HiI i mported video.mp4 to Adobe Animate CCI put it in the timeline and expand it so I can play and add my text and drawingsWhen I export, I get empty white screenand I get this in output window:WARNING: This movie uses features that are not supported in the Flash Player 32 playerScene=Scene 1, layer=Layer_1, frame=1⚠️ H.264 video will not be published. I want to export it as mp4 any suggestions? Thanks

Hi there, myself and my friend were both making scenes in separate files which we were going to add together at the end, however we made a big mistake and have different stage dimensions (we're new to this). I tried adding the scenes to a new file when I noticed this, and I tried using the 'scale content' option, however it did not work and looks awful. Is there a way to fix without having to resize after every keyframe does anyone know? 

I updated my Animate to the newest version, and when I open one of my old files, the stage is behind of a white screen... 

I installed the trial version of Animate, however when I open the program this white screen does not allow me to work. *My software and video card are up to date . What can I do to make this white screen come out?

Hi All,I am trying to allow users to input a name that will then update Dynamic Text. Before that, however, I simply want to print the user-typed into console, but I can't seem to get this to work.  My code. This is placed on the second frame of a movie clip that is activated with a button on the main scene:  this.stop(); var txt_pet1 = document.getElementById("PET1_NAME_TEXT1"); this.NAME_APPLY_BUTTON.on("click", onApply.bind(this)); function onApply(e) { var pet1_name = document.getElementById("PET1_NAME_TEXT1").value; console.log(pet1_name); }  When the click the "Apply" button, I expect the inputted text to show up but instead I get nothing. I also have an error in console saying "[DOM] Found 2 elements with non-unique id #PET1_NAME_TEXT1" but I don't think this is defined anywhere else. Any help is appreciated! Melanie  

So here is my code:  function show_controlPanel(onOff, frame, offOn) { _.controlPanel.visible = onOff; _.controlPanel.checkBoxes = onOff; _.panelButton.visible = offOn; }; Simple: click the button show the panel and hide the button. The panel has eight checkboxes on it. Problem is, once the checkboxes are brought to the stage I am then unable to hide them. I've tried putting them all in a movieclip and hiding that (ie 'checkBoxes') but they persist to display. Can ANYONE please assist with this as it's holding me up on some work! Whenever I undo, switch between eraser and brush, or use a long stroke, Animate lags really bad and will sometimes freeze and crash. I'm new to the program, so I don't know how to troubleshoot the issue and I haven't found anything online. I'm using a Turcom TS - 6610 for drawing, but I don't think this is the issue because even if I use hotkeys on my keyboard Animate lags all the same.Any and all help appreciated.

Hi i might be going mad, but learing animate ona. tuition and they simply go to the tool sections and all is highlighted.  I only want to put an oval in but lots of the boxes are grey and cannot be used?  

 Hey everyone, i found a tutorial about a drag and drop game, where you drag an item to a set location, the question is as follows: i need this in a game im making but with 15 different objects and i don't think duplicating this code 15 times changing the values for every on my object is the best way posible, can you guys help me with ideas?

I'm experiencing a really strong lag while drawing with the fluid brush in Animate 20.0.2 on a Cintiq 24, MacOS Catalina. Newest Wacom drivers. Tried to reinstall everything without effect. Any ideas how to fix this? 

Yesterday I used the paint brush to paint a cartoon face, and was animating the face emoting. I saved it and today whenever I add a brush stroke to the frame, it goes behind the face. How can I stop this?

My daughter is doing a school project in Adobe Animate, following an online tutorial. I've attached a screenshot of the project.  Her challenge is she's trying to use the "paint selection" setting of the brush tool but it doesn't seem to work.  Every paint stroke she makes disappears whether it starts inside or outside of the selected symbol Thanks in advance for any help

@Hi, I need to export a flash cs6 file to mov format. But when I try to do so I get a message saying "Could not complete operation because of an unknown error". I never had this issue before, and was doing this process for couple of months with out any difficulties. Can someone help me?

I´m having some brushes that I draw with in Photoshop/Procreate and wanted to get them to Animate too, but I couldnt figure out how. Tried uploading it to the Library but I just ended up confused. Those brushes are .abr files. 

I created a complex flash training program over 10 years ago with FlashMX and AS2. I have been asked to recreate a similiar project and would like to use my original assets to develop a new project. Should I convert to html5 animations or can I convert animations to videos?  I want to beable to customize and edit my old animations into the new content. 

I am having trouble exporting my short animation- everytime I try the swf file comes out as blankWhat could I be doing wrong?CThanks for your help

Hi; I need to hide a layer while an animation is running and show it when the animation is stopped or prior to it beginning (frame 1). Is there a way to do this? Thanks;jjfjr 

Is Animate suitable for game development?  If so what scripting language is recommended?  I've been charged with converting Flash games - a matching game, quiz game and a drag and drop frame - to HTML and I don't know where to start? Any hints?

Hello, so I recently bought and recieved a Wacom One trawing tablet, and I wanted to use it to speed along my work for my animation final, but for some reason when ever I tap the screen to start drawing it treats it as a right click,whether I make a line motion or simply tap it, it behaves this way. It works perfectly fine in photoshop, and it has this weird zoom in on clip paint studio, it occasionally causes me to scroll up on animate when the pen nears the screen, how can I fix these?

Hi all! I have used Auto Lip Sync to create my animation for the mouth. However, I can't figure out how to create a smooth transition between each lip frame. I can do this when drawing basic shapes/frames with the create shape tween. However I can't seem to do this after lip sync, the option is greyed out.  Any help on how to create  smoother trasition between frames is much appriciated! ThanksBen
