Hi, I am having trouble creating contact sheets from images selected in Bridge. Contact Sheet II menu opens but shows no images selected in Bridge when they clearly are. Other automation functions seem to be suffering from the same problem. Bridge slected images are notbeing detected. My account shows i am using current updated versions of both Photoshop and Bridge. Any insight much apprecaited!

Adobe Bridge 14.0.0.102 Hallo,ich möchte in einem Workflow das Seitenverhältnis eines Bildes ändern.Das Originalbild ist 3000x2000 px groß. Dieses soll auf 2400x1800 px verkleinert/beschnitten werden.Im Workflow habe ich bei "Größe ändern in" "Füllen" ausgewählt, bei Breite "2400 Pixel" und bei Höhe "1800 Pixel" eingetragen. (Screenshot 1)Das Vorschaubild sieht leer aus. (Screenshot 2)In Photoshop besteht die Datei nur aus einem 1 Pixel breiten senkrechten Strich. (Screenshoot 3)Das selbe Ergebnis habe ich auch, bei gleichen Einstellungen, beim Exportieren.Was kann ich tun? 

After importing images using Bridge I receive a message stating 'Maximum Tabs Open'. Not sure why and what it means. Help/Advice please.

Hi guys, reading the What's new popping up, I expected that to be better as in older versions but it isn't.In media res:Can I activated that to be shown permanently? Couldn't find anything in the Bride settings. If there is a shortcut, why it isn't mentioned?If there is no star rating, colour labels are randomly shown in fullscreenColour labels of LrC and Bridge still do not match. Instead of having values "behind the scenes" colour lables are by default in LrC Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, whereas in Bridge they are by default called Rejected, Review, Approved, Second, To Do. They are used literally, so if you work in LrC and Bridge as I do, that never matches. - The problem: they only can be changed in the Bridge settings but nowhere in LrC. I opened a folder in Bridge this afternoon.  I was working in the same folder literally yesterday.  Bridge had forgotten all of the thumbnails.  There are 1100 items in that folder, all psd's.  It took Bridge 27 minutes to RE-generate the thumbnails. Meanwhile, I can't do anything in that folder - even on the files that Bridge has RE-generated the thumbnails because the files are jumping around all over.  I have no chance of finding a file and opening it in PS. I minized the thumbnails in the Content window to as tiny as they would go to help speed up RE-generation - it didn't help. My Bridge cache is 50GB.  I don't keep 100% previews in cache.  I had only been in one other folder since opening this one. And people wonder why Bridge has such a reputation for wasting people's time.

I'm working on Win7 64b. Bridge CC 2017For some odd reason, when I click on the "get photos from camera" button, it does nothing. No hourglass, nothing.  I uninstalled, keeping settings, and reinstalled and it works the first time. On subsequent tries, nothing.

Hello, In Bridge 2024, none of my Smart Collections are working. They seem to have lost all settings, would really like to not have to rebuild these. Is there a way to re-migrate them or something? Still using 2023 thankfully they are still working. When I go to edit Smart Collection to try and fix, they are all set on current folder and the search criteria is blank. All other settings seemed to migrate over fine in Bridge.I saw other posts about including idex and non-indexed but that isnt my issue, the regular collections are working just fine. Make sense? Running Monterey 12.4 

After automatic Creative Cloud updates this weekend I can not open Camera Raw from Adobe Bridge. I can open Camera Raw from Photoshop. I have shut everything down opened Photoshop and Lightroom then opened Bridge and still the same thing. I tried reloading Adobe Bridge 14.0.0102 and got the same error. I even uploaded an older version and recieved the same error code as in the title. What next? This reall screws up my workflow and Re installing Photoshop would be a mess trying to get all my plugins back.

After Bridge 2023 was installed, it worked for a few hours and then I got the message, "Unknown error quitting application".    I have no other option than to hit "ok" and then Bridge is closed.  This goes on and on.  Lightroom Classic quit working in July 2022.  I have no access to my photographs.

Once again Adobe does not dissappoint: Upon updating Bridge 2023 it now just freezes and I can't even browse any folders at all SO we decided to (begrudgingly) install 2024 with all the "new improvements". Did that help, survey says???: Of course not. What were we thinking? Now we are just staring at a blue rotating circle for the past 7 minutes on a UI with a transparent white film over it (CRASH).  So our question over the past 20+ years is still this: Adobe WHAT IS YOUR MAJOR MALFUNCTION?!!! It's like your contracting a bunch of second graders to work on apps that hundreds of thousands of creatives use to (help) earn their living.  We've yet to see any Adobe update succesfully drop without any major bugs. HERE'S OUR (seasoned) SUGESSTION: Try using some of your fancy AI (nonsense) your importing into your apps to actually debug your (garbage) code and stop depending on users to do it for you AND get your %#*t together. Bonjour, je n'ai plus l'affichage de mes dossiers lorsque je vais sur un disque dur externe, et meme je n'ai plus d'affichage de mes dossiers quand je vais Bureau , j'ai un petit rond qui mouline en bas à gauche, et il ne se passe rien, depuis la nouvelle version , je ne rouve pas la solution , pouvez vous m'aider , merci beaucoup,Christophe

