My sites are interactive and dynamic. The sites collect data and reflect user data the website in real time. Muse is great for layout but I'm forced to use frames to make pages display dynamic data and collect complex data beyond emails. What is the future of dreamweaver? Does XD provide ANY INTEREACTIVITY?

Ok having been forced to subscription license, have been upgraded (didn't want to) to Dreamweaver 2021.   It used to be that under Insert I had an option to Insert a Server Side Include    Has this been moved some place else, deleted or what .  I amring dreaam weaver on MacOS 12.6.3  

The index page appears to be working properly in Live view but when testing it with browsers it doesn't display the css styles. It's one of the template sites, Grid. Can anyone help?

I am getting the following error  pages:Index:index2022.html - Put operation successful - error occurred - Access denied. The file may not exist locally, may be open in another program, or there could be a local permission problem. Includes:Navigate2.html - same - not transferred Thats is REAL helpful.  WHAT FILE.  I can uploadf all teh field with an SFTP program but i gert thus eror on every upload. Not crucial but annoying.   

Hi. I would like to know how can I configure the program so that after saving the file (ctrl+s) it will automatically send the file to the server? I would not like to have an active page preview function.In theory, it should work like this, with the "Automatically upload file to server on save" option checked. Unfortunately, this only works when the page is previewed 

It seems that Dreamweaver deprecated the "Left" "Center" and "Right" keyboard shortcuts that were there in CS4-CS6.  Is there a way to create a keyboard shortcut in Design view to align text like there used to be before?Currently, to align text, you have to go to the "Properties" panel, click "CSS" and then select one of the alignment icons.I used to have my mouse set up with these shorcuts.  A mouse click is way, way easier!I've tried the "snippet" route to no avail.  I need the shortcut to work in "Design" view, not code view. I have even tried to create a keyboard shortcut with the "keyboard shortcuts" dialog box.  If the shortcut doesn't exist in this dialog box, you can't create a new one from scratch.Dreamweaver has made life more difficult for me by deprecating this simple feature.  Somebody on the Dreamweaver team must know how to give me this simple functionality back.  That is if there is one.  All of my apps (Photoshop, Animate, Illust

Hi everyone! I'm trying to display a list of options to the user depending on which option they select from a dropdown list. Ideally, this displayed list is editable by the user (like if they want to update the phone number). The final goal is for the user to be able to submit his selections/edits so that an admin receives this via email. See attached mock-up of what I have in mind. I'm not sure how to tackle this and would appreciate a nudge in the right direction. Thank you for your help in advance!

hi - i'm having problems with both my HTML webiste hosted page(s) and the local host test system. if i use a href or src referenence in a tag and a relative address (eg src="/Images/mypicture.png"), when i run it, i get a file not found or nothing. any suggestions? i was able to make it work from within dreamweave by using an absolutte address on my computer.i'm confused. 

So I tried to create just a basic index.html page using Dreamweaver with practically nothing in it except TEST in the body. It looks fine. However, when I uploaded it to where I thought my files needed to go, and I type in my website, it gives me a 404. My hosting company gave me a sample index.html file to test it with and, with that index.html file, which, I think, they just used notepad, I put my index.html file in the same spot. Is there a setting in Dreamweaver that I'm missing? Is the design window with DW supposed to update in real time? Mine isn't, unless I click into it, which isn't realtime... external browsers do, though.

How do I delete multiple hyperlinks in Dreamweaver to different pages on a website? I’ve seen ways to delete all hyperlinks on a page or manually delete some hyperlinks, but not a way to quickly delete multiple pages to multiple pages on a website. Here’s my situation. I license 4,000-plus of my cartoons via a 1,000-plus-page Dreamweaver site (mchumor.com) and a 4,000-plus-page Managed WordPress/Woocommerce site (thekomic.com).  Each cartoon on the Dreamweaver site links to a DIFFERENT page on Wordpress site, a page that lets people download the cartoons directly.  As an example, if you go to https://mchumor.com/stonehenge-cartoons-pg1.html and click on the first cartoon, changing to Daylight Saving Time, it takes you to https://thekomic.com/cartoon/9060-daylight-saving-time-cartoon/ If you click on the second cartoon on the page about Easter Island underwater, it takes you to https://thekomic.com/cartoon/8843-ocean-cartoon/ Alas,

