 Hello,I am trying to share an Adobe Captivate file on sharepoint.  The file uploads without a problem and I am able to view it but no one else on my team is able to see it they get the following error: Adobe Captivte could not open "filename" Ensure that: File is not open already File is not damagedThe hard dis  has sufficient available space The system has sufficient resources User are able to open my old files just not anything new.Thanks in Advanced  

Hi  I'm a new user and I may have bit off more than I can chew.  I created a lesson with 3 modules.  Each module ends with one more more quiz questions or a sulation that I use as a quiz.  My intent was that learners would choose a module, finish it and then go back to the TOC to choose another module and then after completing all modules, they would get their final quiz results.   I figured out how to get them back to the TOC at the end of the final question in each module by using the "Jump To Slide" in the actions section of the Quiz tab.  Where I'm stuck is how to get them to the quiz results.  I've been experimenting with using the submit buttons at the end of each quiz as a variable that when clicked would mark the quiz done, then using an advanced action to evaluate when the three quizzes are done jump to the quiz result slide.  But I cna't make the submit button a variable.  I've experimented with trying to setup a lin

...Hello Captivaters !...I just faced a problem... In one of my project, I have a slide with let's say 2 TEB (TEB1 and TEB2) and only one button to validate both of the answers. But there are 2 possible right answers for each of them (let's say A and B for TEB1 and C and D for TEB2)...So I try to validate the user entry using a conditional action :If TEB1 = A ANDIf TEB1 = B ORIf TEB2 = C ANDIf TEB2 = D OR=> Then it's correct...But it doesn't work as expected... even if I try to custom the validation (using OR or AND)...So I create a variable "v_score" and make 2 conditional actions :1./ If TEB1 = A ORIf TEB1 = B OR=> increment v_score by 12./ If TEB2= C ORIf TEB2 = D OR=> increment v_score by 1And I create a final conditional action :If v_score = 2=> Then it's correct !...But I'm wondering if there is a simpler way to do that ???...(I will try tomorrow - if I find the time - to explain this clearer with an example in the elearning community...)😉.

Hi,I'm currently working on an e-learning that must be delivered in 1 .sco file (Scorm 1.2) to the client. My problem is I need branching. Something quite simple but it's not possible to achieve with the scorm packager it seems. the idea is, I have 1 parent file and at a certain point the trainee will chose either scenario 1 or scenario 2. Those scenarios are capitvate files that are exported to Scorm. So usualy (without Scorm) I would just make a relative link to the index file of the dependant file in the parent file, but... it doesn't seem to work. And one more imprtant thing to notice is that the complete, not complete criteria should be attached to the scenarios and not the parent file.the scenarios alos contain testing, with results that should be reported back to the LMS.Help please?

I have added customize fast-forward button to my course and its working fine for slide animation, After clicking it will take 2x speed on next click it takes 4x speed and then Normal speed. My concern is can Audio be fast-forwarded with it without getting mute?

Hello,In Captivate 6 I create my projects with ''video demo'' option. After creating my projects i have a cpvc file. I want to publish this file/project to a mp4 video/file. I can see that when i try to publish the only options are Video- Apple and Youtube. Is there any possibility to publish my cpvc file to a mp4 file  Thanks in advance

Hi everyone,When I try to install Captivate 2017 I get Error Code 103.  The only help I can find for that code is "sorry, please try again."  After several attempts, I am still getting this error.Windows 10, 64-bitIntel i3-5005U CPU8 gig RAMWell over 100 gig free drive spaceNo version of Captivate has been previously installed on this computer.I have tried running the cleaner tool, rebooting and installing again but I still get Error Code 103.Any assistance is appreciated.

I just published a new course and kept all of the font/typekit integration info the same. The new course, when published, shows up correctly with Futura (not Futura PT, which I know is one of the Typekit fonts) on my machine. When I published the course, I saw the pop-up window indicating that Typekit Integration was working (see screengrab below). But when I was in QA with the client just now, the font appears to be a default serif, like Times New Roman. Nothing has changed on the client side. They still have the Futura font installed on their internal/shared drive. To try to troubleshoot, we opened up one of the earlier courses that we developed in the spring, and the font showed up correctly on the client side. I double-checked and all of the font information is exactly the same in both courses. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, y'all!

I'm using Captivate 11.5.1.Developing a VR project. After all questions are answered, and the last slide of the project is viewed, the Quiz Results slide won't show. 

