Anyone seeing issues with publishing as scalable HTML5 output and the display of variables and CC text?I just published from CP 2019 11.0.1.266 and, viewing with Chrome 75.0.3770.100 I have a variable (slide number) on a master slide and I have CC text, but both do not appear.If I view the same project in MS Edge browser, they appear. I've had another user corroborate the issue on their system.If I remove the scalable option, the variable and CC text are visible in Chrome.

Hi,I have a slide where I have multiple click boxes. I want to hide the playbar on this slide until all the click boxes have been clicked and then put it back on. However, even though I click on all the boxes the player doesn't come back. I've tried multiple configurations of settings but nothing has worked Do you know how to set it up correctly?

Extra points for whoever has any ideas on this weird issueList format may be best for this.What I know for sure1. WAV or mp3 audio has distortion when previewing or publishing on my older mac pro2. I used Lili's WAV format 44.1 khz, 16 bit mono - makes no difference, crackling is still there.3. The forementioned mac pro does not have any audio issues outside of Cp4. Audio plays fine, (no distortion) on my macbook pro & Ipad Pro5. my mac pro speakers play audio fine outside of CpI would say it's  an issue with the mac pro tower except it handles tons of video editing without any audio issues at all.Any thoughts? Hello! My Captivate project work perfectly on desktop & android... But on IOS we received a error message "repeatedly occurred". I have 242 slides and the size of the cpm.js is 25mb... Do you have a max size???Thanks

Hi,Is it possible to send the user variables data to LMS, I have 3 user numeric variables in my project. I want to send those 3 values to LMS to reflect in user reports.Pls. suggest. will it be possible with Captivate latest version?Much appreciated for a suitable solution.

Hi everyone,Unless I am missing something i just realized that I can't crop the bounding box on an SVG like you can with a PNG.It becomes a real bear when you have a lot of object on the canvas and their bounding boxes are overlapping.Am I missing something?Kurt

Hi. I assume this has been discussed somewhere, but I'm not having any luck finding information on it. I have a question about Master slides.First, I'm using Captivate 2019, updated to v11.5.0.476, running Windows 10. I have created a custom theme with many Master slides - 28 to be exact. Our team develops software simulations for our company's solutions.Issue:Whenever I apply this theme to a new project, one particular Master slide is always applied to the first slide. Similarly, if I paste in slides this same Master slide is always applied. My question:Is there a way to designate one of my other Master slides as the one that gets applied initially by default?(This slide is the fourth Master slide listed in my Master Slide view. I'd like to pick a different one.)Any info is helpful! Thanks!Brandon

Hello, We are having issues with a quiz that was built in Adobe Captivate 9. After the person takes the quiz and goes to retake it, it shows the correct and incorrect answer. How do we turn this off? Thank you for any assistance you can provide. - Matt

First use of nice extra features of latest version today 😉On each start I get error message as follows:On checking however Windows 10 already has this font - and I can't uninstall and reinstall it either.Any thoughts on Cause/Fix? (I can close and continue as normal)

Hi I am new to 360 rendering as well as captivate.  I managed to render a 360 Video yesterday in class and then went to captivate to start a new VR project.  The video was 32 mins long and around 4.5 GB   I manged to add to a slide but all I get is a grey screen.  Is the video too bigThanks for any helpKind regardsSteve

I have recently upgraded the patch of Adobe Captivate 2017 from version 10.0.0.192 to 10.0.1.285.  Is it possible to come back to previous version ie 10.0.0.192. If yes, how it is to be done. Since I am facing some problems in the latest versionThe problems are1. white screen with the button cannot be removed in latest versions as it was easily removed from previous version2. TOC tick boxes are not appearing properly. I want to come to previous version. Could anybody please help me in this. I don't want to reinstall the software again. Need your help !!

I made a quiz slide include the sequence type question.I published it to HTML5 and scorm 1.2 by Presenter 11.0 and upload my e-learning web server.1. My e-learning server cannot get the score of sequence type question at any browser(IE,chrome,firefox). the other type question can get it.2. When using safari browser of iOS, the server cannot get the score of all questions and do not called "finished" method too.(This e-learning server can get the score from the same quiz published by Captivate.)Is there the solutions of these problem?

I am creating a matching exercise for a quiz question and I am noticing that when I publish, the drop down menu items are getting cut off. I'm not sure what could be causing this and would appreciate some help with how to troubleshoot. I have already attempted to adjust the size and alignment of the answer items, but it has no effect on the drop down menu items.

I have a multi-state text object, and in some of the states I want to insert hyperlinks. This option seems to be disabled when editing multi-state objects. Is this feasible in some manner? My version of Captivate is 2019. Please let me know if further context is needed.

I have a text entry box on a slide (simulation project) and the user has the option of clicking into the next field, or tabbing into it. Every time the user tabs into the next field, the field is highlighted with a yellow outline for a couple of seconds.Does anyone know how i can remove this yellow highlight?   

I have a software simulation with a lot of short videos recorded in one workflow without pressing PRTSCRN much during the recording.I would like to have the user be able to read a box of information and then interact (ie 'continue') before the video (auto)playsIs there a way toadd a slide before using the initial first frame of the video as a still? The background options or any others do not seem to work.I tried the workaround of duplicate the video and editing the second video file does it ALSO edit the longer one I want untouched! The only way around this was to copy the video slide from an older project version and rename it...Is there a way to delay the playing of a video slide until the user is ready?Thx!Marcus

I have a drag and drop exercise with 7 risk hotspots and 7 Warning triangles.  The user drags a triangle to a risk hotspot and receives feedback via a 'object action' set on the risk hotspot.  The D&D is set up so that any triangle can be dropped into any risk and that when all 7 risks are found the exercise is completed.  There is no submit button shown, no success text show and no failure text shown. - All messages are shown via an advanced option assigned to each drop target by changing the state of a multi-state text box object.When all 7 risks are found the advanced action will display a continue button to allow the user to move on (this is important as I don't want the user moving on until all risks are found).Some risks are hard to find, so I am looking for a way to allow the user to see a hint when they have had 7 attempts and have not yet found all of the risks.I was planning to set an advanced action which flashed an indicator over the risks which have not

I'm starting to dig into Captivate's VR capabilities and am running across an issue where none of the Hotspot icons are displaying anywhere on my workspace. it appears on the timeline and I can adjust actions and properties, but it is not showing on the workarea itself.I've loaded the VR Demo and all those hotspots display fine. It seems to be when I want to add my own that it doesn't seem to want to work. Any ideas?

Hi, I am using Captivate 11.5.0 and have created a software simulation which includes buttons for the users to interact with the project as if they are using the software themselves. It's quite a large project and I have published it as HTML5/ SWF. When I upload it to my company's staging website, and go to the website using Internet Explorer, a video clip slide within the project does not show. It is just blank and I have to refresh the page. I don't have this issue when I open the project from the folder on my PC, or when I open it using Google Chrome. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there is any way to resolve it?Thanks.

I am trying to find the best way to address this task. I have a measuring tool that the user will drag across the various object. Each time the user drags over an object, the display on the measuring tool will show a different number. After the correct number is displayed, the learner will drop the tool over the object then select the submit button.Any direction or help is appreciated.Thank you,Faith
