Can't open older version of Dreamweaver on old Mac after downloading newer version of DW on new Mac

I have been using DW CC 2015 on an older mac and recently bought a new M1 chip Mac Book Pro.  I have all of the CC software that I need on the new computer.  But when I try to open DW 2015 on the old computer nothing happens. Was it scratched/deactivated because I activated the Adobe Application Manager on the new computer?

Main concern:  I would like to be able to export or otherwise transfer all of my site info and server connectivity settings so that I can import them to DW on my new computer.  I can't open DW 2015 or 2017 on my old Mac even though they were problem-free before activating DW 21.2 on my new Mac.  Help/insights greatly appreciated.

You won't be able to run CC 2015 on your new Mac. As far as I can recall CC2015 was 32-bit and support for that was discotinued in Mac 10.15 Catalina. Since then (OS 11 & 12) have been 64-bit applications only and the Rosetta 2 emulation that your M1 Mac is using will only support 64-bit apps as a result. If you have an active CC application you can download the newer versions of DW which are compatible.

If you transferred old files from your Mac to your new one, the good news is that your sites are in tact and could be extracted to impot into the new version of DW.  Just go to your user library:Application Support:Adobe:Common:{version}:Sites:Site Prefs and copy them over once the new version is installed.

Which OS is on the old computer?

Thanks for all the responses on this thread.  I scratched my plan to export all of my DW settings given the complexity of the situation and other time constraints.  FYI, the old mac had an early version of Catalina.  After reading Ben M's post aobve I do recall that the mac went through an update while I was transitioning to the new computer.  Although I hadn't intended it to...  😕😕  That update probably resulted in the issue where the older DW 15 and 17 stopped working.  It was definitely not a 'too many log-ins' issue or error.  Thanks again...

Log-in to your online account and deactive all unused devices.   You can activate on up to 2 machines but only 1 can be used at a time.

Are you getting any kind of error messages on the older machine?

I still use CC2015 on my production machine while evaluating newer versions on another and have no issues going back and forth.

However, if you have tried to activate the programs on more than 2 machines, you should see some kind of "too many log-ins" style message.
