I am looking for a basic solution to populating database information into a website. I have attempted to follow tutorials on the Adobe website and came to a dead end when the databases panel could not be found. The reality is I am a complete beginner and not even sure what type of tutorials I should be looking for. Here are the basics of what I would like to do.I have a database that only has 4 or 5 columns, around 4,000 rows. A few columns specify a category, one column shows the text I would like to appear on the site, and the other column contains a link to a webpage I would like visitors to access. I initially planned on creating 60 web pages (based on column category), and manually adding the text and hyperlink to each page. I am thinking it may be easier if I created one page that would just populate the data depending on what the visitor selected as filters. I have no need for visitors to interact with the database other than just retrieving the information. The data I have in t

Please bare with me as I am very new to dreamweaver. I created an entire website from scratch, very proud of myself, but now I've uploaded it onto my server and the ajx menu I found and inserted into the template files for my site does not look the way it does when I view it on dreamweaver. I think it is where I have it housed in my folder on the computer but I can't find anything online telling me where it needs to be saved to operate correctly in my files. Can anyone help me that knows how to do this correctly or knows HTML to see what I have set up incorrectly? Any help is greatly appreciated at this point in time. I have used the usual media queries to produce a responsive WEB design but I am having a little trouble.If I use:@media only screen and (max-width: 700px)  {I can only detect a window on a PC that has been reduced in width to less than 700px. The problem is that the max width of smart phones is as wide as a PC screen and all that happens is that the display on a phone is too small to read.It seems to me that I need to detect the dimension of the screen in cm. My media queries work properly and give the correct results within Dreamweaver CC and by adjusting the width of the window on a PC. The display on a phone is the same as on a PC except that it is too small to read properly.I have seen a lot of discussions on the WEB on this issue and on calculating the width of a phone screen but nothing that is easily used with HTML/CSS.Any suggestions?ThanksJack

A few days ago i posted a reply saying that i would now use css grid and flexbox layouts.The reason i wrote that was that after experimenting, i found that by using @support i could create a flexbox fallback for none grid supporting browsers very easily using the @support rule. I'm trying to open Dreamweaver 2017 (latest version) on my iMac, running Sierra 10.12.4 (latest OS version). On launch, Dreamweaver will start to bounce in the dock, and then quit. One out of four times, I get an Apple message that just says my software has quit, but no error code.After working with Adobe support in chat sessions, including where they took over my machine, we discovered this only happens under my main user account, and they suggested I contact Apple because "something is wrong with my user account." We tried various basic things including logging in and out of my Adobe account, uninstalling Dreamweaver and downloading again, etc. Working under the new user is a workaround, but a very inconvenient one.Apple, after many patient hours themselves in chat, suggested that… the problem is with Dreamweaver. With the latest Mac Version of DW 2017.1 build I keep getting this message on save. It comes up either 2x or 4x on save. I've search every file in DW and eliminated any that say idisk to no avail. I don't know where this is hidden in DW that it is trying to access..

The title describes it perfectly. Everything else I have done is going in center if I ask it to, but this is not. I developed this CSS drop-down menu through a YouTube video tutorial and everything worked fine. I went on for a day trying to put it in the center but nothing worked. I then tried to just simply highlight it and then ask Dreamweaver to move it to the center (or ever the left) through Format -> Align and it still won't move it. It just wants to stick to the left like GLUE! I did create and link a .css and like how that works...makes the files shorter and easier. Sugestão de código não funciona DW Inserindo uma imagem pela tag img ao digitar os atributos width e height em uma das tags o Dreamweaver não sugeriu o código.  0:49 segundos. By inserting an image by img tag when entering the width and height attributes in one of the tags Dreamweaver did not suggest the code. 0:49 seconds.

Ok, I tried to contact support, but they directed me here. I am trying to post updates to my website, but a message came  up saying that it cannot connect to the server. I contacted our server provider and he said that it upgraded from FTP to SFTP. He gave me the new credentials, but I do not know how to update that for the current server and keep the current site the same. All I know how to do for connecting to a server is to create a new site and I do not want that. I hope one of you can take me step by step in this process, if there is a way

Bear with me--this is my first website ever, and my first time using PHP.  I've done a good amount of reading in the interest of understanding all of this, and I think I'm pretty close to having it right, but for some reason my email script isn't working.Screenshots of my script and the form that triggers it are below.Basically, the PHP script gives me the echo I've coded, but no e-mail actually arrives in my inbox, and I'm not sure why (I've checked junkmail, and there's nothing there, either).If you guys see any glaring errors in my code, I would appreciate it!PS - I realize I haven't written security verifications in my PHP script ... for now I'm using DW's dedicated "email" and "phone" fields, and I'm limiting the name fields to 15 characters.  I'm also using a reCaptcha verification, as you can see (which works on my domain--these screenshots were taken in the localhost environment where the reCaptcha isn't authorized).  Just FYI.  Obviously open to feedback on

I'm working on one of my sites and suddenly I can't connect Dreamweaver to the server . I have the same problem that was asked here. Failed to Read the contents of XML Resource: IDD_SSH_KEY_CHANGE_DIALOG It looks like an easy fix, but when I go to ~Library/Application Support/ there is no Dreamweaver folder at all. I see folders my other Adobe apps, but nothing for Dreamweaver.Any hints on how to solve this?

I have subpages that need to be attached to a template but when I try to attach them they say there is an error. I think its because my subpages are in folders within the site, how do I link those to a template?

Downloaded Dreamweaver CC last night. Cannot keep it open for more than a few seconds. Noticed if I open a file, no code shows in the Code Inspector. If I click the X to close the file, DW CC crashes. Think this release came a out a bit too soon. Buggy as hell.

The code changes when I'm working. The first characters of each line just disappear sometimes - and other things get messed up.I need to install the previous version. How do I do that?I saw another thread where you just select "Previous versions" in Creative Cloud app but its showing up there.

Hello all!Bear with me, my question will hopefully make sense soon, hahaI am wanting to rebuild my site with some better design, add in mobile support, and keep its current functionality intact (or replicate it with an Adobe product)my current site can be seen here www.ruesterprod.com (as of 4/5/17)As you can see I have some Quicksand filtering and sorting going on, but the design sucks and I need to add mobile support and keep it easily updateable as I add more videos to my portfolio. Obviously I can design  the elements in PS and Illustrator, but between Dreamweaver, Muse, Reflow, and Animate I have no idea where to start and how best to keep a solid workflow. Also, for mobile, I'd like to have animated sorting and filtering, but instead of blocks, I'd like to have my videos stacked vertically and be responsive....MY QUESTION IS: How BEST can I accomplish a redesign, have/keep quicksand-like sorting and filtering, optimize it for mobile, and easily update it when ever I post a n