Firefox and Edge browsers can display locally stored html5 Captivate output containing some 360 slides without any issues.  Chrome browser shows a black screen where 360 image or 360 video would be. Hotspots and text still shows. If project is hosted online as a scorm package on an LMS it displays fine.  But I need an offline solution that can play back from a local hard drive. We  need to use Chrome as it's the only browser our IT department issues.  Anyone aware of any browser settings in chrome that  may need adjusting? Using latest version of Captivate at time of posting. It's a non responsive scalable html5 project with normal slides and a few 360 slides.  Thanks.

Hi All, I've taken over an Adobe Captivate project from a colleague and am getting a strange result regarding SVG images. I have created a smart shape bottom and for testing when I rollover the state is changed to display an SVG tick. In the "State View" it appears correctly:and when I run the "Preview / HTML5 in Browser" is appears correctly as well:But when I run as "Preview / Next 5 slides or Prohect, etc." the SVG comes up incorrectly. Was wondering does anyone know why this is the case? Many thanksPhil. 

Hi all, I'm trying to publish an executable file for my responsive project. I understand this is available in previuos versions, but I can't find this function in 2017. Is this still avaialbe? FYI, I'm using Windows 10, if this helps.  Best,Diana 

Hello Captivate friends! I could use a little help with this one.  I'm on a network at my job and I'm trying to bring an image into my Captivate project.  I have a new laptop with a new install of Captivate and I'm getting the following error when I try to insert an image from a network folder:My drives are mapped and I can access the folders through other Adobe programs.  Any help is grately appreciated.

Hello I am using captivate 2019. Is it possible to create click to reveal interaction with audio for each tab/interactions in captivate 2019, and the custom buttons are used as a UI(Not captivate inbuilt skin). Detail scenario Slide contains base audio, and 4 clickable events each will apper after certain period of time once it will apper it should be clickable, after its click respective audio will start palying same for rest of the .

  Hi @9264381,Captivte exports a terrible sourcecode (HTML, CSS). I'm not familiar with that from Adobe, usually the auto generated HTML output of Adobe is excellent - at least with all programs of the Creative Cloud. In the case of Captivate, I can't confirm this impression.Does any of you know which selector specification is needed to address the active menu item in the TOC? Unfortunately Adobe does not use a class name like .active or similar. I hope someone can help me. Thank you very much, in any case, in advance for your effort. Greetings Dickes B.

I installed the characters to  C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Adobe. I can see the assets in the folders but when I try to access through Adobe, either from "My Assets" or through the Media drop  down they do not show up?

HiHas anyone of us have java code for export specific slide to pdf?At the end of the course i have slide with certificate. I wanna add button and program it . When i will click on this button , a message would pops up to save slide to pdf file.

I'm new to Captivate.I can't seem to move the timeline off of the main window onto my second monitor. Is there a keyboard modifier?Thanks!Scot

I am working on a scenario that can result in viewing the same slide from different branches. The navigation part of the scenario (and the actions) works well. The only part that isn't working is colouring visited buttons. Here is a sketch of what happens: .1 User visits Source #1 (BackWork) and clicks a button (Scn3_button_AddictionSpirals)..2 User visits the common slide (AddictionSpirals) which has a few buttons that lead to end points. On entry to that slide, conditionals check:.a If a viewed variable (Scn3_variable_HidesIt_viewed) is equal to 1, the relevant button is set to a "visited" colour. There is a conditional for each button on this slide and the viewed variables are set correctly, and they are being correctly detected, and the buttons are correctly coloured..b If all the buttons have been viewed and the last slide (Scn3_variable_AddictionSpirals_lastslide) is the right source (in this example it's Slide 31), the variable for the button on AddictionSpirals (Scn3_varia

We updated the team (6 people) to the latest Adobe Captivae 2019 v11.5.1.49 at work and everything looks great except for Assets. When Assets is launched at work all anyone gets is a blank screen (screenshot attached).If I launch Assets from home (personal license on different computer) everything works fine. Our support staff has been working with Adobe Support for about a week and no solution so far. Has anyone found a work around or solution for this?Is anyone else having the same problem? Thank you

I have recently created a course with CC attached to a Slide Video. When I review the course in the Preview with Project, From this Slide, or Next 5 Slides, the timing matches to where I set the changes in the Edit Video Timing interface. When I Preview with HTML5, the timing gets steadily later than the marked location as the video goes on. If it is a video that is a minute or two, it can be off as much as 3 seconds by the last CC that comes up. I was wondering if anyone has seen this issues and if there is some solution? I am running on a great internet connection, so no lag on that part and there is not a great amount of other animations on the screen other than the video that is playing itself. We have the video with a play button on top of it, so it is not auto starting, but is just 0.2 off from the start to accomodate for the Play button on the screen and the video not showing through.
