I must be doing something dumb. I ran the script debugger.jsx by double clicking on the script in the windows explorer (from the photoshop javascript samples) and it worked fine, opening the ESTK and breaking on the debugger statement. I then changed the directive #target photoshop to #target bridge, resaved the script as BridgeDebugger.jsx and then tried to run it. Nothing happens. I also have tried inserting breakpoints in the ESTK for scripts that are in the startup folder and execute from the bridge menu. The breakpoints do not work, and the debugger statement does not work. I have made sure to include the statements $.level = 2; debugger; Bridge was open at the time. CS2, Windows XP TIA Rory
I have a power PC G4 Dual 450MHz running 10.3.9 768 MB SDRAM I have sent an e-mail to feedback and made a phone call to Adobe(that was a real experience!!!) to ask about an issue I have with CS2. I still haven't gotten an answer that works, so I thought I would go right to the TOP. I have a Minolta DiMage 7. When I take "jpeg" photos and download them into the computer the extension that comes up is JPE. In CS I had no problem with them opening in the browser. I recently upgraded to CS2 and upgraded camera raw plug-in also. However when I open bridge to view the thumbnails the photos with the JPE extension will not open. They will open OK in photohsop, just not in bridge. I have tried changing the extension on the photos while in bridge to.jpeg and .jpg but that doesn't seem to do the trick. I have tried changing the extension in the file on the hard drive. That doesn't work either. Needless to say this is a real problem for me when using CS2. I still have CS that I can use, but that
Hi everyone ! http://www.jkozniewski.com/tools/CSUIB_2.0a.zip So, after 2 months of sleeping for 4h/day... After almost 3000 lines of ActionScript code... Finally there is alpha version of CSUIB the second This time it's stand alone app with support for CS2 JS GUI, ability to save and open your projects (as most of you asked for this feature) And much more! But there is still so much to do... So, as always I'm opened for your feedback and, what's more, your comments and requests are essential for further development of this app. Regards, Jakub Kozniewski.
How can I generate a preview of my old InDesign CS Files in the Bridge automatically without having to open them manually and save them again? Is there a possibility to script the Bridge and let it open my InDesign files and overwrite it generating a preview of it? Best from Germany, Andy
Where can I find the StartupScripts Folder for Bridge in the German localized Version of CS2? Best Andy
I believe it's possible to create a script to allow searching of multiple drives and, or adding images from multiple sources into collections which remain intact rather like those in iphoto? image albums rather than just volatile saved searches or duplicates of images in new locations. Ihave thousands of images across several drives and was really hoping that bridge would be the magic solution. bob from adobe scripting sugested a posting here to see if anyone could make this work, as this degree of programing is way out of my league:)
I would like to rename photos through Import Camera with the Exif Date in the following format YYYYMMDD without the time. Is there a way to do that?
Sure would be nice to have a script listener plug-in for the Bridge. Is there one available? Larry
Hi, I am trying to write a script that, simply enough, tells Bridge to show Graphic Files Only, and to Show 1 or More Stars. I can get the menu elements with MenuElement.find('FilterGraphicFiles'), but cannot figure out how to act on this. Please help. Thanks
I'm working on a Bridge script to copy files from my card reader into a directory structure based on EXIF data. It works (most of the time), but the progress dialog never repaints correctly, and sometimes the progress dialog and the Bridge window go completely white until the script is finished. I'm using the progressDialog object from AdobeLibrary1.jsx. When it doesn't go white, the status text and progress bar are updated properly, but the window background is never painted. I've tried window.show() and document.refresh() with no effect. Is there something else I should try? Thanks. Henry
I have followed the install instructions and the script does not show up in the Edit menu. I am using v 1.0.1 PS CS 2.
