I am going to make the webinar in our company, and I think Connect will be a good tool for that one. So I want to use this one beforehand for some check ups. But there are no ways to find out to use it without any payment. Is there any special way to use it for out rehersal?If anyone knows, please answer it. Thanks.
Hi, I am new with using Adobe Connect meeting and am using it for a dissertation. I have to hold an online focus group and later have the audio transcribed. I would like to hold the meeting so that I can see video (for purposes of noting nonverbal cues), but I do not want the video recorded; I only want to record audio. Is this possible?
How did Adobe create the interactive tour that you see in recent versions of Acrobat Pro DC and 2017? Is this Captivate with JS, or some other 3rd party app?

Our Adobe Connect version is '8.2.2.7a'. We want to reindex Adobe Connect database but we have SQL Server Express 2008.We know that SQL Server Express 2008 doesn't support reindexing.How can we reindex database using SQL Server Management Studio or an external tool?
I am aware of the imminent release of Connect 9.7 and I noticed there is a strong promotion of the new standalone application.My company uses Adobe Connect for training and updates purposes and this new update looks revolutionary and problematic at the same time: actually all the Connect users in my company are accessing to training materials and live communication through a link published in our internal website and everything is managed from web; so if we need to use an application we have to change many things.My compelling questions are:will be the Adobe Connection app, the only way to use Connect from now on? (not from web anymore)it seems the application doesn't supports Windows XP. It's sad to say that almost 10% of our customers are still using XP, so we have no choice to push them to use other OS?Our website provides direct connection to Connect room and authenticates them directly (the don't need to provide their Adobe Connect credentials, everything is done in the background

Helllo.For the second time in a short period, a recording (password protected) from a meeting in Adobe Connect does not open when clicking on the link, it keeps stuck on connecting. Last time I was able to contact support via the chat and an agent provided a zip file from the recording that I needed to upload to the content. This proved to be a good solution. Unfortunately, the chat function is currently down and I have no idea how to get in contact with support. Can someone help me to access my recording again? Would also be great if you could investigate why this problem keeps occuring with our recordings, since we plan to use this quite often for training purposes. Kind regards,Ilona
Hello All,I have a question regarding Adobe Connect 8 Web API. We are creating an application where we generate public meetings on the fly by server side code that uses Adobe Connect API, We are able to create, update and delete meetings successfully. The URL is generated for the guest with querystring parameter "guestName=ABC", which makes it easy for the guest to join the meeting without going through the Selection (Guest/Log In) page. However for the host they always have to login manually. Is there a way the host can login directly, for e.g. passing BREEZESSION as query string parameter and so on. Any help is really appreciated.

We have ADC version 9.X and CISCO VCS Control Version X8.5.1.I am trying to get ADC integrated with our VTC Telepresence network. Many years ago ADC Version 8 was able to create a SIP registration to our VCS Control and was able to watch VTC's. At the time is was two way audio one way video. Now we want to use the ADC With Version 9.X and it appears we have to have a SIP trunk to the VCS ??? What is the procedure to configure ADC to work with the VCS and use the Telephony POD to watch and listen to a VTC call ??? Any help is appreciated. I would rather just create a SIP Registration but if I have to use a SIP trunk will do that . I did create a SIP trunk on my VCS and it did go Green but when i tried to dial into a VTC conference room it didn't work. VRChet
I've run into a problem with some of my users who use Connect for web conferencing lately. The Connect screen will not load, it just hangs on Loading Adobe Connect. I know it's not a firewall issue because I can delete the user's local account, have them log back in to rebuild it and it loads with no problem, so it seems like something getting messed up in AppData or other system files under the user's folder, but I haven't been able to find anything that would specifically cause it. I've tried IE/FF/Chrome with the same results. Any ideas?

Hi,I have two recordings that are problematics as regards the voice of the host of the conference:- first, sound and video are dsynchronized only for the host. Sound and video for the other participants are synchronized. So the voice of the host is superimposed on that of the other participants. I still tried to use Recording Repair: the application tells "No indexstream.flv file found in the recording".-second, sound and video are not visible and audible for the host when I try to change the record. Sound and video for the other participants are OK.And when I try to download, I do not have sound and video for all.Can you help me please ?Thanks a lotSophie
Hello,I have a Connect meeting host 25 plan. I have a few simple questions:1) are the host and the presenter counted in the number limit of the 25 participants?2) in case of, say, a meeting of 30-35 participants, do I have mandatorily to switch to the webinar manager 100 plan or can I just buy a few more participants slots?3) in any of the two cases, Is it possible to switch back to the previous 25 participants plan without losing the account settings (meeting rooms, uploaded materials, recordings etc.)?thanks in advance for the replyMarco

We use a hosted Connect account to provide distance-learning for school-age children. We have done this for a number of years, and have rarely encountered a problem with Connect.Since the forced add-in update a couple of weeks ago, though, we've had unprecedented numbers of students saying that they are unable to attend lessons, and it sounds like not being able to update the add-in is the cause. I updated the links to the meetings to append ?launcher=false to try to force the browser to use Flash rather than the add-in (as well as advising students to try another browser) - that helped some users but caused problems for others. It also doesn't seem to work for Microsoft Edge, which tries to launch the add-in regardless.It doesn't help that this is the iPad generation who struggle to create a folder, yet alone uninstall an application and troubleshoot problems for themselves. Looking for the download link for on premise installation of Adobe Connect 9.6.The update website says to login to LWS to download the full installer but there isn't a link for 9.6. Had this same issue for the past two years and was able to get the link from using the chat help line but haven't been able to find anyone there that knows anything about connect other than the patch link.
I tried setting up a audio profile but only the old conference line numbers are working but new conference line numbers are not working? Is there a limitation on which conference line numbers will work?
I like what appears to be the ability to tour students through a Captivate lesson in synch and then let them work individually. From what I understand, that will be the e-learning level that has an integrated connect LMS. What I am wondering is there an integration with the LMS, Moodle, that we already have so there can be single sign on and no need to manually enroll all those students into the Connect LMS to get those features?If anyone can share details and tips for using interactive Captivate content in live classroom sessions, please share. This is where our keen interest is. We have a large K-12 subject area library of content we would like to integrate into making live session very experiential and fun.
Hi, I have a question about to get the time spent by the users on recording meetings playback. I´m developing an integration from an LMS to Adobe connect meetings and I need to know how much time a user spent on recording meetings playback, is it possible to get this time via Adobe connect API?
I am using Adobe Connect with a Mac. Designated as a meeting host. Everything goes in slow motion: typing in chat boxes is one...letter...at...a...time...; Switching to a new layout or forwarding slides takes up to 10 seconds; Webcam jerkyInitially using Firefox, then same on Safari. No other apps running. This did not happen when last presented on August 25.Tested on my PC and everything works fine.
