I just opened a Dimensions file I created a month ago at most, and it removed all my elements, leaving me with just the plain box against a grid with no artwork material. The material is visible in the properties section but not visible or able to be replaced or updated on the actual box. Anyone else having these issues?

Some graphics appear instantly upon place, and others cause Dimension to hang with an endless loading screen.

I am really excited to try Dimension v4, but it consistently fails to import dn file with a fairly simple model (model purchased on Adobe Stock with psd decals on it). Hi. I am experincing Dimension as very slow since a bit. I am not using it that much, so i don´t now what happened. I have a few boxes (products) with some artworks on it and it takes hours to load, save, move etc. … from time to time it crashes with a grey screen. I have a MacBook M1 Pro/ 16GB RAM/ Ventura … what can i do to get this working? Thanks and regards!Alex

Hi @adobe, I'm trying to learn what new function you've updated in Dimension, and right now I'm studying your snapping system. However I have some trouble on some of the functions such as "inital position", "ground, world axes", "on contact only".  I clicked on invidual function to explore, however, the "on contact only" doens't do anything, and end up bounding boxes is snapping like on contact.  is it possible you can upload some videos explaination of how each of the function in the the snapping system work?  thank you 

I downloaded a 3D object from Adobe Stock. Why can't I unlock the object in scene? Also, what does the box icon mean that is next to the object?

While working and importing a file it always freezes. Even whem at staing it freezes, Had to Start diemntion 2-3 time to get it working...Needs some explanation.ZAK

Dimension crash after importing other 3d file

This has been posted by someone else but with no reply. This is literally stopping me from finishing work for clients. I've attached the error log. 

Greetings!I had this issue for years now, but now decided to address it here: when I have a 3d model, for example a paper packaging from Dimensions library, and put a decal on it, I can never rotate it so that is aligned precisely with line of the horizont, or an edge of a packaging. Whenver I rotate it with a little handle for rotation the step is too big, even if it is just 1 number up or down. Is there a shortcut maybe to hold a key and make rotation more precise?                Like here, 3 degrees is almost there, but still not exactly the same level, and I cannot do fractions to fine rotate it(

Why are the files getting corrupted or crashing after Adobe upgraded Dimensions? Its one thing to desire people pay more for the Adobe Substance Suite, its another to heckle them constantly and crash their file. 

Hi to all,I have installed the last version of Dimension (4.0.2) and now have a problem to open my .dn files, it cant be opened. I work with MACPRO with Intel Xeon W12 core CPU and AMD Radeon Pro W5700X 16 GB GPU.Someone have the same problem?

 I just start dimention and I am unable to find those shapes that people used it there tutorial, do you know why? I just have the splash ones

I duplicated the comp to make an alternative version and renamed the files in Finder. after renaming the files I launched one of the files to open and Dimension was not able to open the file, please help

Jambo!What is the proper way to create soft drop shadow edges instead of razor-sharp ones?I seem to remember that in versions 3.x there was a »Cloudiness« ruler to do that, but that was available for »Sun« light only?So how to do that in case of »Glow« light sources, with version 4.0.2?Thanks

How do I add a line break in 3d text? I like it to be one element, with 2 lines of text. But all my text stay on one line. I use to be able to do this, but something changed.. Is this still possible?

I licensed a model of a french door (link to the item below) but when I try to import it into Adobe Dimension I get the following message (after that given as the title of this post):"To help diagnose the issue, please describe the issue on the forum and attach any files to help troubleshoot"- Nothing much extra to describe.  Other models import without problem.  I purchased this as supposedly 'optimised for Dimension' yet although I see the Model in my library (left hand panel under assets), when I try to use it the error message appears.  Same message when I try to import it drecly from my downloads folder.  There is not enough information provided to me, to allow me to provide more here. https://stock.adobe.com/uk/3d-assets/french-door/219873476?prev_url=detail

Hi, please add some basic modeling tools here in Dimension!  Like, cut and merge, bevel, extrude, and curve pen. 

Hello, big fan of Dimension and just discoverd the updated version. Only gripe so far is saving my work. Had a look for duplicate posts, but no luck... Whenever I hit Save, rather than just saving in the background, it pulls up the 'Save As' pane, and eemingly have to overwrite the file each time? I don't see options to change in the File Handling settings? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.

I've used Dimension since it was in Beta. I've used it in my corporate job at least a few times each week since around 2020. Sometimes I want to grab something I built in another Dimension file, so I just import that file. Usually I make sure there's not a ton of random elements or hidden things, but it never caused a problem before the latest update. No I cannot import even the simplest DN file into the current one. I'm attaching the log from the failure.This is a pain in the rear because it means if I want to combine elements, I have to re-import them all. If they are exported Illustrator extrusions, it also means I have to re-arrange them all. This is time consuming and a real problem when it comes to consistency.

[Dimension 4.0.2, Windows 10]Hi there!When adding another light source to a given scene, the overall brightness in that scene diminishes drastically. I sense that this could be connected to the multiple usage of modified »Glow« materials. Nevertheless that seems to be a bug to me.The log files created literally contain ten thousands of »Lantern Parameter Set« error lines ...Cheers
