We had a meeting today with multiple crashes of the Adobe Connect application. These were on different networks, different computers (PC/Mac), and different browsers (IE/Chrome/Firefox).Did anyone else have issues with Adobe Connect crashing yesterday or today?Thanks,Jonathan
I have added bridged audio using an audio profile with my conference phone number, meeting number and password. I would like to know how to get the setting where when users open my Adobe Connect meeting, they have the choice of picking to dial in, have adobe call them by the user entering their phone number and last option is to listen through adobe connect.
I have just gone through the introduction on creating and managing events, however, I need to know whether I can sell my classes through the system as well. Right now, we have a shopify site where users can purchase the classes. Our classes are for sale so they are not simply registering for the event. The students have to purchase the classes. Is there any payment gateway integration such as paypal or do we have to provide a bank in account number and then register the student once payment is processed?
Hi there,I started a trial of Adobe Connect, and I want to upgrade to a monthly plan.This FAQ page suggests I can easily just by logging in: Subscription | Adobe Connect service plan FAQWhen my trial expires, can I keep the information in my account by purchasing a Service Plan? Yes. Log in to your trial (even if it has expired) and click the Service Plan tab. Click the plan you would like to purchase. Once the purchase has been confirmed, your meeting information from your trial version is available to you again. Note: Service Plans are for Adobe Connect Live meetings only. If you have uploaded training or presentation content with your trial, you don't have access to this content unless you purchase an Annual subscription. Contact Adobe Sales for details. However this is not possible when I log in I get this message:No "Service plan tab" to be seen Any ideas please.
I have 5 webinars recorded and saved in Adobe Connect. I see I can download them as flv files but I need them in MP4 format. Is that something I purchase from Adobe?
I can no longer change event banner images after I've created an event. The first banner I upload when creating the event works, but it does not work if I try to change to a different banner image later. I either still see the original image or a blank space appears instead. I've tried with multiple file types and in different browsers, but the problem persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a way to fix it?
How to buy Adobe connect in china?
In Connect 9.0, when I try and Make FLV, the recording is choppy. When listening to the replay, it's fine. I've tried different browsers, different laptops and always the same choppy results. I heard that there is an add-in that can fix this problem. I've already updated to the current Flash. Any ideas?
After I initiate the breakout, you can still hear people from the other rooms? How can I fix it?
Hi everyone,Our company has chosen to use Adobe connect for the occasional webinar. IT purchased a subscription for my colleage as a means of trying it out for a couple of months, so we're quite new to the connect game.It all works fine, however, the subdomain name is set to a generic http://meet73271184.adobeconnect.com. Is there any way to change/have this changed to a more friendly URL? I would like to give our users a more friendly subdomain.Kind regards,Willam
How can I move an edited meeting recording from my content folder back to my meeting room recording folder.I want to make it accessible to current registrants, plus others who will be registering over the next few weeks. If I just add more "permissions" to the FLV file in my content folder, it won't automatically update permission for the new people who register.Thanks!!!
HiI have shared a url from adobe connect of a recorded meeting and the person i sent it too only gets to 14 seconds and then it starts again. I can view the whole thing to 8 mins. What can i do to resolve. The URL is a public URLThanksSharon
I usually present my PowerPoint shows in Connect by screen sharing but I have a problem. The bandwidth for my employer regularly gets saturated and my connection to the Adobe server gets broken. I'm trying to find ways to reduce my bandwidth needs and the obvious place to start is the screen share. Unfortunately, the PowerPoint files I use are full of animations but on it's web page Adobe seems to suggest that such animations will vanish when uploaded. Is this correct and, if so, is there any way to upload a PowerPoint file and still maintain all of the animations?The Adobe page I refer to above is Best Practices for sharing PPTX files on Adobe Connect
We use Adobe Connect to trouble shoot problems with our end users.The biggest problem I have is with pop ups from Windows UAC wanting to allow an action. We can't click on those through Adobe Connect like you can with normal remote control software. Also, the popup doesn't even show up. On the controller's end is just a black blank screen. The only reason we know that the Allow/Deny screen is coming up is because we've had users on the phone tell us when it prompts them.If it was just getting past that screen, that'd be fine. We could warn the user to just click allow on those popups and be done with it. But it doesn't stop there. You can't interact with any window that involve the aforementioned UAC popup protection.Perfect example: We need to delete something out of the registry. When opening regedit a UAC popup comes up asking if we want to allow. They click yes and you lose control over the mouse while that program is up. If I set up all my video pods in the presenters only area. Then start recording will I be able to view it later or must all video pods have to be located on the main presentation board? If not, is there a way I can do video for later viewing not current presentation activities?

From what I understand the migration to 9.2 for some hosted sites has a problem.The images (logo, banners, and speaker images) do not appear on the mini site pages such as login, registration, etc.I'm not able to re-add the images as the edits when saved are ignored.The pages leave space for the images, so it's looks pretty bad.Talking to Adobe support - they are aware of the issue and are working on it.Anyone have a viable workaround or fix to this issue? I'd rather not recreate the events as they already have registered folks - and I suspect I would have to ask them to register again... rather not do that.I tried new templates - no love.ideas?Cheers,Fred
Everytime I enter an Adobe Connect meeting, I enter as a participant, however, I am included in the admin group and I should be joining a meeting as a host. This also happens with a few others in my office. Why is this happening? When we check the settings, I am under admin. Please let me know asap. Thanks!

HI Adobe fans & expertsMistakenily we gave a group of students the option to change their password on first time entry to Adobe Connect which caused confict with passwords (this isnt the problem) The problem is that when I attempted to override the exisitng users with the orignial password it didnt help... there passwords remained the wrong ones (the new codes they created as a result of the option to change the password)According to adobe it is a server requirement not to use the same passwords as before, so attempting to change the accounts password back to the original wouldnt work ( even do Adobe's user upload said that the list uploaded sucessfuly) So I decided to delete these particpants in the hope that when I upload the CSV for the second time the original passwords would save. However this didnt work...Does this mean the even if you delete a user the users still exisit somewhere?Thanks all Hope you can helpLanz

We are considering Adobe Connect for sending live video streams of public meetings. The number of viewers can be in the range 1-100. We are probably gonna use some kind of automated camera system and we are also probably gonna want to store/record the meetings and make them available to the public via some kind of archive. The video and audio is gonna come from some kind of external system (not a simple webcam). Is Adobe Connect recommended for this kind of use?
