I'm going through Dreamweaver CC Classroom In A Book, 2018 version.  there is a page in lesson 7 - "mygreen-styles.css" that I can't switch from code view to split or live view. I've tried this on both my desktop and also my laptop computers, and the result is the same.  I'm attaching two screen captures, perhaps they may provide some insight. Thank you!

I can't seem to get my code to resize smaller for the mobile than what is showing in the picture. Can anyone help?

I try to learn WordPress with "DreamWeaver CS5 with PHP" by David Powers running on Dreamweaver CS6 on Window 7.  Installed Apache24 that came with PHP7 and MySQL on the local server.  Ran into the same problem of "your php server doesn't have mysql module loaded or you cant use the mysql_(p)connect function".  Noticed in phpinfo.php there is no mysql but mysqli.  Besides re-intall an old version of the Apache with PHP5x, is there a way to fix this problem of  this problem?  Please be a little more detail than 1) Write your own mysqli functions and queries (how?)2) Buy a 3rd party extension for Dreamweaver which will replace the old Dreamweaver server behaviours (which ones?)jtkooI am a novice.

I've just started back using Dreamweaver and for some reason, my Live View is not updating as I make changes.  I have to close the page out and re-open it just to see it.  Not only that, when I am trying to move an item using margins, the items snaps back to where I originally moved it from.  I initially thought I was doing something wrong, but when I closed down the project and opened it up, my changes reflected. This is so frustrating, it has taken over an hour to do something that it would have only taken me a few minutes to do because I can't see the changes.  I am working on a Mac and I am updated to the latest OS (Cataline 10.15.3).  I also checked to make sure the DW software was updated and it is. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated! 

It happened in my school after I inserted a picture in the program. The left bottom of the picture says "I am sorry". I don't know what's happened to it. Please help

Hello,I have having great difficulty. My training and earlier work in Dreamweaver was a very long time ago (before it was adobe...lol) so it makes sense. I used to be able to create a animated gif (with just layer visibility on and off) and then drag it in. I have been working with timeline in Photoshop and created a "video" but I can't place it in a Dreamweaver page. I am guessing this is an easy one but it is confounding me. I tried a png, a gif, and an mp4 I have some familiarity with a variety of adobe products if anyone has a direct approach to getting a timeline psd placed into a Dreamweaver page please share.... as useful as this was with macromedia I find it hard to believe that decades later its’ not much more convenient especially since it’s the same app family/platform…

A few days ago, DW Design View was displaying a working web site for a local site I'm working on. I've managed to make some changes that prevent that from happening now. My site is also running a Coldfusion server, which was also functional and now is not. While it's not displaying in Dreamweaver, my site displays both HTML and CFML properly on localhost—a fully functional site. So, I'm guessing I have a setting or folder issue.  Any help would be appreciated. Glad to supply all the details you want. I did that earlier but didn't save my post and lost the text.  Thanks!John

Hi for some time now I can't launch Dreamweaver on my Macbook Pro.  The error message is: " The following Javascript error(s) occurred: Unable to open script file..." I've tried uninstalling all adobe products, clearing cache nothing helped. Did anyone had a similar problem and found a solution? Thanks,Kamil

I'm not really sure why I'm getting this error on dreamweaver. Everything seems to be running fine but I keep gettting this error. Anyone know why?

When I insert a Jquery tabbed panel the header where the tabs reside is way to large in the "y" direction.  I have tried to use the CSS Designer panel to adjust the header to no avail.  I just can't seem to find the adjustment anywhere.  A picture of my issue is below.  With Spry there was a tutorial on these adjustments.  Thanks,

Recently this issue has emerged. I have a template with some editable regions. The non-editable regions are the header, footer, etc. But whether it's existing pages based on this template or new pages created from this template, the non-editable regions are editable and not grayed out like they used to be.  The pages are still connected to the template because when I update the template, the pages also update to reflect the change. I didn't have this problem before.  What I've tried:* Updated to most recent Dreamweaver* Restarted Dreamweaver and the computer* Created a new page and made sure the box is checked that links it to the template when it's updated Nothing is fixing it. Ideas? Is it a bug? 

