My computer's hard drive died today and it had Dreamweaver on it. I'm going to be getting a new computer and need to authorize it on my new computer but don't know how to deautherize it on a computer that no longet boots up. Could someone please help me with this?

Ich habe einem alten Rechner (mit Windows 7), auf dem DW CS6 installiert ist. Dort war früher DW5.5 installiert, ich hatte mit dem Kauf einer Upgrade-Liezens auf CS6 umgestellt. Für beide Produkte habe ich Rechnungen, beide sind bei Adobe auf mich registriert.Damals gab es schon Probleme, weil irgendwo etwas mit den Versionen 5 und 5.5 durcheinander war. Der Support hat mir dann geholfen und seit dem lief CS6 einwandfrei. Nun möchte ich den alten Rechner ersetzen und DW CS6 auf einem neuen Rechner unter Windows 10 installieren. Die Installationsdatei (Dreamweaver_12_LS4) habe ich noch. Im Verlauf der Installation wurde die Serienummer der CS6 abgefragt und dann ging das gleiche Spiel wieder los wie damals auf dem alten Rechner:Meldung: Die angegebene Serienummer ist zwar gültig, auf dem Computer wurde aber kein als Berechtigungsnachweis geeignetes Produkt gefunden.Als Berechtigungsnachweis soll ich dann eine Seriennummer eingeben. Hey lads, I can make really cool animated buttons in Adobe Animate, which I would like to use on my website made in Dreamweaver. Is this even possible? If so, how do I go about it? There doesn't seem to be a seamless import function in Dreamweaver and making similarly animated buttons in Dreamweaver is a huge pain in the buttocks. Thanks!

How do I enable the bootstrap template options in Dreamweaver CC 2019? This is what I want to do: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/bootstrap.html However in my new version of Dreamweaver (CC 2019) there is no option to select bootstrap as a framework when I create new document: Any ideas? Can anyone suggest why the option to associate a git repository is grayed out and I am unable to select it? I do remember that it was available before i installed git on my PC.I am running DR CC 2017 on PC

I did a restore on my iMac and now Dreamweaver 4 comes up with an error message when I launch it and then quits. The error message starts with "Licensing for this product has stopped working...." and then ends with "Error: 150:30". The progam then launches and then quits.Anyone know how to fix this?

For those of you interested in a simple to use animation timeline with an interaction builder, the Pinegrow team created an add-on called "Pinegrow Interactions". It looks like a modernized DW timeline, and with similar features compared to the now defunct Edge Animate.   To clarify, this is not a DW addon, but an addon for Pinegrow.   One potential drawback is that Pinegrow Interactions is only available as rental software, however. No perpetual license, unlike Pinegrow itself.

I'm using Dreamweaver 2020 and I was trying to select multiple cells in a new table and it was not possible like in DW 2018. I want to select some cells to merge. Something changed in the way to select multiple cells in 2020 or there is a problem with the new version?

Hi groupI am using dreamweaver cs3. I cant seem to create email links that work. When rollin over them , they appear to be a link, but clicking on them produces no reaction. I would appreciate any ideas you can offer.Thanks

I'm running DW 19.2.1 build 11281 on Win 10. I have found that when I click File\Real-time Preview (Chrome) I have at best inconsistent opening of the "Real-time" browser. Many times I get an error, sometimes just a blank page. This is all occurring while the HTML content is displayed (and functions correctly) in DW Live. Even if I Save All first, I may end up with an error. Most of the time closing DW and reopening fixes the issue, but not always. Any fix for this?

Is there a Collapse All function for the Code section? Or, even better, a way to "Collapse All <div>"?  

Having an issue with the preview icon in the document toolbar not doing anything, no pop up or QR code. Only way I've managed to fix the issue is reinstall which is annoying because it bugs out quite often.macOS Catalina 10.15.1 Update: Ok, so reseting prefrences fixes the issue. I removed my preferences when I uninstalled which is why it fixed the issue initially. Still happening though, trying to get to the bottom of it. Note: It breaks after quitting and relaunching Dreamweaver Update: Deleted the old site and made a new one, can no longer replicate the issue.

I have a nuisance issue. For the last several versions of dreamwweaver when ever I boot the program there is an old folder that is always opened in my files list and I want it to remain closed. It is the same folder and I can;t see any setting that would default to it being the opened folder. Just a nusiance that drives me a little batty. IS there a way to set folders opened or closed? 

A couple of wesks ago I posted that Dreamweaver broke my HTMLI received a very helpful answer that these two lines in the <head> of my template were causing a conflict:<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../bootstrap/3/css/bootstrap.min.css" />    <script type="text/javascript" src="../bootstrap/3/js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>- so I commented them out and all was wonderful until yesterday morning when they suddenly popped up again although I hadn't even opened the template.They've even embedded themselves inside the editable areas of the <head> on my pages and whatever I do I cannot get rid of them!Every time I either delete or comment them out - as soon as I save the template or individual page they immediately appear again.Can anybody help PLEASE?  It's driving me to distraction and has basically broken a very important client site.Many thanks for any help.

I am new to Dreamweaver and do not have good eyesite. Is it possible to enlarge the view for Local/Remote Server inside Dreamweaver, (the files that I am working with) Like you do in a browser I would just us Ctrl +.Thank you,

I have a website that opens fine in 2018, but freezes (and stays frozen) when I open the index.htm file in Split View, with there being a YouTube video as the background. Removing the code it opens fine. Should have updated to DW 6 some years ago but old and not doing much. - Anyway, am unable to reach the server of Ionos for my 5 or so sites. I'm trying to use Filezila... and appear to be reaching the 1 & 1 server. Is there an alternative to Dreamweaver as I now simply want to reach my site at 1 & 1 to stay in control and probably take down over the next 6 months or so - I'm getting quite old and it is getting a lot beyond me. Is ther an "FTP app" that might fit into DW 5. I started with, I seem to recall, a free copy of DW3 on the front of a PC/Web Magazine many many years a go.   May I say thanks in anticipation and hope I with the right community

I'm a student making a website with an insanely low budget of  $20.00 and I am planning on using Adobe Dreamweaver and the rest of the Creative Cloud suite on the free trial for a week(yes I am going to make a website in a week) and I am planning on not buying or taking any payment plan-I am just gonna use the software for free then remove it when the trial ends. My question is will the website I make in dreamweaver still work after I remove Dreamweaver from my PC? Because once I finish the site then I am use Microsoft Azure DNS and Microsoft Azure CDN to host it so will I still need Dreamweaver for to keep the site running?If you see this post after December 1st of 2019, then don't reply because by then my deadline will be over.

Hi,after years of using CS6 it's the first time in v2020 – using the live browser preview. Thought, DW saves changes in the background and reloads the web page in the browser in the background, too. But each time, eg after typing some chars and making a short break, I will be asked to save my changes:That's not the "sense" of this function, isn't it?  thanks a lot!mycc

Buongiorno a tuttiHo installato Dreamweaver 20 ( versione di prova ) ma non é possibile creare una connessione a DB in quanto non compare la voce database nel menu finestra. Inoltre nel menu inserisci mancano anche le voci riguardanti ai recordset . Devo installare qualche estensione? Grazie
