Graphic Designers with Adobe Creative Suite installed on Windows 7 workstations, in a corporate environment . Due to our IT audit requirements, users are not admins of their PCs and can not install software on their company owned PCs (to prevent pirating of software, unauthorized software, viruses and malware). However, users get constant prompts from Adobe Creative Suite regarding updates. This requires IT assistance to install these frequent updates. While other software updates (JAVA, FLASH, BROWSERS, etc) we automatically push (via AD or PDQdeploy). How do I allow my Non-Admin users to install the Adobe Creative Cloud updates? I assume perhaps there is an option in my Active Directory GPO? If yes, can you please provided exact steps to fix this problem. Thank you,

Any ideas as to why I would be receiving the message "Oh no, apologies but only 2 packages can be built simultaneously." when no packages are being built or downloaded?
I'm in a firewalled environment, using a proxy to get through the firewall. At startup of application, we get these prompts that don't allow textual input. All we can do is click Cancel, and eventually, they will go away. Is there any service I can stop to inhibit these proxy prompts from appearing? Thank you for your input.
I prepare two automatic silent installation for SCCM enviroment. One MSI package is for Illustrator and the other one for inDesign.I use AAMEE 3.1. where I insert my proxy credentials to verify serial number and then I have created new Adobe ID to continue the MSI preparation.Question is what part of CS6 SW is asking me to insert Proxy credentials after start of Illustrator or inDesing??I must prepare installation without any need of user interaction during the SW start. No communication with internet is allowed, so I must disable this windows security pop up window... I get this window 5 times after start of Illustrator or InDesing. What part of Illustrator SW is trying to connecto to the internet? Is it because of wrong activation? Is adobe help trying to communicate with internet? How to disable those internet commnication requests?I had no problem when I was preparing MSI for Photoshop CS6... Thats only for inDesign or Illustrator.
Does being added to the dashboard with a creative cloud license automatically install anything on your machine? How will a Creative Cloud license appear to be installed on a computer? For example when using a ITSM tool(ServiceNow) I see computers with Adobe Creative Cloud installed and others with Adobe Photoshop CC listed. What is the difference?
I am trying to install the creative cloud packager on my MACs running Yosemite 10.10.1 but after downloading the creative cloud packager, I try to open and get a pop up like below that eventually times out.
Please can anyone help me. It worked before.
I've built two packages using the tool and have received this error:"Unable to upload your package metadata"Build Log:5/11/2015 15:26:45[INFO] AdobePackageBuilder - Build Version - 1.9.0.145/11/2015 15:26:45[INFO] AdobePackageBuilder - Logging Level verbosity Set to 4
I checked with Adobe tech support, but got no where. I created an offline package for Adobe Team CC last year (runs about 13.8GB). No matter the computer: Adobe CC takes about 3 hours to install per computer. Note that this is corporate network connected via 1GBps NICs back to the switches and the server that hosts the package is running at 1GBps. I can image a computer within 15 minutes and the image is around 11GB. Creo Parametric is about 10GB and that installs in about 15 minutes. Solidworks 2014, even when pulling bits over the Internet, will usually complete in about 30 minutes (install media is about 3.5GB).I just did a raw file copy from the server to my machine and I was bursting at 98Mbps on the largest files in the Adobe package. Tech support could offer no advice...they state that no log files are created unless there is an error. I certainly cannot be the only one with this problem? I'm going to try copying the whole Adobe CC packa
I purchased 10 licenses thru the adobe store. I've seen that Adobe Creative Cloud Packager can be used to create packages, however I don't have access to this tool. Any tips on making the installed into a pkg to deploy on multiple computers?
I have just added an admin and license access to a user who already had a login on that e-mail address. He gets this error when trying to access the area I have granted him.Not specific to OS but it's Windows. What to do?

As some of you have noticed, your Remote Update Manager (RUM) function has stopped working under Mac OS 10.11 El Capitan. In the past, the Remote Update Manager was located in /usr/sbin. Apple made some changes to the operating system that required us to move Remote Update Manager to a new location. It is now installed in /user/local/bin. The Remote Update Manager documentation has been updated to reflect this change:Use Adobe Remote Update ManagerIn order to make your Mac deployment packages compatible with this change, you'll need to recreate them using the latest version of the Creative Cloud Packager (1.9.3 or later).
We have deployed Adobe DC by creating a package installer using Adobe CC package installer. When we created the file, we selected only Adobe DC, and used a serialize license with our Adobe CC license number. The program installs successfully and does not require a user to sign in. But, when our users create a document and try to use 'send for signature', they are first asked to sign in. So, they sign in using their own personal adobe ID, because we use Serialize Licensing in our environment. Then after they sign in, they are asked to 'upgrade' their account and pay for an Acrobat Pro DC subscription. But, we already deployed a licensed copy on their machine. Please advise on what might be the issue and how we can resolve this.
I have recently contacted Behance to try and find out about getting the same Student Portfolio site as many universities and art colleges have like Rhode Island School of design - RISD PortfoliosIt seems however from contacting Behance that this is a product they are not offering anymore. Is this because Adobe have bought them? how can I find out what the future plans are as I am very keen to implement this in my university for students to upload their portfolios of work. There doesn't seem to be anyone else offering this.Any help and answers would be appreciated.ThanksClaire
my school has purchased CC for us to install on student computers. I am an administrator for the account how do I download and install?
Is there a way to "TURN OFF" the cloud concept so another user doesn't see a confidential pdf in their queue?I tried to contact the help desk at 800-833-6687 but was put through several automated prompts and disconnected.
The update option is grayed out or says needs admin access even from admin account. I've tried deleting the AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat file but it still will not update.
I keep running into this error when trying to use CCP. This occurs when attempting to sign in with our Adobe ID and password. I have tried deleting the opm.db from my AppData folder and relaunching CCP. I have also uninstalled CCP and reinstalled but am still getting this same issue. This is really getting to the point where I'm spending more time troubleshooting issues with CCP instead of actually using it.
Hi all, Recently we have installed the AUSST and now the clients can be upgraded to the latest CC applications. Everything works fine so far, but I have two questions regarding the usage of the RemoteUpdateManager tool:the --action parameter is not working, for example sudo remoteupdatemanager --action=list returns the error code Unrecognized option : --action is there a verbose mode? I am opening now from time to time the RemoteUpdateManager.log to see what the progress is. Thanks for help and best regards, Matthias
We want to install only Adobe Acrobat DC on certain users computers, not any other creative cloud program. What are the proper steps to do this on the Windows platform?I am aware that when we install Adobe DC with other programs such as Photoshop, we install it from the exceptions folder, through the command line, prior to installing the main Creative Cloud MSI.But, in this case, there will be no other programs. Please give me step by step instructions on how to properly download from adobe and install.Thank you.
I have tried to use MSIEXEC to install the AcroRead.msi via a batch file. This doesn't seem to want to install quietly without user interaction. Has anyone been able to deploy this quietly? Can someone help me out with this?
