After saving the file in Dreamweaver and selecting the Real-time Preview option, for example, with Brave as the browser, instead of the file name, I see the following code: "127.0.0.1:5381/preview/app/index.html," and the preview remains blank.

I am experiencing a issue with one of my website I designed.  One of the links are returning "File Not Found 404 error".  I have notice that the link is actuallly missing a letter, in the spelling.  How do I fix this problem? Regards,Morris Davis

Good morning!In previous versions of Dreamweaver (CS6 for example), the search/replace box had the option to perform the search/replace in either code view or design view. My agency often recieves large batches of files (in the thousands) from another agency where things like quotes and ampersands are not escaped. By performing the search/replace in design view, it was easy to remediate hundreds of files at once without affecting things like quotes in attributes. I've tried to repeat this process in DW 2021, but I can't seem to confine the search to design view no matter what I try. Where has this option been hidden?

Hello Adobe,  I have a few question concerting the files being loading are not showing in my web pages. I have already check with my Host (Cloud) and see if they recieved any uploads from my editing to the pages. They said no, the haven't seen a upload recently. I tried uploading only new and delete the old file from the web pages but that didn't work. Also check the Root Directary which is the same. I haven't changed any setting our edits to the local files, I don't know what happened. 

Hi Forum I have just taken over assisting our clubs website, though I do not know that much, but am getting there. All I have is just the clubs' old PC with dreamweaver installed on it and the legal dreamweaver CS3 CD box with the dreamweaver software disks and software registration details. The club has just purchased a new PC as the old one is now very old and I have just tried to move our current licenced Dreamweaver CS3 software onto the new PC but the software is not connecting to your system when asking for an activation key. On searching the web it appears you have disabled the system to allow activation so we cannot activate the software and move it. I also found on the web that you released a standalone option for dreamweavere cs3 users last year however we never got that message as our club does not have great administration and record keeping.  It looks like your option is to update to the latest CS version but that is way too expensive for our club as our club onl

I recently got a laptop upgrade at work, and I was moved from DW CS6 to DW 2021. Everything works fine, but when I try to go into Preferences, it crashes the program. I contacted other users in my agency who use DW 2021, and apparently, everyone has this same issue. I've tried resetting preferences, but it didn't help. Any ideas as to why we're all having this issue?

When I exit Dreamweaver, after pretty normal activity, I get an error message that access to an "unnamed" file is defined. What causes this distraction?

I have version 21.3 of Dreamweaver. I cannot find how to insert an AP or "floating" Div into a page. It used to be part of the drop down menu for "INSERT" but I can't find it anywhere and the online chat people are clueless. And there is no phone support for DW. HELP!

Hello,So I love using Dreamweaver with Greensock but the latest upgrade seem to be not working. Adobe Dreamweaver 21.3 Split View or Design preview not working with Greensock (gasp.min.js)Adobe Dreamweaver 20.2.1 Split View (preview) works. I am not sure what changed or how to fix it.

If I highlight text, then either cut or copy, then attempt to paste somewhere else in the same document, it doesn't paste anything. It acts like nothing happened when I either type ctrl+v or use Edit<Paste.The only way it will paste what I just cut/copied is if I cut or copy that same text again. Once I do that, I will be able to paste that same text over and over.So, it always treats the first cut/copy of a particular snippet as invalid. This happens in any document, even a new one.Example:Hello, my name is Mike.1) I highlight that text above.2) I cut.3) I attempt to paste elsewhere in the document.4) It doesn't paste anything.5) I go back and undo the cut, then highlight that text again.6) I attempt to paste. It now works. I can paste that a third time if I choose so.7) I then cut different text and attempt to paste. It doesn't paste anything. Rinse, repeat.Using: Dreamweaver CS6 (Version 12.0 Build 5861)

Tengo un problema con Dreamweaver, una vez maquetado el trabajo, guardado y todo, al previsualizar Sí se previsualiza, lo hace bien, pero de inmediato me abre las páginas de Adobe diciendo me hay un error en la previsualización, pero no lo hay, sin embargo, al subir mis archivos a mi sitio ¡no se ve nada más que el fondo! sin duda es el error que nota Dreamweaver al previsualizar, pero ninguna de las opciones resuelva mi problema. es decir: Previsualizo, si se ve pero me indica un error que no sé cómo resolver. ¿alguien que me pueda ayudar?

Hello, I had to reinstall CS6 after a computer crash. Now when I open any page, unformatted text shows up as nonsense characters, like they have been mis-mapped. This happens regardless of how I change page properties. Font in any format other than no format shows up correctly. If I highlight the text and make it bold or italics for example it displays correctly.Even <em></em> is right. I have done nothing with the preferences, everything is default. All my pages were created in CS6 and all displayed properly before I installed it again. Notice that the text in italics on 6. shows properly. I haven't found a page yet that this doesn't happen on.

Hallo,seit neustem kann ich einzelne Dateien nicht mehr auf meinen Server hochladen.Passwort und Co. sind richtig, da viele Daten problemlos bereitgestellt werden. Allerdings ist es - vorallem bei Fotos im .png Format - auf einmal nicht mehr möglich diese hochzuladen. Doch an den Daten wurde nichts verändert und noch vor ein paar Wochen wurden diese Daten problemlos bereitgestellt.Folgender Fehler tritt laut Programm auf:"Die Dateiübertragung ist aus den folgenden Gründen fehlgeschlagen:- Interner Datenfehler: Die Größe der übertragenen Datei entspricht nicht der erwarteten Dateigröße."Was kann ich tun?Viele Grüße und Danke!

Put will not work in Dreamweaver: "An FTP error occurred - cannot make connection to host. User limit reached or not authorized to make the connection due to local firewall. I'm not running any firewalls locally.  Any idea what this could be?

In an old version of Dreamweaver I could see the properties from a page that I was working on.How to open in the newest version this option?Here a printscreen to sow what I mean.Thanks on beforehand. 

Having trouble with Adobe apps (especially DW 21.3) on the MacPro 10.14.6DW loads normally but can't open site files already created.The primary (and only) drive is not the standard internal drive, is an internal 2.5" sata drive via a pci slot. Should I remove all Adobe apps currently in my “Applications” folder and reinstall them via the Creative Cloud app? Please Advise? Thank You!

Help! It's been so long since I've done any work in Dreamweaver, and it's all different now. AND I'm using SQL Azure for my database. I've figured out how to build the database in Azure; I've gotten a Web app stood up in Azure. I've gotten Dreamweaver to connect to my web app. I've gotten a system DSN set up, and that works.  Hooray! But what about a connection to the database? I'm trying to enable all the lovely dynamic-site features that Dreamweaver (used to?!) has... and cannot figure out how to connect!  Help?
