Hello,I'm sequencing Adobe Acrobat 2017 with App-V. Even if I'm sequencing and deploying it like described in the App-V Deployment guide, Acrobat starts but I need to log in with my Adobe ID.
Hey,We've got an issue on a 2008 R2 terminal server where signing documents using Adobe Reader is causing app lockups.I've found that disabling the "Modern User Interface" (in Preferences > Signatures > Creation & Appearance (More…) ) fixes the issue - however I have been unable to find a way to control this via group policy. I've tried running registry / file monitoring software to find the appropriate key / place to control this from with no luck.As per this blog post - Digital signatures simplified | Adobe Content Corner - it states this can be controlled via Group Policy.-----“From Preferences > Signatures > Creation & Appearance (More…) you can uncheck the “Use modern user interface…” option to turn off the new experience and return to the old one. This preference is active by default and can be controlled by means of Registry (Windows) and Plist (MacOS) preferences, so it is suitable for a custom configuration with automated deployments of Acrobat.”-----
Any body knows how to script/package Acrobat Reader DC version 2017.009.20044 for Windows 10 ver.1511?After Reader is installed I would like the pdf file association to default to the Reader instead of Microsoft Edge without having any user interaction.Any ideas tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Guillaume
My customer has purchased 2x Photoshop Elements 15.0, Education volume license "MLP AOO License IE" ( I work in Local Government ).My question is - can I create an Adobe package using Creative Cloud packager, entering the serial number when prompted? I've put this to my Asset Mgt Team who say as this was not purchased as a subscription product, and purchased under "Education" then I shouldn't be using CCP to do this, I'm not sure this is correct. Thanks in advance,DaveFife Council
We ran Acrobat DC in a trial which worked well so we bought licences. Now we need to install Acrobat DC on our XenApp provisioned image. Where does the prov.xml file need to be located after it's generated by the tool?I have run adobe_prtk.exe --tool=VolumeSerialize --generate --serial="<ENTER SERIAL #HERE>" --leid="<ENTER LEID #HERE>" --regsuppress=ss --eulasuppress and adobe_prtk.exe --tool=VolumeSerialize --provfile=<ENTER PATH OF PROV.XML FILE> --stream.Thanks in advance
We have virtual machines environment, where user doesn't have certain computer on which he works. Not all users need Adobe DC PRO, but the number of machines we have in virtual pool is bigger than DC Pro users. So we can't install and activate it on all machines. Is there any ways of install DC Pro in such situation? Maybe we can purchase server license distribution if Adobe have this option?
We purchased a volume license and installed Acrobat to several workstations. When Acrobat is launched all the users are able to access 'My Account' for the Adobe ID linked to the installation. Anyway to remove access to this?
We are deploying device licenses in a lab environment in which some of the users needing to run CC updates and installations also have named licenses for their office machines. So, using their Adobe IDs to sign into CC Desktop causes problems. I want to be able to log in with our enterprise ID and just have it stay logged in forever, or not require an Adobe ID for updates. If this cannot be done, I need to figure out a way to suppress the desktop app so that people stop logging in by accident.
Good Day,We are having extreme difficulties getting the Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 packaged for distribution in our corporate environment via SCCM.This was not an issue with Elements 14 as it was included in the Creative Cloud Packager application. Adobe Elements 15 however is not part of the Creative Cloud Packager's options. This is proving a big problem as we have procured licenses and we are looking to procure more in future, but due to the installer's limitations we cannot deploy this software in the same standardized way we have done with every other Adobe/Creative Cloud product we have procured in the past. Please see previous post by another author relating to the same issue which to date is still unanswered. (LINK) Some urgent feedback would be extremely welcome.Thank you very much,Chris
Hello,We have Enterprise Device-based Licensing. If a machine uses a license and I de-activate it, they can continue to open and use the application. Is this the right behavior? I'd like it if it'd re-license itself upon launching without having to deploy the Serialization.exeAny thoughts on this? How are others handling this?
