Hola a todos tengo un problema con el inicio de Adobe Illustrator (cualquier version). Al iniciar el programa me aparece un "ERROR DE COMPLEMENTO" y no puedo usar el programa.Intente mil formas de solucionarlo y nada. El problema me sale en la maquina de escritorio o PC. En mi notebook el programa funciona perfectamente. AYUDA POR FAVOR!!!!!! 

I’m using the official version of Illustrator 29.3.1 for mac. One day, after launching the software, I noticed that all controls in the Properties panel on the right side disappeared (see Image 1).Even when selecting an object, options like Transform, Appearance, and Align do not appear (see Image 2).Previously, the panel displayed basic controls, as shown in Images 3 and 4.I have tried:•Resetting the Essentials workspace•Uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator However, the issue persists. I can manually open these panels from the Window menu, but no matter how I arrange them, they won’t integrate back into the Properties panel like before. Has anyone experienced this issue? How can I restore the original Properties panel layout? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have issues with some assets I added years ago and edited in Illustrator countless times. The assets were originally created in Illustrator, but when I double-click on them to open the asset, nothing happens, and when I right-click on it, it doesn't show the edit option anymore. This is so frustrating, as I need some elements of the logos, and I did edit them in the past many times.I have attached a screenshot of the asset that I can't edit and the one next to it that I can edit.

When canvas is rotated, selection box is unusable. Please fix this Adobe.  .

Hallo zusammen,ich habe folgende Probleme:1. Farbverläufe werden beim Speichern als SVG gar nicht oder nicht korrekt dargestellt.2. Halbtransparente Farbflächen werden nicht dargestellt. Das heißt - werden sie sehr wohl, wenn ich beim Ausspielen die CSS-Eigenschaft "Stilattribute (Entitätsreferenzen)" verwende. Bei den drei anderen Optionen (Präsentationsattribute, Stilattribute und Stilelemente) funktioniert es leider nicht.Das Irritierende: Genau diese Option ist mit dem Warnvermerk versehen, dass sie veraltet sei und in Zukunft entfernt werde. Daher meine Frage:Gibt es in Zukunft keine Möglichkeit mehr, Farbverläufe und halbtransparente Flächen für ein SVG zu verwenden? Das kann ich mir eigentlich nicht vorstellen.Daher: Mit welcher Optionskombination lassen sich besagte Eigenschaften auch mit einer der drei zukunftssicheren Speichermethoden erzielen? Was habe ich bei meinen Kombinationsversuchen übersehen? Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe.

Hello, illustrator community! Join tool make strange behavior.I took a ready-made example with an umbrella from a pink outline.https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/tool-techniques/join-tool.htmlI used the join tool as in the example, everything is fine (it connected the intersecting outlines and the overlapping ones too). Then I moved the green element a little and the join tool started to behave strangely.Example on the top right (dark turquoise umbrella).The intersecting outlines worked well.But the overlapping ones - I did some nonsense, I got a loooong tail. I also moved the green element and it also looked strange.Example on the bottom right (blue umbrella).The intersecting outlines worked well.But it doesn't connect the overlapping ones at all, although they are located close to each other. Adobe Illustrator 24.0.1 from 2019 yearLink to Ai file "join tool.ai" https://vk.com/wall-226891554_6Best regards !

Is there a shortcut where I can be in a Pen Tool flow, then hold a shortcut to continue the line in a freehand style, and release the shortcut to continue in node method? I know how to do it by drawing with the Pen, stopping to switch to the Pencil, then stopping, switching back to Pen, then selecting and joining the paths, but want a more seemless flow.  

Mac M1 Sonoma 14.3 Ilustrator 29.3.1 Please fix the dropdown menus. They stop responding after a little while. It's very time-consuming having to quit Illustrator, maybe delete the preferences, re-boot, and get back to work. One tends to lose one's train of thought. Thank you!

