I'm searching an code hinting (auto-completion) for the Wordpress API in Dreamweaver's code view (as on NetBeans IDE).Anyone knows if is available an extension for this, compatible with DW 2017.5?

The latest 9878 build breaks the real time preview icon at the bottom right of an open window. I can still use F12 or CTRL F12 to call up the primary and secondary, but I like to test the real time previews on 5 browsers. I can go to File - Real Time Preview and get it from there. So far that seems to be the only thing that jumps out.

Hi There.I installed the new update just now.Once I did that, suddenly my testing server and sass compiler stopped working.I had a very specific configuration - I work with sass and testing server so on each save - the file compiles to cssand then put it into the server.Once I installed the new update - everything stoppoed working.So I had to roll back one version.Does any one know of this?Thanks!Guy

Is there a way for two people to work on an HTML document at the same time in Dreamweaver and for it to update live. I want to make a website with a friend and wanted us to both be able to be working on it at the same time. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Where is the search and find "specific tag with attribute" feature?This was the most important feature I use in Dreamweaver?I use this to strip out classes and ids from my code?

Version: Dreamweaver CC 2017.5OS: Windows 10In earlier versions of Dreamweaver (e.g. Dreamweaver CS6) I had the ability to do a keyboard shortcut for applying multiple CSS classes to selected text and used that shortcut dozens of times every day. With Dreamweaver CC it appears Adobe removed the ability to apply multiple classes with no real explanation to why.With new versions of Dreamweaver what is the easiest method of applying multiple classes to a tag?For example, if I wanted to apply two classes to a paragraph tag the easiest method I can come up with is to add a class attribute to the paragraph tag with the two classes I want to apply to that tag.In CS6 I could press Ctrl+Alt+C (my custom keyboard shortcut), type in the two classes I wanted and press Enter.

Hi Guys,I have not seen this problem before. I have content inside a basic div tag about 3 or 4 columns wide. When I click on either handle, it expands across the page and removes any formatting inside the tag.  What would be causing this? Using CC2017Thank you.

When I change a file, the "Update Files" dialog box pops up to let me know which other files will be effected, but the dialog box is too small to see the entire filename, and it can't be re-scaled, so it is useless. Anybody know a fix for this or a work around?

Using Dreamweaver CC 2017 and I'm trying to find a way to keep all visual aids disabled. I'm familiar with the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+I to disable all visual aids, but it only disables the visual aids for the page I'm viewing. If I open another page the visual aid for the <article></article> tags re-appear.I've also gone into VIew>Design View Options>Visual Aids and have unchecked ALL of the visual aids option but the visual aid for the <article> tags can only be hidden by using the shortcut or choosing the option to hide all Visual Aids.If anyone has ideas on how to disable the visual aids on the <article> tag permanently it would be appreciated.

A week ago a dialog box popped up in my Dreamweaver asking if I wanted to test out a new extension for Git within Dreamweaver. I clicked 'no' but now I want to try using it and cannot seem to find anything about it now! Was I hallucinating? Did anyone else see this or try it?

(and others)Other development tools like IntelliJ, Netbeans, ... have this feature already implemented.Users should be able to commit/pull files, watch the history of files, revert files, manage branches, etc...Thanks

We recently increased security on a web server to only accept certain ciphers in order to make our box more secure. However, after making this change, users can no longer upload in Dreamweaver. If we revert the change, the user has no issues. For more information, we had a user who had been using PuTTY before to upload files with no issues. After the change, the user was experiencing issues, but we determined that was because they were using a PuTTY version that didn't have ciphers listed as an option in PuTTY's configuration (see screenshot below). After upgrading the users to the newest client, the were back up and running.I've contacted Adobe about this, but the employee asked me what ciphers were, so I knew I wasn't going to have any luck.Can anyone provide insight on the Dreamweavers' encryption or (even better) the ciphers supported by the product.

Hello,I did the Raven theme for Brackets. Raven Dark is using colors from the older versions of that theme. I recently updated the colors to reflect the original Dreamweaver CC 2015 theme. They are slightly darker and in my opinion, easier to read.  Just thought the Dreamweaver team should know!Thank you!

Is it possible to house the navigation in a separated page which then gets pulled into each page in Dreamweaver.Or am I forced to go thru the entire website adjusting the NAV on each page?Muse has a nice function for housing the HEADER and FOOTER in a separated page, where you then just adjust in one place and it's reflected across the site.Thanks,Alldaron

We have CC2015 and CC2017 but have the same issue on both.our set up is a device licence model rather then per user so the previous solutions of logging off and leaving 15 mins before logging back on with a CC account will not work under this setup.As you can see below, Extract is left at the loading stage and will not progress any further.My question is whether the Extract option is available under a device CC licence model ?ThanksAndy

hi,i am using dreamweaver cc on mac os sierra and this really is an odd one I have created a website with external links e.g. <a href="www.freebmd.org.uk">FreeBMD<\a> in a ul list.However after I loaded the website to the internet and click on the link you just get a 404 error and there are 8 other links that do not work.I checked the page in dreamweaver and tested the links offline but they did not work there either but I was able to copy/paste the url into safari/opera/chrome and firefox and they work. It gets odder as I created the web page in Aptana, tested the links and they worked.  Has anyone in the universe ever had this type of issue or am I the first????Any help gratefully received.Steve Hawkes

So, my website, www.dennyxsoloist.com isn't allowing me to click on external links. Now when I right click the links, they work but when I go to click on the actual icon, they don't do anything. I've tried linking them in properties, css design. I don't know what else to do. I tripled checked the links and the codes, it even says my external links are all broken in the check links section but when I click to open url in browser it works just fine.
