Running Windows 10 and Dreamweaver CC 2020. The Real Time Preview WILL launch a browser with the page in it, however it does NOT update as I make changes in code. This is a fresh install of DW 2020. In troubleshooting, I also downloaded the last version (2019) and in that version the Real Time Update DOES work. I went so far as to completely reinstall my whole PC with fresh Windows 10, fresh Dreamweaver. When I first ran DW the Windows Defender Firewall popped up saying it was blocking access to something, so I ALLOWED the firewall to pass that through. (I even tried turning it off with no change) Interestingly, the QR code part of Real Time Preview DOES work. I can see text change in real time on a browser on my phone as I change text in code, I just can't do that on browsers on my PC (Edge, Firefox or Chrome). To recap:DW 2019 will do the Real Time Preview on my PCDW 2020 will do the RTP on my phone via the QR codeDW 2020 will not do the RTP on my PC. I downloaded the Creative Cloud desktop to check it out and now my Dreamweaver CS6 won't launch or start-up it does nothing. Creative Cloud listed as an app in task manager and several adobe processes running in the background but no Dreamweaver anywhere. Any ideas of what to do? 

Hello,I am missing the Target button in the properties panel in Dreamweaver 6.I did have the display at 150%, and I have tried resetting to 100% and restarting both dreamweaver and my computer, but it has made no difference.Can anyone help

So I have some boxed in testimonials on a website I am building. I am trying to only show three at a time, and have them automatically alternate or rotate on the screen. I've played with different carousel setups, or even setting it up like a slideshow, but I already have a slideshow on the page, and that seems to throw everything off. Any suggestions, ideas, etc. would be greatly appreciated. If there is already a post on this, which I am sure there is, I missed it and would welcome a link to said conversation.

I'm not an experienced Dreamweaver user--meaning I use Dreamweaver to work on a website designed by my predecessor.  On most of our pages we include a lightbox gallery of photos related to the page topic.  Whenever I needed to create a new page, I took an existing one, resaved it under a new name, and then modified what needed to be modified to make the new page.   So to create the new gallery, I went into the lightbox grid on my page, deleted the contents of each gridbox, then added back in each new thumbnail and linked it to the full-size image.  But now with Dreamweaver 2020 I can't do that any more.   I need to create a new page that includes a six photo grid, 3x2.  I do what I normally do and everything looks fine.  But for starters, since the 2020 update, the live view no longer features a workable lightbox gallery...I click the thumbnails and nothing happens, so I can't test before uploading to the remote server.  When I do that I get to t

It used to be when I opened the color picker and clicked on the "hex" option, it would give me swatches of web safe colors. Now it just gives me the same interface as the RGB one. Most of the time, I just want a basic red, gray, black, white, etc., but now I have to hunt and peck for the right color.Anyway to get the simple swatches back?

Hello,I have a link in a file called ridiculousstudios.html, and the link references index.html, another file in my website. However, whenever that link references index.html, it turns purple, even if my css for the link sets all text-decoration to none. If I change the link to reference something else, it will turn the appropriate color.

What can be found is CS5 version in https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/archive.html. Where is the API reference and extending documentation for CC 2020? Thanks.

Hi.With the previous versions of Dreamweaver cc2019, I created the imanifest, for the upload of E-learnning content in SCORM, with ManifestMaker.For the cc2019 version I can not find the ManifestMaker executable nor the way to do the imanifest.You know where I can find the executable.Thank you.

Current install is Dreamweaver 19.2, but we need to roll back to 2014 (V 15) or 2015 (V 16) so that the version matches the textbooks we have.   When I try clicking 'other versions' from the Apps menu it only shows (20.0) or (19.2.1). 

bootstrap not working

My computer's hard drive died today and it had Dreamweaver on it. I'm going to be getting a new computer and need to authorize it on my new computer but don't know how to deautherize it on a computer that no longet boots up. Could someone please help me with this?

Ich habe einem alten Rechner (mit Windows 7), auf dem DW CS6 installiert ist. Dort war früher DW5.5 installiert, ich hatte mit dem Kauf einer Upgrade-Liezens auf CS6 umgestellt. Für beide Produkte habe ich Rechnungen, beide sind bei Adobe auf mich registriert.Damals gab es schon Probleme, weil irgendwo etwas mit den Versionen 5 und 5.5 durcheinander war. Der Support hat mir dann geholfen und seit dem lief CS6 einwandfrei. Nun möchte ich den alten Rechner ersetzen und DW CS6 auf einem neuen Rechner unter Windows 10 installieren. Die Installationsdatei (Dreamweaver_12_LS4) habe ich noch. Im Verlauf der Installation wurde die Serienummer der CS6 abgefragt und dann ging das gleiche Spiel wieder los wie damals auf dem alten Rechner:Meldung: Die angegebene Serienummer ist zwar gültig, auf dem Computer wurde aber kein als Berechtigungsnachweis geeignetes Produkt gefunden.Als Berechtigungsnachweis soll ich dann eine Seriennummer eingeben. Hey lads, I can make really cool animated buttons in Adobe Animate, which I would like to use on my website made in Dreamweaver. Is this even possible? If so, how do I go about it? There doesn't seem to be a seamless import function in Dreamweaver and making similarly animated buttons in Dreamweaver is a huge pain in the buttocks. Thanks!

Can anyone suggest why the option to associate a git repository is grayed out and I am unable to select it? I do remember that it was available before i installed git on my PC.I am running DR CC 2017 on PC

I did a restore on my iMac and now Dreamweaver 4 comes up with an error message when I launch it and then quits. The error message starts with "Licensing for this product has stopped working...." and then ends with "Error: 150:30". The progam then launches and then quits.Anyone know how to fix this?

For those of you interested in a simple to use animation timeline with an interaction builder, the Pinegrow team created an add-on called "Pinegrow Interactions". It looks like a modernized DW timeline, and with similar features compared to the now defunct Edge Animate.   To clarify, this is not a DW addon, but an addon for Pinegrow.   One potential drawback is that Pinegrow Interactions is only available as rental software, however. No perpetual license, unlike Pinegrow itself.