I use grids and rulers a lot! One of my biggest bugaboos occurss when I have multiple artboards. When you click on the second, third or fourth...artboard (any artboard other than the first one), while the ruler is lined up with the artboard, the grid is not (the corner (e.g., the top left corner) is not lined up with the corner of the grid box at location (0,0) on the ruler. Is there a setting where the default can be that any and all artboards automatically line up not only at the 0,0 point on the ruler BUT that also lines up with the corner of the grid box (and taking that one stop further, I usually have it set in inches where 1" = 8 little squares/boxes. So can I set a default such that the artboard aligns at 0,0 on the ruler as well as the corner of the upper left corner of the 1" box? I hope I explained my issue clearly enough. Thank you so much!

How to find (delete) all objects, any point of which does not intersect with the artboard? In my example, this is all objects except for the light blue ones. In other words, you need to determine which objects are completely off the artboard.  

Hello everyone, I designed a black and white logo using black surfaces and white lines on top for simplicity. But now, I would like my white lines to be transparent and 'cut' through my black surfaces. Is this possible? I’m posting pictures of what I have (beige background) and what I would like to have (white background). Thank you !

Every project I wok on when I open it the color pallet is RGB.  I am trying to design for wide format print and need it to be CMYK.  I can not find the setting to make the color swatches defult mto CMYK no matter what I do.  PLEASE HELP!!!

I have been using the shape builder for years and years very consistently. I noticed immediately after updating to the 29.3 release that it now creates extremely jagged lines from totally smooth lines. Please see attached before and after photos! This is extremely frustrating. Any ideas how to fix?

Hello! I've been having issues using the pen tool in illustrator when I hold down shift to constrain a line to a straight or 45 degree angle. The issue is that the line jitters violently and jumps around when I place it, lagging considerably.I would point fingers at my system, but I own a Surface Book 2 with a gtx 1060, so I'm not sure if processing capability is the culprit. However, I've found that disabling the gpu performance option gets rid of this jitter, but it's a workaround for now. I've also tried updating gpu drivers, but this didn't solve the problem as well. Has anyone else faced this problem before?{Renamed by MOD}

Hey all,I'm setting actions in Illustrator to save multiple file formats of the same file to streamline workflow.Is there any way to add to a filename using/while using the actions?Ex:Saving business card designs I need to save five PDF files:FrontFront w/o crop marksBackBack w/o crop marksand Full art.Is there a way to add the description to/modify the file name within actions?So if the original name is:Client_BCI can run the action and it will auto saveClient_BC_Front.pdfClient_BC_Front_NoCrop.pdfClient_BC_Back.pdfClient_BC_Back_NoCrop.pdfandClient_BC.pdf??Does that make sense?Any and all help is very appreciated.Thanks!

I have an issue with one of my Illustrator files, it will not let me select or edit anything in the file. I have tried the same file on a different computer and same thing. I tried renaming the file, restarting my computer. There are no locked layers. Nothing seems to help at all, I cannot do anything. I also tried updating Illustrator (the problem started before I updated), but it's still doing the same thing. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

Actualicé mi licencia porque anteriormente me aparecía este mensaje y ahora que instalé los programas de nuevo sigo sin poder abrirlos por este mismo mensaje. Cambié mi correo electrónico, desinstalé todo desde mi computadora y ya no sé de qué otra forma puedo hacer para que funcione 😞  Gracias!

Mein Frage lässt sich mit dem gif besser erklären: Ich habe eine Form ohne Füllung und kann sie nicht schwarz einfärben. Jede andere Farbe geht, aber schwarz geht nicht. Ich brauche eine Lösung, um das zu ändern, weil ich solche Flächen oft in schwarz umwandeln muss. Derzeit geht es nur so: Ohne Füllung -> andere Farbe -> schwarz. Weiß jemand, wie ich das abschalten kann?

 Hello,I’m working on an Illustrator JSX script where I want to rename selected layers according to certain rules. However, I am having trouble getting the selected layers. I’ve tried using selection and other methods, but they don’t seem to work as expected. Here’s the code snippet I’ve been using: var doc = app.activeDocument; var selectedLayers = doc.selection; But doc.selection is not returning the selected layers as expected. Can anyone help me with the correct way to get the selected layers in Illustrator for renaming purposes? Any suggestions or examples would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance!
