I built my project in Cp 2019. when I do the preview, it plays the slide and background audio but no visuals. Please assist?

I'm importing a PowerPoint to Captivate, and the PowerPoint has animated drawing that I did while rehearsing the slides.  The drawings show up in the filmstrip view of the slide, but when I play the slide - both in the editor and when I export it - the ink doesn't show up.  Is there a setting I'm missing?  Screenshot below showing that I've scrubbed the head all the way to the end with no ink appearing, but the filmstrip preview shows it as it should be at the end of the slide

Great widget CpExtra from Infosemantics does not fire videoended when viewed on mobile devices. Everything is OK on desktop.Is there a solution or workaround for this problem?Rod or Tristan could you help please.Many thanks on advance...By the way it was prepared on cp 9

I am trying to find the downloaded eLearning assets files. I am using Windows 10. I have a folder called Adobe eLearning Assets, but it does not have a Sample Projects folder and does not contain anything I've downloaded. I have searched all over my computer, but have not found a "Sample Projects" folder anywhere associated with Adobe or Captivate. I can download assets, but it doesn't show the path so I don't know where they are going.

Hello, at the moment I'm learning to use the Adobe Captivate program, I found a very powerful tool, at the moment I have the demo version. When I try to create a project or a 3D or 360 presentation, I don't have the option to add the corresponding image, the presentation simply appears blank and you don't have the option to add the image.I would like to know if this is due to I have the demo version of the program, if not, if any of you have a possible solution I would appreciate if you could share it with me.Thank you very much. 

Hello, I have recently been looking at storyboarding for courses, so obviously Adobe Draft came up. Has anyone used this succesfully? Ive looked at it but cant see how it would be any better than using a Word or PPT doc? Ive watched a few videos on it, but it seems to look great for really simple projects, but would be almost useless for anything above a Level 1 course design. How would you address; slide notes, audio/video instructions and development, programming notes, reviewer comments..? How would this application be better than a Word doc? Can anyone help me understand how Adobe Draft would be useful?  Thank you.

I am trying to figure out how this quiz was built. It has customized correct/incorrect feedback. I don't see the feedback info on the Captivate canvas.

Thanks 🙂 So far all I can determine is that you have to manually rekey the names in one at a time, per object, PROPERTIES. It would be nice to be able to add a "slide1_" to the start of each name with an autofill feature or something that does this for you.   The best hack I could figure out with my growing skillset was to put the Timeline next to the Properties editing menu but there could be an easier way to do this... Your assist is appreciated. ~Newb

I am using NVDA to test the accessibility of a training module created using Captivate 2019. On one (only one) of the multiple-choice quiz answers, the screen reader reads about half of the answer, then stops (and says "radio button not checked 1 of 4"). The screen reader successfully reads many other longer answers. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Hola, en el momento estoy aprendiendo a usar el programa de Adobe Captivate, me ha parecido una herramienta muy poderosa, por el momento tengo la versión demo. Al intentar crear un proyecto o una presentación en 3D o 360, no me aparece la opción para poder agregar la imagen correspondiente, la presentación simplemente aparece en blanco y no tiene disponible la opción para agregar la imagen.Quisiera saber si esto se debe a tengo la versión demo del programa, de no ser así, si alguno de ustedes tiene una posible solución le agradeceria que me la pueda compartir.Muchas gracias.

I have mutliple event videos included in a Captivate 2019 project.Each of the videos has been edited and trimmed - then coded as H254 using Adobe Media Encoder.When the project is previewed and/or published the video continue to loop - not stopping at the designated end.In the properties for the video, the loop feature is NOT checked.How do I resolve this issue?I need each video to stop at the designated end so the learner can advance to the next slide for a knowledge check.

I realize this is some what of a tangentical issue, but does anyone use an open source LMS for testing locally? If so which one?I know I can upload to SCORMCloud, but trying to see if there is a more efficient method to test locally. I am trying to test things like reading the resume data and such and if I can do it all on my local machine it would help speed things up. Thanks!

