Hi all!! I have programmed some of my slides to where the user has to click on actions and then the playbar appears (It is hidden until then). However, When the playbar does appear, it covers the bottom portioin of the slide. Has this happened to anyone else? any suggestions? It is covering words on some slides... Thanks!!!

Hello all,Very basic knowledge on Adobe products so please bare with me!. We have deployed Adobe Captivate v8 to our users for testing and when they try to take a PPTX file and turn it into an interactive e-learning lesson it fails with the message:"Cannot import the selected file. Refer to the documentation to ensure that you have installed the correct version of microsoft office"We have Microsoft Office 2010 SP2 (x86) installed before we installed Adobe Captivate 8. We have tested and this works if the user uses a PPT file (2003 / 2007 Compatible file) which is a workaround but not ideal as they then lose the 2010 functionality!.Can someone confirm that Captivate 8 supports Office 2010, or is this exactly why we are experiencing this issue? Does V9 support Office 2010 if this is the case as if a patch doesnt resolve this issue then we may need to recommend to the customer to go with V9 of the product. Recently upgraded from Captivate 8 to 2019 (release 11.0.1.266). When I create a simple course with scorm, it will not load when published in the LMS. I just get the loading circle. My problem is similar to this thread https://community.adobe.com/t5/captivate/captivate-2019-courses-will-not-load-in-captivate-prime/m-p/10126991#M265217 and I think I've tried everything suggested here, but it's not helping. I've tried different browsers with no difference.

Hi all!!The fluid box that I have seems to be cutting off the bottom of my text.. anybody have any ideas why? Thank you!!

We have these .swf files that are embedded in captivate that we need to redo to be HTML5 compliant.  I was wondeirng if we video'd the current .swf in action could be build interactions to simulate what was done in the original .swf files?Thank you,Susan 

Dear community,   I have a particular question. I used Adobe Captivate Trial to make a couple of quizzes. At this moment our company has the official license but installed it on another computer. I have a specific question about those exported files I made in the trial version: will they still work after the trial version is ended?   It is quite some extra work the re-zip and upload everything. But I want to be sure if the software doesn't terminate itself within a few days. So I hope someone can help to clarify this.   Thank you for your time.

...Hello Captivaters !...I have noticed that since the lastest release of Captivate (11.5.1.499), there's a problem with Text Entry Box (TEB).When I preview my project in html5, and clicked in the TEB to enter a response, that's what happened :I checked all the options but can't find the solution... and so I need some help !...(I've created another blank project, just put a TEB in it and the same thing happened... )Thanks in advance !...😉...

Hello,  I am creating a course for my final grad school project. In order for my focus group to sign into my completed course, will they have to download Adobe Captivate, or will they be able to sign into the course through generate URL?

I'm creating a course with CP 2019 that will have 4 modules, each a separate CP file. The published output will be HTML5, non-responsive, and will be accessed from a Chrome web page (rather than an LMS). I'm going to put links in some of the modules that open other modules in the course. Is there a way to create a link that can open a module in a separate window/tab and jump to a particular slide or section in that module? I learned that I can put a search parameter on the end of the calling link (e.g something like index.html?slide=10) and then have Javascript functions built into the other modules that check the incoming link for such data and act on it. I don't have any more information about how to set that up. Can anyone point me to or explain how to do this, or suggest a different method? 

This happens when viewing the course from an iPhone (XR): The course begins with a slide with audio and images that when finished automatically moves to the next slide, and instead of moving to the next slide returns to the beginning of the course.I also tried to switch to the slide with a button instead of automatically but the error remains: the course starts from the beginning instead of advancing. Making several publications, in one of them, the slide goes automatically to the next one, but pressing any button (with advanced actions) most of the time it fails and takes me back to the beginning of the course. If anyone has any idea why this is happening on the iPhone I would appreciate your help. I've tried both Safari and Chrome. I publish in scalable HTML5. Thank you very much.

I continue to receive this error when attempting to install Adove Captivate 2017 on my Windows 64 computer. Adobe recommends to "check permission on adobetemp folder located at [Win] <system drive>/adobetemp", but when I type that syntax into the command prompt it says, "The system cannot find the file specified."  I've tried uninstalling everything and starting over and restarting my computer. Any suggestions? 

How can I allow my users to review course content after the quiz is marked completed.   Example:  User has completed the course and would like to go back in to review the content on a later day.  Is this possible?   Ive been told no - however I am new to captivate and that answer just doesnt sit well with me.  

I am on a MacBook Pro running Catalina 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i716 GB 1600 MHz DDR3Intel Iris Pro 1536 MBAPVE 2017 Ver. 12.0.2.170I created video in APVE and in the software it plays back fine inside the software edit suite but the exported version that appears in my Blackboard Pop-Up window does not sync the audio properly. The audio is audibly slowed down and loses sync with the Powerpoint visuals. I have created other videos using the same export import methodology and they seem to work fine.Any thoughts?

I have created a drag-and-drop interaction on a slide, and when I preview it in html5, the targets are misaligned. If I drop a shape directly on its intended target, it snaps back to its original position. In order to get the shape to land on its target, I have to drop it just to the left of the target. If I drop it to the left, it snaps onto the center of the target, right where I initially tried to drop it! Obviously, this would be aggrivating for users and look unprofessional, but worse, my targets are lined up in a row, so having to drop an object to the left of its intended target means having to drop it on the adjacent incorrect target in order to get it to land on the correct one.  Any idea why it's doing this or how to correct it? Many thanks!-BSR-

Bizarrely, the Video Express software was working fine for me today on Catalina and, all of a sudden, it stopped doing so. I rebooted but it doesn't even launch. I tried re-downloading the English Mac version but it will not install because it is only 32 bit. Why it worked for a while and stopped is a mystery. There doesn't appear to be a Mac 64 bit version on the download site. Are there plans to release one?

Hello, I`ve just downloaded Adobe Presenter Video Express 2017 from the adobe site, I can`t install this software because the requirements are not met...It says 32 bit OS is required, I`m running 64 bit OSHow can I install the program?

I built a responsive drag-and-drop interaction with fluid boxes. When I publish or preview, strange little button appears in lower bottom corner. How to get rid of it? It doesn't do anything usefull AFAIK. This is the button that I'm talking about:

We customized the look of the success and failure captions in our Captivate slides; however, we are unable to determine how to customize the text within the smart shapes. Is there a way to change the default text in the success and failure smart shapes? Thank you

View the output but scale the browser beyond the development dimensions. The variables and CC disappear. Does anyone know of a real fix/workaround for this?

Hello everyone,I have an issue with Drag and Drop interactions. When answering a DnD with multiple attempts correctly, the submit button disappears when submiting but reapears after less than a second. This only happens if the DnD has more than 1 attempt and only if it’s answered correctly. If a DnD has only 1 attempt or the answer is incorrect the submit button disappears as it should. When previewing the course the bug is not visible, it only appears when published or previewed HTML5 in Browser (and no, publishing with Flash in 2020 is not an acceptable option…).Has anyone ever experienced something familiar and has any suggestion how to fix it?I attached a screenshot where the error also occurs.

I have noticed that some buttons in my course needs to be double clicked when running the course.I have attached the code and the timeline if that could help.The marked button in the timeline are inside a group. All the other buttons in the group workes fine. Its just this with a If Else action that need 2 or 3 clicks to work.
