Hi,I have a drag and drop slide with 3 drop targets and 1 drag object with one attempt set. Now I want to hide a submit button until a drag object is dropped in any of the three drop targets to avoid empty submission, unfortunately default submit button has no id which I can use to hide. I have tried to refer similar issues in the forum and I saw another idea of making another button and put on top, when I tried this I came to notice that the button is still clickable even when is behind another button. Any help please..

When viewing content in Chrome either previewing or as a published package, even a one slide project with nothing on it, basically any interaction (mouse hover, click) causes loads of "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token o in JSON at position 1" errors relating to some eval code in CPXHRLoader.js. It is not uncommon to have hundreds of these on just one page on projects that have lots of elements on screen!As far as I can tell, these console errors don't occur in IE11, Edge, or Firefox, but it's concerning to open the Chrome console and see an error count in the hundreds...Anyone else experiencing this stuff? Does it affect anything with regard to performance at the end of the day?

Using Captivate 2019 and Acrobat Reader DC v11 and 12.When we publish our Captivate eLearning project (SWF), we routinely export the PDF and send to reviewers. With the 2019 version, Reader DC displays an error about 3D not being enabled. We try to enable it in Reader but it still will not open.Can 3D capability be turned off in the published Captivate project?

Hello, I've created a Word Search in Captivate with 7 questions. No matter what I do, the answer clues are cut off, and the user is unable to see the full list of questions when scrolling. I've tried shorter questions, removing questions, changing the text size, changing the puzzle size, different templates, checking and unchecking the "scale text for responsive projects" option.Thanks for your help! Hello, HELP! We have been using captivate to simulate medical software workflows for 2 years successfully. We have recently ventured into the idea of using projects to test end users workflows (performance based exams). We are using different variables to count correct and incorrect clicks. Each time we run through the simulation we are getting different results (counts). 50% of the time we reach the expected outcome, the other 50% it is incorrect, and out of those wrong outcomes , the same scenario being tested is producing different results. We have checked the advanced actions and variables multiple times for accuracy. we are at a wits end! We are assuming that there is something broken with captivate itself because our logic seems to be flawless. Does anyone have any experience with this type of logic? Thank you. 

I am testing Captivate to see if it meets my needs. The goal is simple:10 minute video mp4 I need to pause the video, show some text and two buttons which will skip some sections, go to another project, assign variables etc. The second part is simple. Trying the best way to accomplish the first one: pause the video when I show an object. I tried with a button and say 'pause untill a user clicks' but that allows a user to click somewhere else and 'skip'. I would prefer no overlay slides as they blurr the background. What is the easiest way guys? I used to use Opus Creator which is way more sophisticated and allowed me to assign actions to all objects when they SHOW. Is it possible here please?

I am trying to create quiz questions with custom feedback and three attempts.  I set the attempts to three and added customized feedback using the Advanced Answer Options.  The problem is that after the first attempt the slide continues to the next one.  If I change the Action to No Action or Pause, the slide will never advance if the user gets it wrong after three attempts.  What are the correct action settings to make this work?  I can supply a test file if necessary.Thanks,Andrew

Hello Everyone !  I guess I have a bug with a drag and drop exercice in my captivate file. When I give the good answer and click on the "validate" button all the proposals come back to their initial place and I'm not able to go to the "Good Answer" slide.  Anyone has an idea ?  Thanks in advace for your help !

Hi there, Whenever I preview the exact slide a puzzle interaction is on the timer and image are displayed on the page. If I preview my entire project the puzzle interaction is zoomed which obscures the timer. Is there any reason behind this that anyone can think of? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your help, I correct the images Because none of the 2 images becomes a button, check and nothing.I need the brain to jump to slide 2 and the heart to 3.the brain is png image and the heart jpg 

So in an example, the # of correct items (via COUNT # <- Accepted Drag Sources <- [Object Actions] is limited to 4, and "on accept" is REPLACE)... So that, when you add correct draggable #5,..(1) the 5th item it put next to the 4th, and(2) the 1st is moved -back- to its starting position- so you can only have 4 correct items in the drop target at the time..  My Question: Is there a USE CASE for this? Thanks!

I have recorded a video demonstration. Down the bottom I have helpful text appear in a smartshape and i'm hoping the shape can fly in from the left (or fade if only option) so that the users attention is better drawn to it (and just to make it look more schmick).

Hi guys, hope you can help me. I have a captivate source file with a kind of bug I'm not able to solve. I can see the player perfectly in preview mode but as soon as I publish my project, the player button dissapears and I just can see the bar moving! Any ideas? Thanks in advance. 🙂

Hello, I am new to using Adobe Captivate and am working on a project. I have set my knowledge check question to hae a success message appear. The user then has to click 'y' to continue.  This works fine. However, when I try to apply the same logic to my drag and drop question it does not work. It jumps straight to the page. Upon success of the drag and drop I would like a success message to come up and would like my user to have to press 'y' to jump the page I want it to go to.  I have used a tutorial to try and fix it but it is still not working. Any one out on the community there to help me?  Thanks!  

Hello! -Is there a way, to prevent the score from being send to the LMS at all, but to still be able to create a results page?  I am running into some issues, for which an expert might have the answer for grasps... So far I haven't found it on the forums though and I hope someone knows the answer.  For a certain project, the final score can only be 0, untill the learner passes the quiz for which he will be granted 100 points. The issue however, is that the quiz consists of 4 modules with randomized questions and after each question, a sub-score is send to the LMS (which is not allowed). To make things slightly more complicated, the user needs to answer 7 out of 8 questions correctly to pass and should then also be rewarded with a 100% score. Is there a way, to prevent the score from being send to the LMS at all? Hi, I had a problem with an mp4 event video playing on desktop but not on mobile. It took me several hours of testing to isolate the problem, so I wanted to share what I found here in case other people run into the same issue. Here's where the problem occurred: My application has multiple event video screens. The first video played properly on both desktop and mobile. However, the second video only played on desktop, but on mobile, tapping the play button would just select the entire screen and not play the video. Screen details:First video screen (3 objects): event video, button (back), button (next); On Enter: PauseSecond video screen (2 objects): event video, button (done); On Enter: Pause Solution: The only way I could get the second video to play on mobile was to rearrange the order of the buttons and video objects on each screen.