Hello Everyone,I created a Bundle of CC Apps for deployment. When I go to install the applications it installs several pieces of software, then fails and rolls everything back. When looking at 'PDApp.log' I see the error message specified in the topic.I can provide the log as well. We have Adobe CC All Apps for teams device licenses installed on 53 Macs with an active subscription that expires in December 2017. We have 68 licenses total in our subscription (52 are being used). Ehen we start any of the CC applications (whether logged into the Adobe CC app or not) we get a "Renew the license" message and cannot use the application. We have deactivated the licenses in our team console, uninstalled Adobe CC and tried reinstalling with a new installation package we created with the Adobe packager and we still get the same message. We have wiped computers and tried installing CC package and get the same message. We have created and installed a license package and run that and we still get the same "Renew the license" message. Any suggestions?
We have deployed adobe acrobat reader AcroRdrDC1500720033_en_US.msi with the AcroRdrDCUpd1500820082.msp. We are now unable to update through sccm scup. The msi cites its missing a non existent msp file or an mst file, and throws error 1603 in sccm scup. If we install interactivly it gives the error 1328. We need some assistance in figuring out how to update the adobe reader DC to the current patch level of 17.x.
When I sent invite to my NY Teams, they are not receiving the Invite from Adobe its' been blocked. Thanks,Jackie

What is the silent install switch for Adobe Creative Cleaner and how would I do a clean removal of thousands of installs of CC products in an enterprise environment? Many workstations and laptops have just a few products such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and others have the full CC Master suite. We have to remove all older installs of CC products and prepare for updates in our environment to a new version of the product. I have read where many people have had issues with this tool doing a clean uninstall in the past. If there is another better solution for uninstalling so many products, then please provide a solution. We are all ears. I am a licensing manager with a large organization. If we do not get better support for Adobe products in the future we will be forced to move to other solutions.
Hello all,I am pretty sure this is not a feature already but I wanted to check anyway. We currently have Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams within the business and around 180 full suite licenses assigned out at any one time. Within the admin portal we can see the basic info of each user and also their Adobe cloud usage but we cannot see any information around when the user last signed in using the license. This feature would make admin a lot easier as we would be able to identify users that have expensive licenses assigned but are not using them. I am guessing this information is already stored somewhere Adobe's side each time the user logs into the CC app as it can track the more than 2 places signed in.Any help would be great. Thanks
Several of my client's have received an email this weekend stating "Your administrator at BRUSG has removed access to your All Apps Plan. This does not affect your access to other Adobe products and services."I did not remove their access and when I went into the Adobe Admin Console under User Management, sure enough their access had been removed. Why? When I went to add them back and saved it; it does not reflect in User Management even after signing out and back in. Why was this done and why are the changes not saving. This only happened to some clients.
Hi,We are working with Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits edition.Im installing Adobe Reader DC 2017 and when i install the update it automaticly creates another shortcut in my start menu programs. You have any idea what i should do to avoid this? Thanks
Deployed updates are now failing. When will the updated install certificates be available?
I successfully created the packages for all products and added them to SCCM, all tested fine except Captivate, I tried installing it locally and it failed both the msi and the exe. Hi,We using Citrix servers at our company. We have both Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat installed on them, but due limited licenses, Acrobat is restricted to a selected few users.Whenever an update comes out, Adobe Acrobat hogging the default file associations, and throwing errors to the users who does not have access right to it.We have to go to each citrix server and re-apply Adobe Acrobat Reader as default PDF handler. This happens arond once a month.is there a way to stop the file-association -change?Sincerely,Norbert KatonaIT Infrastructure Engineer
I am getting ready to deploy hundreds of copies of Acrobat 17 Pro to our organization, but I can't find any customization wizard. How can I get this? Has one been built yet? I go to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatDC/misc/ and only see the one for 15.
I am trying to create a package project for Adobe CC for teams in my workplace environment. I have downloaded and used the Packager to create the different deployment types that I need, but I am having an issue with deploying the full Adobe CC to my staff.I have an elevated privilege script that calls the installer and proceeds to kick off the installation. I can watch as each CC component gets installed and starts showing up on the computer's Start menu. Then after about 40 minutes the process ends in failure, nearly all of the applications that were installed have gotten removed, and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what went wrong.I've been through many google searches and checked a number of log files, the only thing that gives me any indication of a problem is the Windows Event Viewer's Application log which gives an error stating that it cannot connect to the Installation Service. My environment is a mixed Windows 7 x64 Enterprise, and Windows 10 x64 E