Hello, all, I'm used to working in Dw CS6, but am being forced to use Dw CC 2018 at work.  Of the long list of annoyances I have with Dw CC 2018 is how whenever I type " or ', it automatically adds a closing " or '. How do I prevent this from happening? V/r, ^ _ ^

Dans mon dossier principal j'ai un dossier script et j'ai mon fichier serpent.js dans ce dossier. En haut je vois qu'il est lié, j'ai "Code source", "favico.icon", "mon_site.css" et "serpent.js"Quand je glisse la page ou je veux que mon jeu s'affiche, tout ce que j'ai mis en html et css affiche, mais pas le jeu.Est ce qu'il y aurait quelqu'un qui pourrait m'aider? Hi guys,I was just wondering if anyone would know how to do this, with PHP - I used to mess around with PHP  on an old site, but have forgotten most of it...   Here's what I need to do - I want to place the same internal link on several dozen different pages on my site (we might call these pages A1, A2, A3 etc), which will all direct the users to the same page (page 'B') - however when they arrive at page B, I need it to display an entire page of 'unique' product info, relevent only to the (various A1, A2, A3 etc) pages they clicked through from.   Hope that makes sense.eg.  If page A1 was about apples, then once they clicked the internal link through to page B, they would see apples displayed, on page B.   But if they clicked through from page A2, which was about oranges - they would instead see oranges on page B.  I know this is achievable, I just dont remember the code that is needed to do it.   Any thoughts, or even a link to a tuto

I recently updated to Dreamweaver 20.0 and now I cannot set-up include files for access.  Going into the Apps, Default apps, set defaults by apps, Dreamweaver, manage - include files are not listed.   How can I add the file extension to Dreamweaver.  I've read that I can edit the extension.txt file, but can't find it.

You may be able to throw some light or want to throw some on light on the rather interesting thread/s going on in the Wappler forum about 'shopping carts' - data store, etc Some posters have quite correctly highlighted the issue of sending the 'product price' via the client-side generated js form, as it's been well known for years it is open to manipulation. Other posters have said you should get and check the price from your database BUT that, as far as I know, makes zero difference as you will always end up with a client-side generated form containing prices BEFORE  it gets sent to your payment gateway - same problem - form prices can be easily manipulated. The only secure way I know is to send the data from the payment form to the payment gateway of your choice and then get the form variables back from the payment gateway THEN check the prices in your database. When I set up sites, with server login passwords, on my desktop they don't sync over to my laptop. Also when Dreamweaver gets a major update they all dissappear and have to be reentered. I'm working on macOS High Sierra. 

I'm not getting the SCSS to compile in Dreamweaver, I'm getting a  Ignoring ffi-1.9.18 because its extensions are not built. Try: gem pristine ffi --version 1.9.18 Anyone seeing this?   Only thing I can think of is I have a couple node SCSS compilers installed globally and maybe there is a conflict? Insights are appreciated.

Hi, I noticed that Adobe Dreamweaver has been logging a lot of '.wakeup_resource.diag' files in my console recently. I have a Macbook Pro 2019. Does anyone know what may be causing this issue? The logs are for the CEPHtmlEngine, CEPHtmlEngine Helper and Dreamweaver. I've also noticed that my log reports section in the Console is filling up with a lot of adobe creative cloud reports in general while running adobe apps including "ACC.log", "CoreSync.log", "PDApp.log", "CC Library Process.log", "NGLClient_Dreamweaver.log", "CC Library Panel DRWV.log" and "CCX Process.log". The ACC.log keeps repeating a lot of the same errors, such as "02/14/20 13:14:12:212 | [WARN] | 5833 | CCD | Core | ExternalGateway | | Core | 314037 | 501 | There is no entry found for the request Id - 783B7DFF-A07B-4596-9848-DDB4E13EF853". The log is already over 12 mb from using the app the past couple days. Is there a way to stop the logging or figure out if there is bug in the app that is causing a lot of logg
