Profiles and file migration

Hopefully everyone is having a nice summer. I hope someone could please help me resolve this issue:
Background
Apparently, Adobe added so called ‘profiles’, which resulted in me suddenly having a separate personal profile and an education profile - both registered on the same personal email address. Until just over a month ago, I usually saved my study projects on that same account - as there were no profiles yet… but now there are.
I wanted to edit some private files, but when logging in I got a notification about the new profiles. The education profile is called ‘SURFspot Operational Console’, which I never saw before. As you can imagine, this doesn’t sound very appealing for saving some private files.
That is why I clicked to continue saving (and keeping) my files on my personal profile.
The issue
Unlike before this profile function was added, my personal profile evidently is now something that should be considered separate from my education profile. Because of that, my personal profile doesn’t have a license anymore as that one got detached and migrated to the education profile.
The problem is that all my files and folders had been saved on my (now non-licensed) personal profile. This means I cannot edit my files anymore unless I migrate them to my education profile.
The question(s)
I’ve read various sources, including https://helpx.adobe.com/nl/enterprise/kb/transfer-assets.html
My personal profile now exceeds the storage limit and I’ve read that files may be deleted after 30 days of being over the maximum capacity. That is why I’m sort of forced to migrate everything to my education profile asap.
One of the options is sharing every single file from ‘Your Files’, as sharing multiple files (or preferably folders) is not possible (https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services-discussions/can-t-share-or-collaborate-on-folders-from-creative-cloud/m-p/12780993).
[1] IF my files get deleted from my personal profile, will I be able to continue editing/saving etc. the files that have been shared to my education profile or will these get deleted (because the source has been deleted too)?
[2] Obviously, single-handedly sharing every individual file (probably hundreds) is everything but my preferred option.
- The automated option is not available for me (only enterprise if I’m correct?).
- Downloading files from the cloud to my SSD is possible, however; when downloading I get files with a generous 0 bytes of data, and they disappear from my folder? Why is that?
- The Adobe helpdesk didn’t do anything besides ending the chat.
So is there any other option to transfer my files from one profile to another?
