Hello, I need a DESKTOP AIR application (captive runtime bundle) to be able to restart itself after an update process. The method involving productManager.launch doesn't work because <allowBrowserInvocation></allowBrowserInvocation> cannot be set to true for an application packaged with the captive runtime option : Does anyone has a solution to this problem ?Thanks.Vincent.

Hi!What's the best way to print what an AIR application shows. I mean, imagine you purchase something and you want to offer the posibility to print like a "transaction completed page". I've seen the way to print in AIR app is via PrintJob class but I don't know how to add the page to a Sprite object to use PrintJob.addPage().Thanks in advance,Ale
Hi,We have problems on the Android Pixel 2 xl phone, it seems that when the button bar disappears the application doesn't refresh, and we have a black space that won't allow us to see the application in a correct way. We are using AIR 26.

Hi,I have an error when I try to write a file on Android 8.0 on desktopDirectory (on AIR 30.0).ANDROID 7.0: It works without any problem.ANDROID 8.0: I tested on 2 different moviles and I get this error: 'Error #3001: File or directory access denied.'NOTE 1: On applicationStorageDirectory it works without any problem on both versions.NOTE 2: With AIR 28.0 it works without any problem on both versions.NOTE 3: When reading files it works without any problem on both versions.

Hi!I'm trying to encrypt a local DB in an Air Application. Using the example I found here: Working with the encrypted local SQLite database | Adobe Developer Connection I use command line to compile the project and it seems I have to import the as3corelib but I just don't know how to. Can someone give an explanation on how to import that library to use EncryptKeyGeneration class?. Thanks in advance,Ale
We can't test our apps in iPhone X simulator from Animate CC 2017 and AIR 27 BETA, someone told me that AIR doens't makes something 64-bit or something (sorry for my poor explanation..), thing is, how could we test this? As I've only worked with Animate and AIR, I don't know other ways to put .app on simulator than straight from Animate option "test in iOS simulator"thanks!

Hi,we have a big problem with the latest release of AIR.If we build a release for the app store, the workers crashes directly. I analyze the problem on a small project and the problem seems to be with static functions and / or variables. I report a bug a few weeks ago on the tracker (tracker) but I get no reaction from Adobe. Few other developers has the same problem. With the attached demo project, it can easily reproduce the problem.My problem is that we MUST release a new version of our app as soon as possible but we cant use an older AIR version on iOS (because of Apple Store REJECTION). Hi,I have installed latest versions of Adobe AIR and Scratch offline editor on my computer (OS- Windows 7, 64 bit).Whenever I try to open a Scratch project (.sb2) file using Scratch Editor, it crashes. I am developing a game using Animate CC, Using Air SDK 30 in GPU mode and when I publish the app some black bars appear at the right and left side of the app, the problem is not related to stage size or stage mode, all combinations result in having that bars.I'm worried this is still an issue after almost 2 years of "tall phones" being available
HelloI have installed Adobe AIR and Scratch 2.0 offline editor on my computer (Windows 7, 64 bit). When I try to open .sb2 (Cod e in Scratch programming language), offline editor crashes. I used WinDbg to analyse the crash debug file. It says “WARNING: Windows codecs overlaps adobe air" .Pl help me resolve this problem. With the last updates of our app the size in iTunes got huge -> the uploaded IPA has 20 MB and in iTunes it has 160 MB. Half a year before it was about 50 MB and there are no huge changes...Are we doing something wrong? Is it the new 29er SDK? Or the assets.car?
I have attached photos from AIR apps I work on. I am having issues with the iPhone X specifically.I am running,-Latest iOS-Latest AIR 28-Complied via Flash builder (Mac OS 10.12.6)-Both apps successfully were submitted to app store-Both apps are opened from test-flight beta testingWhen the app opens up I can see the status bar, however after a period of time the status bar doesn't show up on the top. I cannot figure out what causes this, I have tried app switching and opening and closing the app. The behavior seems random, however when it occurs - it remains. Any ideas on this are appreciated.

So I gave my app to a friend to test on their inexpensive Galaxy Tab E, a $200 tablet. What I have found is that when you minimize my app and come back to it later, it is often locked up and does not respond.On my iPad and more expensive Galaxy Tab S, if you minimize the app and browse the internet, and then pull the app back up later, it either resumes smoothly from where it left off, or it re-initializes the app and starts over from the beginning, but it NEVER locks up.Is there something I should look for, or a way that I can keep my app from locking up on inexpensive tablets??? Has anyone else run into this issue??Thanks for any insights!
Hello,I have a game that is going strong in Steam but there seems to be an issue with powerful / modern machines.The game has a lot of graphics that are in screen and they can use up to 400MB in VRAM in HD resolutions.The game has some graphics done for 720p and some others 1080p so they can look nice (in HD) when played 1080p or more. Anyway I have lowered the specs to its minimum by reducing some of the backgrounds to use less pixels, but I'm still quite close to the edge of maximum memory for GPU, which is 0.5GB, and that' is pretty low to be honest, specially if we consider that resolution uses that memory.I Have : - Upgraded to AIR 30. - Upgraded Steam ANE to 64bits compatible. (and it works) - Added: <architecture>64</architecture> - Compiled for 64bits using: set AIR_WIN_ARCH=64 - Added 64bit version of steam libs, the app was asking for those. As the air sdk 24 was released, it introduced the permissions API. Currently I have an app that targets the iOS platform and when it tries to access the camera, it fails with Error #3800: This call requires Camera permission.I have tried to follow the example provided in the SDK release notes (12/13/2016 - Release - AIR 24 Runtime and SDK but when calling cam.requestPermission(); as outlined in the example, the app is crashing silently and the debugger doesn't show any error.I am using Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 with AirSDK 24 installed and the target device is an iPad AIR with iOS 10.1. One note though is that I have tried debugging the following properties/method calls:Camera.permissionStatuscam.requestPermission();and in my console result both undefined, even though in Flash Builder it clearly shows that I am using AIR SDK 24 and also the xml app descriptor also is using version 24, is it possible that the IDE in debug mode is using another SDK version?My fear is that the Flex SDK 4.6
