I am making a special web page that will images on it and then text underneath.  I'd love to be able to create some photo graphics like the person slowly moving closer to the viewer will the background moves away (parallax effect) - easily made in AE.But as is the case, if I make animated GIFs to do this, even very short ones it will take "forever" to load slowing down the page.Perhaps I could put that PLAY GIF on them but does anyone have any ideas on how best to do this without bogging down the page?Thanks for any tips or advice.

I'm trying to make an update to my website with Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 and every time I try to insert an image, or just type in new text, Dreamweaver crashes. I've tried making updates from 2 different computers (both Mac), and the same thing happens with both of them. Can anyone help me?? Do I need to switch over to the Creative Cloud??

Sorry, I'm from the Netherlands and living in Norway, I use Google translate.I work with Dreamweaver CS6, but will create responsive websites.Is the only way now to do with Dreamweaver responsive websites by paying a monthly fee of 24.19 euros to work with cc 201. Or is it possible to link Bootstrap in a different way to Dreamweaver CS6. For example, after a ugrade CS6 cc to 2015. If this is done, Bootstrap link to cc 2015. Is this possible?

This is probably a very simple question but, in Dreamweaver CC 2017:On the Code window (whether split or not)  how do i get all my code to fit in the window without having the vertically scroll bar at the bottom. I want view all my code without having to scroll within the window. In the old versions, never had this. Probably just a default setting i have to adjust, but cant seem to find it. Please help!

I just cannot see how to get the  text "Islington Book of Rememberance" to move up and sit under the panel of words above it.  The panel of words are floated right, I have cleared the float but that stubborn text will not go up.  Many thanks in advance. Hey guys,Ok, so I am having issues with my "local root" (I am not familiar how it works). About a week ago, I decided to organize my folders in my Mac to make things look a little neater, more organized. I may have deleted a few folders (might of been ignorant) that I thought had no importance. After organizing and deleting just a few I then went into my trash and emptied the trash.This morning I tried to view a site I created in DreamWeaver and was unable to do so. As my frustration rise, I noticed my iCloud storage was almost to its limit, so I put some of the documents in my document folder to my desktop. Now I am unable to open any Adobe products. Even when I followed these steps: Open Dreamweaver -> Click Manage Sites -> Re Route the site to the desktop folder from which I stated the site on.If anyone could help me solve this mess I am currently in it will be greatly appreciated. I have Dreamweaver CS5.5. Haven"t used it for a while but want to create a new web site. Want to create a top and a side menu but can't find instructions to do this.

I have installed Dreamweaver 2004 on my Windows 10 computer, using GoDaddy as my server host.  This ran on my Windows 7 OS.  I have talked we GoDaddy and we established that there is no problem with the Computer on my side and their side in connecting.  When I click o the Test button For the Remote site it seems to work. When I go into Dreamweaver and Refresh and then press the connect to remote host button I get this error message:  The connection to the remote has been lost.  Click Refresh to reconnect.  I refresh but get the same error message.  Does Dreamweaver 2004 run on Windows 10?  Thank you in advance.

Hi, been out of the game for a while and now getting back into it all! I have a customer who likes the interactivity of the scroll banner on the home page without going to another page. The example page they like is link is http://www.boltonbros.co.uk and you click the arrows to move the banner along. It has real text, images and links / buttons on each banner cycle. Is there a template in Dreamweaver I can use or some coding I can add? Thanks guys, I feel a right newby but so much has changed since I last played!

I would like to use this slider: Carousel - Jssor Slider  but I would like to use in a drawer that will slide up from the bottom of my site with a button click.Even if I could just toggle it on and off that would work!I would appreciate any help.Thanks!

Since DW 2017, it seems Adobe has completely dropped support for ASP. And by "support", I mean the editor doesn't even recognize an ASP page.In the lower right, you can select what kind of page it is, everything from "Bash", to "Haxe" to "Twig"....whatever those are....but no ASP!!!!!This is most frustrating when editing an ASP page - even if I select VBScript, it still doesn't work correctly. When writing Javascript for instance in an ASP page, the code jumps around, auto-indents when it shouldn't, etc....it's driving me crazy.Does anyone else have these issues? I don't develop much in ASP anymore, but still need to support many sites with changes, improvements, etc...Any info/ideas appreciated.

I have just moved a website across from one Linux remote server to another. The website worked perfectly on the 1st server but now on the 2nd server  the website won't display some icons triggered from a CSS file. On investigation the CSS file is in place on the server in the correct relative place but in the logs I am seeing a 404 for the icon responsible CSS file. The website is an exact mirror of the one on the first server with the same site relative paths and root. It's quite a complex website and all the other features are working fine on the 2nd server - just missing icons.In the grand scheme of things a few missing icons is not going to end the world but it is bugging me..  Any ideas  ?   Could try absolute path for the one CSS file  ?

Every time I open my html file to edit code, it is always adding extra '>' character at the end of my code.Like this:</body></html>>>>When I removed the extra '>' and run the code on my machine it is working well. The extra '>' will only added when I re-open the file in Dreamweaver 2017 CC.What would be the possible cause of this? Does anyone know how to reliably do this? It seems to be pretty haphazard what you can edit and what you can't in Live mode. Sometimes you can select and edit some text, sometimes you can't. Other times, in split screen, you can't edit the live pane but you can go into the code section and change it there. Other times, it's like it's part of a non editable template region even though it is editable.This wouldn't be an issue but I've been doing more and more sites using Bootstrap 3 and these sites are difficult to work with in Design view, but show up fine in Live mode. But then I can't edit many of the elements properly. I do seem to be able to go into the DOM tab and copy, paste items and I can go into the Bootstrap tab and insert more Bootstrap elements, but if all I want to do is change the price on a client's taxidermy page for example, sometimes yes, sometimes no. I started learning Dreamweaver CC 2015 about a year ago and have ploughed my way through countless tutorials.I am a designer not a coder but somehow have managed to create a reasonable-looking test site for my client. Dear all,I want to make a change across a website that lacks a template (www.23nlpeople.com).  There are about 300 pages. It's the little video that isnt showing on the right hand column.The code of the video is strangely complicated and is different on every page (why the designer didnt use an embedded youtube iframe, i just don't know).  What this means is that a find-and-replace-all isn't possible. BUT, the code is in the same line position on every page....is there a way to change the html for this video to the preferred one without doing each page individually?I'm using CS5.5Thanks in advance,Andy
