hey gang - As you guys know I made my site responsive  finally - and it works in most ways the only thing i cant figure out.. this pagehttps://toddheymandirector.com/reel/ My rollovers work on desktop and on a mobile/tablet developer tools simulator, the overlay doesnt show and one tap and it takes you to the movie page - however on an ACTUAL phone/mobile its not functioning properly the movie doesnt show but it still is recognizing a hover function and transitions to black on touch - if you hit it a second time it goes to the movie page-- which obviously is ng since no one will know to do that-- and on tablet it will either play the rollover or just requires a second tap-- see attached for both-- the idea I would think is to have the hover function not even exist for mobile so one tap takes you to the movie page--  not sure if a media query for touch screen preventng the hover function will do that bc it seems one for screen width isnt cutt

I it possible to stop Dreamweaver storing my settings in the cloud?

I'm installing Dreamweaver, part of CS5 Design/Web on my new laptop Win11. The programme is a pepetual one. The activationcode (see attachment) was accepted during installation. But not using the programme. On my old laptop there is no problem. I found a deactivation option on the old laptop. But it did not work. In my adobe account the programme is not mentioned. Chatting with Adobe, Madhu gave me this community to get an activationcode. Hope you can help.[Moderator Note: I have deleted your activation number attachment. Problem with writing the code in Chapter 4 of 'Dreamweaver - Classroom in a book 2022'.I follow the instuctions explicitely in Chapter 4, but my computer throws a 'wobbley'. Has anybody else had the same problem. I think the software is amazing and has come on leaps and bounds since I last used it. It would be a shame too fall at this minor hurdle! Can anybody help? I've been working a Dell laptop PC.

Hey all - sooo.. i was able to get my site to be responsive - woohoo! there are a few tweaks to make but now that my video player can work in all formats I'd like to make one adjustment if you click on any of the thumbs here--https://toddheymandirector.com/reel/ the previous/next/close all overlay the video and I'd like them to exist outside like they do here https://www.rakish.us/directors/matt-smukler#publix-on-our-way-2 I havent been able to bring them outside the API and I think thats the problem..  so the disappear when outside the video frame  should i reconfigure my HTML?

I have two servers (domains). When I upload to server/domain 1 everything goes where it's supposed to. But when I upload to server/domain 2 everything goes to server/domain 1. It actually takes over that server. When typing the URL for domain 1 the content for domain 2 pops up in the browser.There seems to be no way to stop that. I have removed server/domain 1 from the list in Dreamweaver but the information for that server/domain must be still there because dreamweaver keeps sending the files there. I could not find a way to delete the cache. Searches for finding that cache on the computer (Mac) bring no results.Any ideas, suggestions, solutions?

Mein Provider verlangt PHP 7.0, 7.3 bzw die Version 8.0 .  Ist bekannt ob eines dieser Versionen für DW 2021 ein Update möglich ist ?DW 2021 stellt mir nur 7.1 zur Verfügung. Oder gibt es andere Lösungen

Dreamweaver should have a warning box pop up if the user tries to open a large number of files at once. Some programs (including Microsoft Outlook and Google Chrome) do this. It gives the user a chance to cancel the operation if it was a mistake, or continue if it was not.  I just now did a search and replace on 484 HTML pages, then later hit the Enter key, forgetting that all those files were the current selection. There was no way to stop the files from opening until Dreamweaver ran out of memory and crashed.

I am no longer designing websites but I need to update a site I created years ago.  My version of Dream Weaver is CS6 and it is not compatible with my version of iOS.  I only need to make small changes (prices) on the site. Please help.

I just updated to DW v21.3 - has anything changed with the images root folders? I cannot insert images from my "images" folders without getting an error about it being outside of the root, when the images folder is sitting right next to my HTML file in my explorer? I can also not see any images / view them in my "Design" panel. This is SO frustrating - 20 years of HTML and this is the first time I cannot even link an image?! Also, when I try to relink via the "Source File" it asks me if I want to overwrite the file (?) and that the file I have selected already exists?Please help me!I need to HTML basic eMailers daily - and this is the first time that I have ever encountered any of this? I am on Windows 10 - recently updated.   

