Question

Since Camera Raw 18.4.1/18.5.0, a pop-up appears stating that my GPU is no longer supported when opening in Photoshop. I have to revert to 18.4.0. How can I resolve this on recent versions? Windows 10 22H2, RTX 3070, i9-9900K, drivers are up to date.

This is the kind of message I get from version 18.4.1 to version 18.5.0 when I launch the module from Photoshop.

I don’t have  a solution for you, but have been having the exact same issue since 18.4.1 as well. (RTX 4070).  Photoshop and Lightroom have no issues with my GPU, but ACR gives the errors you’ve outlined.  I have tried over and over many solutions, including those in the following link, but including it as it may help you.

I had already consulted that page as well. But it didn't really help. I tried everything it suggested, even resetting the GPU from the CameraRAW preferences. But without success. I even deleted the GPU folder in "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw", but there was no noticeable difference. I'm using the latest NVIDIA Studio driver for my card, version 610.88. I even tried with "DisableGPUInference.txt" but there was no difference either.

I have completely cleaned and installed about 4 different studio drivers, even going back to one over a year old. I have completely wiped everything Adobe off of the machine, reinstalled it all, and still ACR refuses the GPU while PS/LR (And every other app) etc work fine.  I’ve done all the GPU reset stuff usually outlined for the Camera Raw folder.  Last night I uninstalled Photoshop/ACR again, and installed the old ACR - 14.5. The GPU worked with that.  Updated it to 18.5 and back to GPU not working.  I’m starting to run out of ideas. Been at this since July 20th.

    Also, everything is activated here.

But here's another message when I go into Camera RAW performance

It's disabled. How can I fix this?