I'm using captivate to build 360 tours of several small apartments, and for the most part I'll be making a ton of modules that follow the exact same 3-room format.  There will be three 360 images for the rooms with hotpots that occur at more or less the same places for the same features.  My plan so far has been to create a master template with my hotspots pre-loaded so that I essentially upload 360 background images and then quickly place and assign pictures to each hotspot (sink closeup, shower closeup, etc.).  To make things easier, I was wondering if there were a way to create a master template that would automatically import images based on some property assigned to a file, like the file name. An applied dream-example might look like this: I import the background images, but I can add a folder to the library with files named "sink.jpg" and "shower.jpg" and the hotspots automatically retrieve the files and import them to the correct spot. Another possibilit

Hello I keep having a lot of issues wih iphone and overlay slides. My project is one slide with a vimeo video and then overlay slides. The idea is that the video will stop, go to an overlay with a knowlage check, and then when they pick the right answer it continues the video. This works on my computer, on my andriod but of course not my clients iphone. If jumps to the overlay too early on some and right on on otheres. Been having a lot of weird issues with inconsitent bugs like this to the point that I'm considering a new platform. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know how to put a button on the screen that allows a learner to jump to a slide that is not immediately preceeding or following the current slide, but I want to keep all of my navigation in the player.  How do I set the arrows in the player to jump to a certain slide when clicked, as opposed to only going to the next slide or previous?  I have a branching portion in my current presentation and using the player arrows can cause the user to see slides not meant for them.  I know I can hide the playbar and arrow, but I'm hoping there's an option to instead alter how those player buttons function. Thanks.

Is Adobe planning to connect Amazon Polly in Captivate and / or add more French voice? to offer more voices. There is only one French female voice in Captivate that comes from NeoSpeech and it is not terrible, I ask for more voices from NeoSpeech and the prices are ridiculous. I call NeoSpeech to get a price and there price for me was more then $ 6000 US for 2 voices for one year license.

Hi - I have just downloaded version 11.5.1 on a new laptop and wanted to test some of the fucntions. I opted to publish to a folder like this: C:\Users\User with the Title "Shift Hand-over" (it is a work doc)  On publishing I get the following message - Notes: I am the Administrator , Windows 10 pre-installed on the machine and here is a screen shot of the "user'' folder permissions -This issue has prevailed, yet when I publish to Video on the same folder (the "user" folder), there are no issues.  

Hello,I'm having trouble importing the captions into my quizzes. I have no problems exporting them, but once I make the translation changes and import it back into Captivate, from Word, Captivate reads "0 items have been imported" Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

Hi. I have created D&D activity. The requirement is that users should be able to move their choices around from one location to another prior to hitting the submit button. I selected Replace option in Accepted Drag Sources. When we checked in HTML output it is observed that the drag object becomes invisible after certain instances of replacing when dropped on target. So for time being I have kept Go Back option.I have used custom Submit button. It has 2 attempts. It has 2 different incorrect feedbacks. For that I created 2 slides. On first incorrect Reset button appears. On clicking Reset button (custom button) user jumps to next slide. On incorrect attepmt it displays another incorrect feedback. I have duplicated the slide before implementing D&D functionality.  Can you please let me know what could be the problem.    Thanks in Advance.

I'm using Captivate 11.5.1.I created a VR project and attached a video to one Hotspot. The video plays fine, but after the video ends, or if I close the video in the middle of playing, all hotspots on that slide dissappear.Is this a bug?Thank you.

When I publish (HTML5) a project from CP 2017 the HTML is not starting automaticallyI need to click a play button, displayed in the center of the first screen. I know there are already more post on this topic.But I never had this problem on my windows 7 laptop with CP 2017 installed.I recently moved over to a new laptop with Windows 10 and installed CP 2017 from scratch.Now I encounter this problem.I still have my ould laptop running.When I publish on that one, auto play works fine.When I publish the same project on my new laptop, I need to click play first.So there must be a setting somewhere that solves this issue.For now I edit the HTML file and enter the line "cp.movie.play();" as a work around.

Hello, I want to import a Powerpoint presentation into Captivate on my MacBook. Everything seems to work normal, but the presentation is not rendered correctly by Captivate: it seems that the text is enlarged so that it shifts and the layout is no longer correct. On Windows, importing with the same presentation works fine. What could be a solution?

Hello,I really need help.I've tried and tried and tried a lot of possibilies for publishing SCORM from Captivate to SABA LMS Plateform.I have found a way to publish a CPTX compatible with SABA when the navigator used is CHROME or EDGE. The completion mark is ok.The problem is that my Company is using Internet Explorer by default. In that case, my SCORM don't open in SABA platform. It runs without being able to be openedSABA told me that it is either an issue about the way I publish it (please find enclosed the way we do it in HTML5, I also tried a tip find in another post just in case : "Try publishing to SCORM 2004 and set the option in Quiz > Reporting > LMS Advanced dialog > Set Exit to Normal After Competion.  Select that checkbox and republish before testing again in SABA" )My version of captivate is the newest one, uploaded today.I also join extract from an email from SABA, just in caseI precise that our CPTX were done with older versions of Captivate and rearr