If I have two windows upon while working in Dreamweaver and click anywhere outside of Dreamweaver it freezes (Dreamweaver). Dreamweaver does not show up in the taskbar as a running program, so I have to restart my system. I'm running Windows 10 (up to date), i9 intel chip, 64 gigs of ram, 64-bit operating system. Dreamweaver version is 21.3 15593 build

buenas tardes, soy nuevo en el mundo del dreamwever, estoy realizando un curso en este programa y en un momento determinado me solicitan que instale algunas extensiones, me dan las pautas y me sugieren que descargue el extension manager, mi sorpresa llega cuando luego de instalar el extension manager veo que este no reconoce ningun producto de adobe, enstalado en mi ordenador por lo cual no me deja instalar ninguna extension,tengo todos los productos originales, pago el servicio mensual de adobeotros programas de administracion de extensiones si reconocen el DW e instalan sin ningun problema (ejm: ajatix extension manager) e intentado reinstalar todo y no me funciona, intente ubicarlo manualente desde el EM pero no hay manera de hacerlo, por lo que si alguno de ustedes tiene idea de como solucionarlo me seria de mucha ayuda porque no todos las extensiones tienen su propio administardor y lo ideal es poder usar el programa de adobe que se supone que facilita las cosas. adjunto

The number of things being shown as erroneous in DW is increasing to a point where it's not as usable as other platforms (for example, Atom, which isn't my favorite for anything other than JS).Specific items that are not being correctly parsed include things like async function (gives an 'unexpected token function' error) and fetch (also an 'unexpected token' error), along with a lot of the functionality for things like URLSearchParams (gives an 'undefined function' error kinda randomly).All the code from these things runs perfectly in every browser I can test (except IE8 and Opera Mini, neither of which are up to modern standards).Anyway, I'm hoping there is an update to that stuff for 2023, which is standards-based and can be seen on MDN and similar standards-based sites.

I am working with a web site previously build using wordpress. The fellow who built the site passed away. It looks like many files in the site had a LCK on them. I would like to delete all the files in all folders with a LCK extension. I have deleted a few by hand and don't see any issues created in Dreamweaver.I set up a remote server and looked at the folders using "Expand to show local and remote" thinking I could use this tool to hand delte files. LCK files are filtered and don't show up.What I really would like is a way to clean them all out like "rm -r *.LCK" in linux. This does not work on FTP site. I wish there was a flag in SITE sync to remove files from remote that do not exist in the local. Is there a way to clean off all the LCK files on the remote?

I was wondering if there is a daily challenge for Dreamweaver as there is for all the other programs.

Hello! I have an image in my webpage.  I am looking for the HTML code so that when someone clicks on the image it will take them to a specified URL. Seems easy and I thought I had it correct (In dreamweaver it has a link right under the SRC line and I thought that would do the trick, but it does not work), but it is not working. Thank you!

Unless I've missed a configuration to Dreamweaver, it doesn't seem to understand Apache 2.4. I am unable to understand how to save files in Dreamweaver automatically to cc

I am very much a novice at DW and follow a well worn path to update my website. Over the last couple of days when uplaoding jpegs I get error message 'file activity incomplete - files or folders were not completed'. If I come back late in evening or the following day and try to upload, the files complete. Internet is good, I have rebooted mac and DW. Probably operator error...

Is it possible to create an after element that contains a clippath? What I am trying isn't working, and I can't seem to find any examples where a clippath is used to create the content for the visual part of the after element. Basically, I am creating a gannt chart where the boxes of the actions in the timeline have an arrow leading to the next step in the process. So, if what I am trying isn't possible but you have an alternative suggestion, then I would welcome your input. Thanks.

It did work, but it doesn't look great. The worst issue is that the large dispay photo is way too far from the thumbnails. Does anyone have any suggestions?
