Hello,How Can I wrap text around a photo on a webpaage? I'm using CSS.I looked up some of the web articled and they point to clicking on "Justify" on Properties but this option is no longer there in the latest version.Thanks 

Been using Dreamweaver CS5.5 for years and now switched to CC.  Missing the HTML properties tab at the bottom of the Classic desktop view.  For those who don't recall, it's a tab that includes some basic HTML formatting, link management, etc.  Appears I have to use menu dropdowns now for the same functions.  How do I add it back?

Hello and goodday to all of you good people i am on a school quiz and need some help( where you would be able to change the background colour to maroon.)(where you could view a different device pixel setting)(Click the menu that would allow setting of preferences of the web authoring tool)(click the file / page selector that allows you to change the formatting style of the website)

I wanted to enlarge my text so that people using their cell phones could read it easily. I had already added code <meta name=" "viewport”" content="”width=device-width," initial-scale="1?" />so that users could see a more mobile-friendly version, but still, I wanted the users to see a much bigger font when they opened the pages. I dragged over text and chose XXL size, but the more I did that, the longer and longer it took for my program to respond, and it was taxing the processor because my laptop fan was running all the time. Any reasons and solutions?  

I'm using Adobe Dreamweaver 2021 and my collegue is using an older version.  When following the same exact steps, she is able to go to File>Import>XML into Template to create an htm file from the xml.  When I follow the same steps, the XML into Template option is greyed out/not enabled.  We both have an htm file open, which used to be the ony prerequisite for this option to be enabled.I've tried having an htm file open, an xml, no files open, etc but the Import>XML into Template is always greyed out.  The user guide doesn't seem to offer a solution for if the option is greyed out. Anyone know what I need to do to get the File>Import>XML into Template feature enabled in DW 2021? 

Hello  I am an Amature ( 70 +) I have enjoyed Adobe  ever since they bought Macromedia Contribute.  This is my first time to seek  help from the Knowledgeable Community.  My Server/ Host company  has blocked my site because it is / was compromised.  They tell me They cant help.I have my website files on disc since  2002 / 2003  How do I get my site back on line. Or  how should I deal with  the hosting company.I do not mind  loosing a lot of the  content   but  ( I may have to rebuild ??).  If you can offer some advice it would  keep me  passing the time, I do not make any money from the websites I own.I Look forward to any repliesObliged Mick

I have a local server defined. I cant use the CSS designer, and I can't edit anything because it's everything is greyed out.Like the DOM and the selectors, any ideas?   What's the best way to do a theme with Dreamweaver? Like should I code the HTML and CSS  with the CSS designer and then import the site to WordPress?

This is driving me mad. I am using Dreamweaver 2020 and have lost the ability to see full file names in the files panel. I used to be able to read them. When I descend a tree and file/folder info shifts right the column remains the main width so all but a few letters are available to the eye. I click “expand the file panel” and yes, the panel expands but not the column which is now hard left, but just as narrow. I have manually dragged the panel edge but the same things happens. I am sure what to do is easy – when you know how, But how? (I have reset the Standard workspace but no dice).   [Topic edited by moderator]

I maintain a website that was designed in Dreamweaver in 2001.  Its in dire need of updating.  I've been told by more than one person that I should abandon Dreamweaver and integrate my site into WordPress.  Before I make that leap, I wanted to do a quick search for anyone that might be interested in doing some updates for me in the current Dreamweaver format.  I need an eCommerce page and some interactive forms.  The coding required is above my pay-grade.[Moderator moved from inactive Web Design to Dreamweaver Forum.]

Hi,I'm having a typing issue. Adobe Dreamweaver is super slow whenever it comes to typing.I tried switching the views but it didn't work. Also, my computer works well until I start coding in Adobe Dreamweaver.Any solutions?

I keep getting this error message. My Dreamweaver is up to date (21.0). The server administrator's logs are showing that Dreamweaver is using an outdated version of OpenSSH, specifically 4.6. Any ideas? This is my first time using Dreamweaver, so I'm not sure whether or not this is an issue with the new 2021 version. 

Hi I have just installed Dreamweaver and when I clean a HTML tag it does not allow me to edit the tag itself.  All that occurs is the start and end of the tag is highlighted.   If I place mouse before / after the html tag and then arrow cursor into the html tag region, it simply highlights the entire tag same as above.   I have never experienced this before in Dreamweaver.   Is there some preference setting that needs to be changed?   regards Claude    [Edited by moderator for clarity.]

I open a template and then save it as a new file, e.g. new_file.htm. When I go to save this file again after editing the editable regions the popup window is asks me to save it as a template. But I want to save it as new_file.htm. There are two ways to save it.(1) Try to close new_file.htm without saving and you will get the normal save window.(2) Use "save as" and the normal save window will appear. But there is no way to simply click "save" and get new_file.htm to resave. I think that this is a bug.

In the old version of Dreamweaver (Creative Suite 5), in the upper right-hand corner of an open web page it would tell you which template was being used. I can’t find anything similar to this in Creative Cloud. How do I determine which template is attached to an html file in the Dreamweaver CC interface?

Hello.  I have inserted a bootstrap 4 navbar using the latest Dreamweaver version.  I am just starting out with bootstrap.  I would like to know how to insert social media icons into the navbar and position them to the right on larger screens and to the left of the hamburger menu on smaller screens. Can anyone point me in the right direction remembering that I am rather new to bootstrap? Thanks.

Good day All,   We have been using Dw CS3 since about 2007 or so.  I've moved it twice before from one laptop to newer ones with zero problems.  I just transferred everything (again) to our new laptop (exactly as before).  However, now, the program will not allow me to "Deactivate" on the older computer, or "Activate" on the new computer.  Instead, I get a bogus "Can't find the internet" messages.  This message comes up, even though I can surf around the internet at the same time I get that message.  WTH?  This, in effect, is like saying thanks for spending a chunck of change on our software.  And, oh by the way.... we're taking it back now, unless of course you're willing to pay a ransom, I mean... purchase a subscription from us as well.  Come on now Adobe. Does anyone know of a work around for this computer transfer issue?  Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.  It would be deeply appreciated.   R/ Tim

hello again...Have to create 4 or 5 online forms for a website I built for my local area of NA (in DW). I found a basic HTML Form template at w3schools; & used that for my first form:[dead link removed by moderator.]So...when users finish & hit the Submit button, the form (& all included info) needs to go to our secretary's e-mail. I've read everything I can get my hands on regarding PHP but for a beginner coder such as myself...informationals on the web never tell you precisely *take this snippet...customize it thusly; & place it here*...even the instructionals on w3schools are vague on this topic (for people such as myself). So...can someone take a look at that form page; & point me in the right direction, at least?thanxmark4man

When it comes time to upload new content to the remote server DreamWeaver has stopped uploading all the files.  I can upload PDF's and pages for example, but cannot upload optimized graphics like simple jpgs. I know this because there are error messages after the upload process and I can view the remote server.  I've tried uploading the graphics separately from uploading a whole page. I've tried synchronizing. Here is the error messageFile Transfer failed due to following reasons: - Internal data error, possibly because of failure to start the upload. - An unknown error occurred.

It says username or password is incorrect but the  PPK file and login and pass works on Filezilla I'm on port 22

I saved a preview of my web page as a pdf and messed everything up. Now all the tabs under insert are all greyed out and I'm unable to fix them. What can I do to fix this?

Since the new version of Dreamweaver 2020 my PV11 Magic Box and Image Effects Vertical Menu will not install. I have tried two different extention managers and although they both claim to have installed them they are simply not there in the programme. I have restarted both the programme and computer many times. Can anyone help please?