With Bridge 2022, I could plug in my camera, and Windows Autoplay would open the Bridge Photodownloader.  With two clicks from there I could download all my photos, delete them from the camera, and open bridge to view them. With Bridge 2023 this will not work.  I can still open photo downloader from "File -> Get Photos From Camera", and it still works the same when I open it, but I can't get it to auto-run anymore.  Even if I change the Windows Autoplay settings back to "Ask me every time" for plugging in the Camera, when I click "Download Images (Adobe Bridge 2023)" nothing at all happens. I can't seem to downgrade to the 2022 version of bridge either as a free user, which means I can't go back to the old version that just worked for this.  If anyone has any thoughts on how to get this working again, or how to downrgade to bridge 2022 with the free version, I would love to hear from you.

Hi there!My Bridge Search is not working. No files are found, unless I open the folders in the Bridge directory first. I have hundreds of folders in my Bridge directory and this would take me hours before I can apply one search for one keyword! I work on a Mac, my colleague on Windows and she doesn't experience this problem! Bridge for me is useless now!Does anyone know how to deal with this?THANKS!

For some reason I recently have to purge the Bridge cache after saving a jpg image.  Every time, not just once in a while.  I've tried making sure the Bridge preferences are as recommended, but that hasn't helped.  Are the jpg's too large?  And how should I limit their size? Thanks,Bruce

The newly downloaded Bridge (Beta) works correctly for selecting Preferences.The Camera Raw preferences drop down shows the frame but all the places where preferences should appear are blank.There is nothing in the boxes and nothing can be entered.  Sonoma 14 (beta)

I've been using Adobe for quite a few years and generally it's great. However, I shoot a lot of 3 frame auto exposure bracketed images. Normally in Bridge I select the three images, right click and select "Open in Camera Raw". In the latest software releases ( Bridge 14.0.0.102 ) this still functions but when you click the "Open" button in ACR it doesn't open the .dng file in Photoshop. It does create it and if it's selcted it will open in ACR and the "Open" button transfers it into Photoshop. A severe time waster - especially when trying to process images to be sent to the newspapers ! Instead of selecting "Open in Camer Raw" from within Bridge, if you select "Open With"and select Photoshop 2024 the process appears to be the same but it does open the image directly in Photoshop just like it used to do. I found this workaound quite by accident on another community posting but I thought I'd add it here in order to save some other poor bugger's frustration. I went to the file extensions manager and I do not have the option to select photoshop from the dropdown menu. I am confronted with a "browse" option which basicallly opens up file explorer. I CANNOT FIND PHOTOSHOP IN THE ADOBE FOLDER. It is installed [version 22.2] SO WHERE THE HELL IS IT????????????????? However, I should not have to root around the programs file. It should be available as a menu item so I do not have to do this. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. If the problem is that it does not work with my old photoshop why give us the option to roll back. And why upgrade bridge so it can just come along and wreck everything for the umpteenth time. I should mention that I have adobe running on two machines. My desktop has the latest stuff and it tends to work there on a Nvideo 3080 graphics card (although I have not tried Bridge to see if it is opening in Lightroom). However, running the latest photoshop on the laptop was buggy and freezing and crash

 

Hi!A strange bug occcurs in Bridge when moving (raw/cr3) files from one folder to another. The xmp data stays left behind in the old folder.  So I placed all the photos of a shoot in a folder called "originals". I opened all of them in RAW editor where I made a selection by labeling and applied a few basic corrections to this selection. After clicking "ready" in the Raw editor the photos are updated in Bridge, the labels and corrections I applied are displayed correctly. Then I move the selected files to another folder but there all labels and corrections are gone. When I check the folders in File Explorer I see the .xmp files containing the metadata are still in the old folder. How can I fix this bug?Thanks, Juri

BonjourDepuis la dernière mise à jour BRIDGE fonctionne très mal : lenteur dans l'affichage des vignettes, blocages et fermeture. Mon PC revient de réparation, mon disque dur de travail est changé...effectivement il y a du mieux sur PHOTOSHOP mais BRIDGE répond toujours aussi mal. Suis-je la seule à avoir ce bug ?Merci

I have Bridge 2020, version 10.1.1 on my Macbook Air running Mojave. I would like to download and install the latest version of Bridge without overwriting the version I have, so that I can be sure I am happy with the new version.When I go to Creative Cloud - All Apps - Bridge 2020 is listed and against it it says 'Update'. I don't see any option to keep this version and no link to the newest version.Please can I have some guidance on this, thanks.

On Mac OS 12.0.1 Apple Silicon, Bridge is failing to generate thumbnails for any PSD larger than 1GB. Also, Export hangs on these same PSD files and never progresses (no error message, just hangs... and then Export is broken until quitting and re-opening Bridge). Any fix for this? Bridge v 12.0.0.234
