I'm starting to plan an eventual update to 10.15 (Catalina).  Dreamweaver 19.2.1 includes a 32-bit component:   /Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2019/Adobe Dreamweaver 2019.app/Contents/MacOS/Dreamweaver ImageHelper.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobePSL.framework/Versions/A/Required/AdobeQTServer.app/Contents/MacOS/AdobeQTServer   I have no idea what this does -- will it affect DW on Catalina?   [Use the reply button under the first post to ensure replies sort properly.]

Last time I looked at Dreamweaver was about 15 years ago. It was more of a WYSIWYG web builder. I get the impression it is now more of a code editor like Sublime, Brackets, BBEdit etc?  

I am a beginner with dreamweaver and got my site to a place where I was happy with it except for one page in MS Edge.  This page works how it should on Chrome and Explorer, on laptop and phone, but not in edge.  It puts one of the column to the side of the page taking up about 3/4s of it and then groups the other 5 columns together wrapping them (they are suppose to wrap when adapting to screen size)Should be but shows like this Is there a specific code that I should be using for edge and what part of the code would be helpful to fix this. This is a brief overview of what I have done.  It is probably user error, but just can not find it.  I would be grateful of any suggestions. <section class="information">   <article      class="info">     <p>Sales and Marketing are often lumped together.  But they're two different disciplines. I am trying to create a logon dialog for a Dreamweaver (DW) website that incorporates SSL on GoDaddy. The website is created with some content but I want to control access to the site with a typical logon dialog that gathers userID and passWord. I understand that this will necessitate a connection to a database on the website. The idea would be to intercept any attempt to access content on the website and redirect to the logon dialog until such time as the user has logged on successfully. This would also require a means of authenticating new user requests. I'm guessing that this will require either substantial code developed with DW on the website or implementation of an application extension of some sort. Using Dreamweaver CS 19.2.1 build 11281. I also have the Adobe Creative Cloud applications in case any of those might help.  Thanks in advance for assistance.

I am trying to use an SVG exported from Illustrator and imported to Dreamweaver. And somewhere in that process, I must select areas (rectangles) which connect to URL tags. Can anyone help with this?Rick

Every time I open Dreamweaver I get this error: Node.js Server-side JavaScript has stopped working This is a new issue that has just started to happen and it makes the program very unstable and cannot be used.

I noticed just yesterday, that after updating the latest Adobe CC application, I can no longer open files using "open with". This goes for all CC applications that I've tried - Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat. 

I have inserted a background image for my background.   When I insert an image on top of my background - there is a gray area all around my image. I only want the image to be present - not this gray area that extends past my image covers up my background..   Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ken

Ver 19.2.1 does not update the preview pane even though code was directly edited. I'm not talking about images or script...I'm talking about text. 19.2.1 is a pig in terms of performance. Premiere, After Effects, Audition still rocket fast. Dreamweaver is after this update slow and unresponsive.   Not going to uninstall reinstall. This sounds like a really stupid question but can I search the files in the local view in the Files pane (CS6)? It's getting to be a real PITA to scroll through 1000 files.

Solved, by restarting dreamweaver [Forgive me if I am wrong, but I thought the purpose of "]Apply Source Formatting" is to rewrite the code (html) according the preferences settings. When I run this on a html page, dreamweaver is deleting all indents instead of cleaning up the indents or adding extra indents where necessary.This especially concern my students as I substract points, when they deliver non-indented code 😉

Hi everyone..Ive a bit of a problem Im trying to ge rid of an amazon ad on my homepage and 2/3 other pages of my site. I tried last night and ended up with a white blank screen though my provider sorted it for me now afraid of touching the page again as dont know what I did to cause this. Could anyone help me out with this...?WIll pasting the script from the top of one of my other pages over this not just clear it..? Heres the index.htm www.jlgtuition.com Top of the page... Thanks for any help... James

Hello: For no apparent reason, DW CS crashes today, every time I attempt to log on and then select a directory to open. I need to connect with a technician to tell/show me how to get DW to not crash every time I attempt to open a directory. It's crashed eight times in six minutes, then twice more after I logged out then back in and tried again to open a directory. I can't meet deadlines if I cannot open my directories to work on them! [Note: Running Mac OS 10.14 Mojave on an iMac] Thanks for your assistance in learning how to connect with and screen-share with a technician. Warren

Hi! I brought my page up in Dreamweaver 2019. It's in Code View. I want to see it in Code/Design split, but when I click on SPLIT> CODE-DESIGN, nothing happens. What do I do? Thank you. 

we will soon begin using kronos work force ready HR platform. My question. Kronos says they can export via URL link our job postings to our company website. I'm a little leary about the style and formatting. Anyone familiar?

Over the past few weeks I've been having a lot of problems with the user interface in Dreamweaver. Everything works fine when I first open the program but after a short while I find that I can't select items from the menu as they're all greyed out, I can't use the scrollbar in Local or Remote View, I can't refresh the file list either using right-click or F5, and a couple of time it has completely reset my Workspace and I've had to add all my panels back in again and reinstall plugins. The only way to get the user interface working again is to restart the program. Anyone else experiencing this, and is there a solution? 

Hello, I have a problem when I'm publishing my website. I created another row with 2 columns underneath another row with 3 columns. SUDDENLY dreamweaver is new 19.0.1 and I have not worked on my site for 2 yearsand all I need is the upload service for client files and I have a new High Sierra and thereis no clue where my .ste files are to import site, nor do they appear in File>Find>.steand every other DW version has kept the site so I'm stupidly lost.I thought it would be with my home version of my site, but see no .ste anywhere in there.Maybe it's buried deep in some folder?Do what please?

Hi everyone i have problem with my dreamweaver19 when i want to creat a new site it's not showing the sitesetup so i find the site in manage sites but when it's done it's saying : no local root folder exist so how i can chose the location folder when the SiteSetup window not showing ? I'm new at GREP & Regular Expressions (regex). I've searched here and found what I thought was a solution but I can't get it to do what I want it to. Basically, Using "Find and Replace in Files" I need to find all URL links in a set of files and modify/replace all the  code before and after the URL, but leave the URL intact. I want to replace the code colored red:<a href="https://www.myfancywebsite.com"> With this:<a href="#" onclick="cordova.InAppBrowser.open ('https://www.myfancywebsite.com', '_system', 'location=yes');"> I tried doing this by creating a subexpression with wildcard character set but it didn't work. Clearly I'm not getting this at all...I tried using this as the search: <a href="https://([.+\b])">  And this as the replace:<a href="#" onclick="cordova.InAppBrowser.open ('https://([.+\b])', '_system', 'location=yes');"> Is this even possible? Hi I'm having an issue with a website - we recently upgraded to Dreamweaver 18 and I'm having an issue with rollover images which will be used as hyperlinks.When I add the rollover buttons in Dreamweaver they appear as broken images.When I preview them in live view or in a browser they look fine. Any ideas why they are appearing as broken images? see below 

Document window does not load completely, and if it does then program freezes while in use. help?  

I'm trying to edit some big .css files, (about 400 KB).  I only have one file open.  If I try to edit text, each keystroke takes between 15 and 30 seconds to register. Does anyone have any suggestions?  It's a new, clean install, and seems to work fine with small files.
