I am new to php and and my sql. I am trying to create a registration form for users of my website. I was able to successfully create a send message form, but this time i want to creat a registration form, i am stuck, my form does nothing when i enter the required data. I have already created my Database using my sql in my Hostgator server. I am a novice so please be gentle. Have downloaded a trial of the latest Dreamweaver after having used version 8 for the last decade or so and am trying to get my head around bootstrap. But whenever I insert rows and columns it stacks the columns on top of each other even on a large pc screen. I have tried testing it with a very basic 2 column design 1 word in each column and it still does it, I also saved one of the template pages and uploaded it with no changes and this did not work. I should say everything looks fine on the previews but then changes after I have uploaded. (123-reg if that makes any difference) I have also had issues with images resizing perfectly on the preview (scanning the qr code on my phone) then not acting the same when live. I have found work arounds for these but can't find anyway round the bootstrap grid. I also downloaded bootstrap directly and tried a very basic html page without using dreamweaver and it worked fine, but I do not have the coding skill
Dreamweaver hangs when I open a page that has an inline video. Is there a reason for this, (considering I have a mac I think can handle it.)? I have downloaded all the Dreamweaver Extensions via the DMXzone Extension Manager. Via the Manager all the extensions downloaded succesfully but when I go into Dreamweaver 2020 I do not see them anywhere. In the past these extensions appeared under the Windows menu. Cna someone tell me where to find them now. Thanks

I'm running DW 20.1 on Mac OS 10.15.5.Lightroom worked like a dream on my old DW but on the latest DW it is crashing the program and things like the caption field do not accept text. The customer service at Ajatix is great and am working with them but I was just wondering if any other Mac users are having the same problems.
Ever since I updated to 20.1 from 19.2.1 my site the User Name and Password disappear from the Remote Server site definitions. Save is checked, I've checked all preferences. It is extremely annoying to have to dig up the archived site def for every site I want to work on and replace that information.
Hi all,I just finshed redesigning my website but am having a problem with mobile view. Here is the URL: http://www.davidabahm.com Every page is tiny, not adjusting on my phone as it does in the responsive live view in Dreamweaver and in browsers on my desktop when I resize the window. On the iPad it looks good. Is there something I've overlooked? I bet it's something really simple. Thanks for your help. Dave
Using DW 2020 15211 build and DW will not save the FTP user name and password for either the server or testing server. I have to enter the user name and password each time I use it. This appears to only be happening with 1 site,

Hey everyone - It's been a while since I've visted the DW forums, and I hope everyone is doing well. I'm trying to create an XML sitemap for my personal blog. I've tried the built-in XML sitemap generator in DWCS5, but that sitemap seems to be more for collaboration than search engines. I then tried an online XML generator, added the generated text to DW, saved it as .xml and uploaded the file. Everything looks okay, but the file won't validate, and I get the feeling I'm supposed to be adding something to the generated content. I've searched and searched but I'm not familiar at all with XML or Schema so I haven't found an answer yet. I cannot see any way to recover the right-hand half of the missing panel, which makes controlling the coding process very difficult. I have tried moving, closing/opening the panel. The problem remains whichever Workspace I use. So there is something wrong with the way that Panels are managed? Can anyone help. I am using DW6.

OK, I know I'm asking this question because I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to CSS but here goes.Many of the pages on my website (older ones created with GoLive) Are just <p> <img> <p> <img> and on and on.A page I am working on is all nice and centred and then I select a <p> and go "edit rule" and go to box and change it from auto to 800px. I do this so the text doesn't go all the way across the page which makes it hard to read. When I hit apply it changes the box but the whole page goes from being centered to being left justified. Everything on the page is up against the left border. What on earth is going on?
I'm tinkering with a project where the copy must be translated into two languages. There is no easy way to do this. But I want to share the site resources between the two sites, such as stylesheets and images. So I created symbolic links to these assets in one DW Site that point back to the original DW site. Seemed like it was working great, I was able to sync to the remote server (which is set up similarly with symbolic links). Left DW and came back in, and magically one of the Sites was gone from Site Manger. That's weird. I created the site again, all is well. Except now the first Site disappeared from Site Manager. Apparently if there are any symbolic links from one Site to another Site, DW gets confused and wipes one of them out. So that's a bummer. But there has to be a way to do this without keeping copies of shared assets and copying back and forth between sites? Any suggestions would be appreciated . Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way.
I'm trying to find out if Dreamweaver has this ability, built-in or by extension, where it shows the connecting lines between the open and close tags in code view. I've seen other editors with this ability and I could swear Dreamweaver had it around the time CC first made its debut. See the image for what I'm looking for. I've tried searching for it but can't find the name of what to call it so it makes it rather difficult to search. I know there are alternatives to this but I'm looking for this functionality in particular. Thanks.
I'm adding photos and text to DW 2020 to pages some of which were created in Go Live.When I add a <p> I get an annoying grey bar at the bottom of the text field as shown in the photo. Apart from making it hard to see the text, it sometimes stops me from selecting the text to edit it. Is this a bug or have I done something wrong to settings? (Just before it started I messed with the min-max settings.
Hi. I am creating a simple html website using Dreamweaver and I would like to create an image where the user can click on an icon within the image and a pop out window will be displayed with some information (for example a map of the world, and if you click on a Country a pop out box will appear with some data)I've looked at using Adobe XD but not sure how/if its possible to implement XD content into HTML pages.Would anybody have any suggestions as to what software would be best for this??Thanks.
Is there an extension manager that works with the latest version of Dreamweaver 2020? For Mac
1st time this has happened in many DW sites. Here's the deal:There are 15 images on the page.All images are saved in the same folder.In DW code/design view, all images are present and visible.When page is previewed in Chrome, all images are present.When page is FTP'ed to site, all images are listed in same folder.When site is viewed online, 7 of the images don't show up.Review of code for images that show and those that don't show indicates that it's identical save for name of image.Has anyone else had this happen? Were you able to fix? If so, how? Thanks for any input.
