Do they just install it as part of a package?

Are there any startup parameters to increase efficiency of apps I start with AIR? Like, java allows to specify Xmx parameters for giving the app more RAM to use. Is there anything like this for Air?Also, if I download the AIR beta, does that mean I can run old apps in the newer version, and may experience better performance there?

I need Air for desktop application either in .exe or in .air with embedded captive runtime just like .apk . Wen I open the camera dialog and then either hit cancel or take a pic and return to my app.... my entire stage zooms.  It looks like its zooming to show any off stage content. If I then rotate the app 180 degrees it readjusts to be normal again. My app is a landscape app.If I set the app to be EXACT_FIT the problem happens and then auto corrects itself. Still looks really bad for the second that it happens though.The camera portion is crucial to my app .. so hoping there is a known fix for this.Any help appreciated as always!

Installation error: application verification failedI have been receiving this message over and over again when trying to publish my iOS app for the app store (I use Flash cc AIR 3.9.1.1080 for iOS and my settings are: "device testing in interpreter mode", as my app uses several swfs).I have done everything from scratch, as recommended on other sections of the forums: new app ID from my apple developer account, new Distribution Certificates, new Distribution Provisioning Profiles and nothing works.I can install my app on my iPad if I use the development Certificate and Provisioning Profile and everything seems OK. But as soon as I use the Distribution Certificate and Provisioning Profile get the same message:the device has encountered an unexpected error. Sometimes in my air application I am getting one error #2032 - but on re-sending this query it works fine. I suspect this is some timing issue. What could be possible use cases where it can fail like this.

Hi!The last wek I updated Adobe Flash CC 2014 and also Air SDK 17. I saw that i am not able anymore to deactivate fast compiling  .So I tried and the List component is showing that all items are selected. It looks that all items are selected.On IPAD it looks like this. everything seems to be selectedOn Desktop it is correct.Please help.Michael

Our app includes a music player which streams MP3s from a server. We would like to be able to stream the MP3, and save it to a cache on disk once it has fully downloaded.I am using the load() method of the Sound class to stream the MP3 so that playback can begin before the file is fully downloaded. I can listen for the Event.COMPLETE event to indicate that the MP3 has finished downloading, but the Sound class offers no way to access the original file and save it to disk (the extract() method returns uncompressed sound data which is much too large to write to the disk).Is there any method to download an MP3 file that will allow us to stream the MP3 file as it is downloading, and save it to disk when the download is complete, without downloading it twice?

Is it just my local problem or known issue, that Stage3D rendering in Scout is not available with AIR18?I have Stage3D telemetry in Scout and advanced-telemetry in project enabled, but in Scout window I see:There are no Stage3D commands in this context.

My ClamXav found the following attached to an app (JL Edwardian Advent Calendar) on my computer: Swf.Exploit.CVE_2014_0581. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, and I have updated the Flash Player and Adobe Air, but ClamXav continues to mark it as infected. Could this be a false positive? Is it safe to run this app after the updates?

I have several accounts on my MacBook, and one of them Adobe Air doesn't work. It doesn't get to the installation window. The installer starts up but doesn't come to the installation window. When I go to another account I can install Air perfectly and the app that uses it also works fine. If I go back to the first account the app that uses Air doesn't start up, it stop in the "loading" window. There is no freezing. I can quite the app. But it does give the usual apple error: "App" has quit unexpectedly.

I have a basic countdown script that I've used in the past in old Flash project. For some reason when I run it in an iOS app it behaves strange. I am developing an AIR app for Windows desktop and iOS. The app needs to be able to create PDFs from information inputted by the user, and then save the PDF to the device. Ideally, I need to do this 100% client-side, and not rely on a server to create the PDFs. Does anyone know of the best solution for this? I have contacted the developers of both AlivePDF and PurePDF libraries, as these may provide the solution, but both of these libraries appear to be about 4 - 5 years old.

I get 440px on galaxy s2, by a screenheight of 800px -> but height of softkeyboard less than half of the screen. Seems it's a known issue and there are ane solving the problem... sometimes...Isn't there a working solution ... is Adobe working on the problem?

Hello,AIR 17.0.0.124 critical bug on stage3D/Android/ HTC Desire 610 ( full spefication http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_desire_610-6160.php) I was using AIR 16 and all working correctly. In AIR 17 when I'm using SubTextures ( atlas textures) , stage 3D don't rendered this (all is black). BUT classic textures is working correctly.Other devices that I use I don't have any problems. only HTC Desire 610 and AIR 17.I'm using Genome2D.Thank you

We have an IOS app deployed in the app store running on Air SDK 4.0. The app has no problems running on IOS8 devices. Our app uses flash.net.socket to communicate with a server.We are testing a new update that we want to deploy to the app store and discovered a crashing bug with the flash.net.socket class under a certain circumstance.Basically, if you loose Wifi, the device usually takes a few seconds to 10 seconds to switch to cellular, or discover it has neither wifi or cellular.It so happens that if you open a flash.net.socket and connect to a server while the device is in this in-between state where it hasn't detected there is no wifi or network, the air app will just crash with no warning. Another thing about this crash is that it only happens with a release (adhoc or appstore) build but NOT with a debug build.To reproduce is very straightforward:1. create a new socket : skt=new Socket();2. add some event listeners...3. issue a skt.connect(httpServer,httpPort);  to connect th
