Working on a Windows server with Apache 2.4 - Installed 2018 with update 10 about three weeks ago on our test server. After working through getting all the new security to work, it has now stopped after about a week and a half running smooth. Get the 403 error.The only error I see is [Wed Sep 30 19:42:57 2020] [1568:1836] [warn] ajp_process_callback::jk_ajp_common.c (2218): (cfusion) AJP13 protocol: Reuse is set to falsein the mod_jk log. It was running without the secret in the workers.properties file (it was in server.xml while working), but I tried adding it, no difference. I added the suggested line allowedRequestAttributesPattern=".*" to server.xml, which I did not have before. No difference. If anyone has any other ideas, I would welcome them. I am no sys admin 🙂 

Registering a new REST Service Mapping in my shared Hosting account, I've found a conflict to an existing Mapping in another account (website). This conflict was declared by an error: "access denied ('java.io.FilePermission' 'D:\[website_root]\SubDomains\[api_subDomain_folder]\[REST_service_mapping_folder]' 'read')". My suggestion is making the ColdFusion Admin's REST Service Mapping Registration by application scope, similar as ColdFusion Schedule. As know, You can implement a general schedule or by application scope. So, do you agree to my suggestion?

Hello.I am very interested in adobe captivate.I am trying to reproduce vr virtual reality.If you preview the work after completing the work, it works well as a local host.However, if you open the index created after posting the device, you will see a black screen. No matter how much I search and find the reason, I don't know.Please explain this in detail.I have looked into the community a lot, but I don't understand.I would be very grateful if you let me know in detail.I will attach an image of my work procedure.

Greetings. I posted this question about 5 years ago. Adding up payments by client. I still have not used this function - long story. So the query comes  from 2 tables- one fetches the orders and the other clients to display  the client billing hduring a given period. SELECT order_ID, order_number, order_client_ID, order_client_fee, order_status_ID, order_report_sent_date, order_property_street, order_property_city, client_ID, client_company, client_statusFROM main_orders, lookup_clientsWHERE order_client_ID = client_IDAND order_client_ID = #FORM.client_ID#AND order_status_ID = 9AND client_status = 1AND (order_report_sent_date BETWEEN #Session.StartDate# AND #Session.EndDate#)ORDER BY order_report_sent_date ASC Each payment diplays as #DollarFormat(order_client_fee)# I simply need a sum column. I keep seeing this error in the "security.log":"An error occurred while fetching element from authcache." There is no other info to go along with it. Im also getting other strange expetions and erros showing up in other logs, but can't tell yet if they are correlated at all.  I really need help figuring this out.

My current application won't support CF v.11 or higher without  a costly upgrade to the code. So this why i'm looking to purchase CF v.10 standard license

Recently installed CF Builder 2018 but cannot get to http://127.0.0.1:8600/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm - getting this:This site can’t be reached127.0.0.1 refused to connect.I successfully pinged both 127.0.0.1 and localhost. Also tried disabling firewall to no avail. I'm logged in as Administrator. When I go to 127.0.0.1 or localhost I do get the IIS spalash screen. Any help appreciated!

In our setup using JDK8 -  requests to different pages in CF application  returns this error:(randomly occurs  any requests for the applciation - logon page of the application is also affected by this issue quite often )java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Compressed class space  - no stack trace available.these pages coming back blank or failing for a periodJVM parameters are set with default settings - JVM settings related to compressed class or metaspace are NOT set .CF reactor log viewer shows 30% of compressed class space is used at any time of the default 1G assigned.JVM heap size is available on the system. It doesn't appear to be system related memory issue (top output)similar issue reported with maxmetaspace here:https://tracker.adobe.com/#/view/CF-4207269 any suggestion to track the cause or if there known bugs for Compressed class space? TIA,NS  

Hi all, So we use the onError function in Application.cfc to show users a generic message if they happen to encounter an error. In our development environments, we generally comment out the onError function which results in errors producing a very nice helpful stack trace.This has proved problematic in the event of changing the Application.cfc and forgetting that you did that, resulting in an unwanted change to prod. Ideally it should be caught but that's not the point. And it'd be nice if nobody had to worry about it.I'd like to know if there's any way to show that nice stack trace screen if we are in a development environment. Assuming I know that we are in a dev environment, I've tried wrapping the entire onError function in a <cfif> but it doesn't seem to care about that. Is there a template somewhere that I can invoke that presumably takes the Exception variable and puts it in the nice stack trace format? Dumping the Exception variable is alright but not nearly as legib

I've found one more problem while creating a POO service. I've created a component with some PRIVATE getter and setter functions, then a PUBLIC transactional function IN SAME component to access these getter and setter functions. After instancing the referenced object then using the transaction function, an error appears explaining the getter and setter functions could not be found. To avoid this error, I needed to change the getter and setter functions' visibility to PACKAGE. So, did anyone find a similar issue while creating a POO architecture using ColdFusion 2018?