This is really simple, and really bad:The CODE edting pane JUMPS and moves text around while trying to edit/write/select/highlight code. Obviously this is a problem, no one wants text to JUMP around while editing code. Clearly demonstrated here:https://www.screencast.com/t/51B8uxdESZ  

Hello All, I upload with dreamweaver constantly and ever since last night I keep getting a "Waiting For Server" - "Operation Cancelled."? It does this in the middle of uploads and just stops - never really had that happen before so its confusing to me..I will say I noticed my macbook upgraded to the latest apple osx system randomly the other day after that everything seems to be not working like it was. So I wonder if that had something to do with it. I've uploaded the meesgae I get with uloading..Any HELP or IDEAS are welcome as how to fix? 

This is the HTML website I am having a problem with. http://sunrisecarhirebroome.com.au/  There are 2 rows of cars.  The bottom row next to the XTrail is meant to be the e-scooter. I have copied the code from the Xtrail for the escooter and changed the image and the title but it has dropped out of the row. I checked for unclosed divs and cant find any, checked parenthsis, colons etc and cant find any errors.I have gone crossed eyed looking for the error. I have added a div and then removed it. Maybe a fresh pair of expert eyes can show me where I have gone wrong. Thanks a million

Dreamweaver doesn't currently live up to its name. But I have an unsolicited suggestion for that.I'd like to have a chatbot that I could talk to built into the software. I'd like to be able to use ChatGPT and give it access to Adobe's code hinting and code completion features and open-source UI frameworks to create websites and apps conversationally. 

I need help with a problem I an having with using coding for dropcap that was coded several years ago. I am not familiar enough with coding, I just use the stylesheet that provided. In case you missed it, it's now official.  Microsoft permanently disabled Internet Explorer 11 with the Feb. 14th update of Windows 10. If you try to launch IE, you'll be directed to MS Edge.  Same goes for legacy users on Windows 8/8.1.

I am a somewhat new user to Dreamweaver 2021 (iMac running Big Sur 11.7) and have encountered an odd issue after my first ftp "put" to my published website.  I have just a few html files (all in the same directory, let's call it the home directory) along with javascript files in their own folder (/java) and css files and image files also in their own folders (/css and /images).  When I use the onboard ftp to put all of my files onto the remote server, Dreamweaver will no longer look for any local files contained in subfolders, but instead lists the remote copies (which does not work when I'm working on editing as this results in none of the java or css or images files working in dreamweaver).  The only work around I have found so far is to completely delete the managed site, and set it up as a new site (which then has Dreamweaver once again pointing to the local files, thus allowing me to see the actual site as it should appear).  Am I doing something wrong in how I

I am trying to make a web page with a spiral notebook in the background. The spiral wire needs to be in the left column. Can anyone give me some pointers? A simmple class shoud do it.

It beats me how Adobe wants to conquer the world and yet cannot implement an amazing feature like Auto-Save like VSC (a free software) have done. I may have missed a feature that lets you load the Preview seamlessly as you type code, but at the moment I have to manually save every time I change anything for Preview to show changes. If I have missed that game-changing feature, someone help me out,  please!

I am aware there are latency deficiencies within the Dreamweaver application for both Mac and Windows users that never seem to get resolved even after years of users complaints.  I have tried every single "Good Answer" posted in the community and still we are having the same issues many software versions later.  I have called the Support line only to be told I should have all of my files directly on my computer instead of a shared server.  All fine and good, but when you work on a team with thousands of clients it makes it difficult to edit changes from another users desktop.  When is Adobe going to get away from the mantra that Dreamweaver is best suited as a standalone single-user application.  I am performing a command-option-shift restart Dreamweaver while typing this to the community.  The app is currently "Updating the site cache" and it is literally taking a lifetime to complete.  To open Dreamweaver 2021 (iMac24-inch, M1, 2021 macos ventura v1
