When should we celebrate 'CF-Day' in India?
Ladies and Gents,
We have a fun loving team of CF devs here. Have started a yahoo group "cfexpress" and you will notice that we have 10+ members from Mumbai in Day 1. We want to dedicate a day of every year to ColdFusion and celebrate CF day in Mumbai, India. The members are my friends (all into CF) and we do have lot of fun parties and activites outside work.
We want people from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and other major cities in India to help us zero-in on a date that we can jointly call CF-Day.
Here it is, the question (poll) as posted on our group "cfexpress":
When should we celebrate 'CF-Day'?
- 2000, June[Second Sunday] - Edwin Smith begins rearchitecting ColdFusion on
a Java platform during his trip home from JavaOne.
- 2003, August[6th August] - ColdFusion MX 6.1 Enterprise bundled with full
version of JRun.
- 1995, July [Second Sunday]- Allaire launches Cold Fusion 1.0 distributed on
the web or by mail on two 3.5 inch floppy disks.
- 1998, November[Second Sunday] - Cold Fusion becomes ColdFusion - name is
fused together.
