Questions

I have created an HTML form in Dreamweaver CC 2015. I'm lost as to how I make that form function. I would like to have the form list the answers in one file I can retrieve. I would like to ask Adobe WHY their bootstrap starter templates are not conforming with bootstrap's default css classes?It took some time to figure out why I could not write into the template as I would via a normal code editor. EG: why is .col-md-6 suddenly .span6 ?? I use Dreamweaver because it is wysiwig.. no other reason.This customising is totally unacceptable as it will totally confuse those who look to the bootstrap documentation for a deeper understanding.I am moving further away from using Adobe all the more. The apps are no longer reliable. Trying to tie people into the specific app is not community friendly at all!!An answer from the Adobe Dev team would be appreciated.Thanks

I'm trying to update Dreamweaver CS6 12.0 to 12.0.3.When I run the updater, it tells me that I need to update AAM to 10.0.0. When I download that, it tells me that there is a "missing file", and that I should download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. I understand that ASA is no longer available.Adobe makes Dreamweaver 12 and the full Creative Suite installers available, but they are the "point zero" release, rather than the "finished" version.I realise that CS6 is no longer supported, but is it too much to ask to get a standalone installer/updater for the final version that doesn't require auxiliary software?I'm running Mac Sierra 10.12.4.Thanks.

I'm having trouble on this page with Flexbox...This PageIt's on the laptop/mobile device sitting vertically centered inside the gradient background.I was successful twice on the same page using Flex already (with some help, but I was getting the hang of it...) I then run across the laptop/mobile image sitting over the background gradient, and it won't stay vertically centered! (that is when I am widening the browse, simulating wider devices/screens)I've been copying the original class down to my other elements and it's not working. I've tried using Justify instead of Align and still no dice... My padding doesn't seem to affect the laptop when I apply it to that element as a value or percentage... Everything either completely breaks or the laptop rises to the top left (as it does in the link.) I am trying to vertically center the Kaiser logo on this page so it maintains the center position, despite the browser width.I was successful getting the building background to sit center and center and cover... I got the logo to horizontally align, but after trying multiple things like padding-top as a percentage, but that didn't work... (I get why) or tried vertical-align, but that's only for inline elements... I'd set it to display: inline and it broke my horizontal positioning...(I also have a pattern Im trying to get to overlay the building image [called bg-overlay], which did, but shows and doesn't show depending on what I'm trying out on the logo.svg. I've been using Contribute to edit my website for at least 10 years. Now for the last 3 months I can't get in, Contribute doesn't accept my login Info and I can't figure it out.I've heard that D Weaver has a wysiwyg editor built in. I don't know anything about coding so will I be able to use the wysiwyg function in D Weaver? Will there be much of a learning curve, with me coming from Contribute??Can I get a trial version of D Weaver to try it out?

The program keeps crashing during work as I'm updating hyperlinks to documents. It doesnt close the file, but erases the links and restoring the previously saved version doesnt resolve the issue. Any ideas?

I just did the latest update through creative cloud now i cannot open any project if i launch Dreamweaver then try to open a html page in the project folder it crashes.

For some reason yesterday I started getting the background file activity pop up and it's annoying popping up even when I'm not working on a file but browsing the web. Not sure why it suddenly decided to annoy me but is there a way to disable the popup?AlanDW 2017 Mac OS 10.10.5

Hello, I am a confessed complete and utter novice when it comes to anything related to web design. I am currently building a website as part of a requirement for one of my college modules. I've run into an issue with the carousel feature in dreamweaver. Firstly, I can't figure out how to get the carousel exactly where I want it. The aim is to have it below a static image on my page with little to no space in between. Both the carousel and the image are in the same section. However, when I go to insert the carousel it inserts in between the first two sections, which leaves a blank white space between the background colours of the sections and looks terrible. In addition, for some reason two of the images in the carousel are identically sized yet one is far larger. As a novice to Dreamweaver, i was able to create this website several years ago. Don't laugh to hard. www.owendawsongolf.com.Although it is simple, I've managed to use some basic SEO techniques which does get me traffic and business and i'm reluctant to change anything at this point.I'd like to create a site for real estate photography, but would like it to be nicer looking, with functioning similar to my friends site hereso my question is, the below template seems to have similar functionality, but i'm not sure how i would add my info, photos, video etc to it.Is it a matter of importing it into dreamweaver and editing from there? or is there more to it. trying to figure out the difficulty level. this might be over my head.any input would be  great. thanks  im using CS3

I have a domain name and HTML from an old web site.  How hard it to upload to Dreamweaver?

After the update about a month ago, Live View refreshes to code view but all with black text.  I have to close the file and reopen to get the "real Live View" back.  I have tried it on a different computer and have the same problem.  Any suggestions?

Today I got the update for Dreamweaver 17.0.2.9391 but now I have the problem that DW crashes when I try to open files that are > =8KB in file size (not just exactly 8KB, all that are >=8KB). The location doesn't matter, local or on a network share. Also I can open Dreamweaver normally without a file and as soon as I try to open a "large" file, it crashes instantly.Already tried to reinstall Dreamweaver of course, also with deleting all my user settings. Did not fix the problem for me.Any suggestions what I could do to make it work again with "larger" files? I was doing some learning on tutorials and I was wondered where I find what version of Bootstrap I have in DW 2017.0.1 build 9346. If it isn't version 4, when is that coming out?Thanks