Hi All,I am running my coldfusion application on coldfusion 2018 using apache2 in Ubuntu 18 (GCP machine). The updates were not installed befor configuring and running the application. Now when I run updates I got HTTP Status 403 – Forbidden "The server understood the request but refuses to authorize it." issue after installing ColdFusion 2018 Update 8. I have tried to resolve the issue by using the link but I am unable to resolve the issue . After installing update 16 to ColdFusion 2016, my PDF generation code has stopped working. Typically I am using cfdocument to generate the PDF, and the CFCONTENT to push it to the browser. Now I just get timeouts (error 524 via CloudFlare). Prior to the update, it was working fine and it seems other code is working fine too. Thank you

My CF2016 developer edition has decided it does not want to start (on Windows 10). I did do some MS Updates over the past few days but it did't stop immediately. I am not sure if it's related to the updated, but after I did them I started to get blue screens (thanks MS), which I fixed by removing Skype, put Skype back on and no more blue screens (yet). Nothing else has changed. I was downloading binaries for CF2018 LINUX-64 bit versions of the coldfusion software today. After downloading them to my computer, I did what any security-conscious developer would do and attempted to validate the MD5 checksums against what was posted by Adobe on the download page. Only 1 of the 5 binary checksums matched what was posted (i.e. the one for the lockdown guide). I noticed that there was a little note at the top of the page that said that the downloads were recently refreshed. It said "Revision history-7/14 - Refreshed add-on installers for 2016 and 2018". Therefore, I suspect that the checksums were missed in that refresh. Also, the most important download, the CF2018 server software, did not have a checksum listed ... unlike most of the other stuff. I contacted Adobe support and after a bit of discussion, they asked me to alert the forum about this. My company needs the latest checksums to verify the downloads before we install. Hello, we have license for CF 2016 Enterprise and like to upgrade. previous versions of CF allowed to upgrade from N-2 to N; does it still hold true? i am trying to decide if we need to purchase 2018 now or just wait for the new version release and spend the money there. Thanks for the help.

Every couple of weeks the ColdFusion Launcher Application will go up and max out the CPU on the server.  Site will then begin to timeout.  Restarting the ColdFusion server services is required to resolve the issue.  The is happening on two separate web servers.  Both are running CF 2016 and Windows Server 2012 R2.

HI Guys, Wondering if anyone else is experience stability issues after upgrading to CD2018 Update 10?  We host in the cloud a single server CF2018.  It was on Update 2 and rock solid.  After updating to update 4, then update 10 over a 2 week period, we have lost stability in the system. The server is now requiring a reboot every 3-10 days. Thinking it was a memory issues, we have 16 GB on our VM, so we upgraded the heap size to 8192 (since it was always maxing at 2048).  No help. When the system becomes unrepsonsive for our app, the CPU looks as though it is doing work still (not locked, but fluctuating between 1 and 30%).  The Administrator console is typically unavailable. Today, for hte first time, the CFIDE administration page showed a CF error dump. Environment:Windows server 2012R2 fully patched (15 GB, 4 vCPU).  HDD has plenty of resources.  IIS serves the public.Server DetailsServer ProductColdFusionVersion2018,0,

Hello,We are running a ColdFusion 8 installation on an internal network. We are upgrading the Windows Server it is hosted on to Server 2019.   I am wanting to upgrade the ColdFusion installation and bring it up to date. Is there a migration tool or prefered method to get it to the latest version? Thank you for any guidence.Robert

Hello, I recently installed Update 14 on a COld Fusion 2016 installation ( Windows 2012R2 ) and now the server will not start up. The server.log log is stating the following Error","Thread-19","09/16/20","09:21:46","","Connect to 127.0.0.1:8989 [/127.0.0.1] failed: Connection refused: connect http://127.0.0.1:8989/PDFgServlet/" Can anyone assist? I had to uninstall update 14 to get COld Fusion to work again.
