Hi,   I have a problem where the bounding box (blue highlight) disappears, ONLY when moving an object – it's there when I select the object but when I drag it it disappears. This has just started happening and I'm sure I've accidentally hit the wrong keyboard shortcut somewhere along the line but I can't work out how to fix the issue.   Any thoughts much appreciated.   Cheers,   Rob   {Renamed by MOD}

I import png or psd files with transperency and edges of cut out image and strangely deformed as if there was some mask on it. The first picture is from illustrator and the second from Photoshop. What can be wrong&

When I make two shapes on the same layer, I put the brown one above the grey one, but sometimes when this happens, the stroke of the grey shape shows through the fill of the brown shape. The transparency of the brown one is 100% and I try to send the grey one to the back, nothing happens.(when I delete both shapes and the layer and start over, it fixes it, but I want to know why this happens so I don't get too far in my project and have to delete everything.)

I keep getting this pop up whenever I take a screenshot. I have recently uninstalled an older version of illustrator and this started happening after. Any idea how I may fix this?  

Ever since updating Illlustrator, I've found that, when I export using Asset Export, the resulting files are not the scale I specified. Instead, they export as the size they are on the artboard. For example: I created a graphic that fills a 2000px artboard. I exported the graphic using Asset Export and specified 750px width. Instead, it exports at 2000px width. Huge pain when exporting graphics for a website!!

Hi There, Working with a file and when I zoom out the graphic turns to stripes. I've updated illustrator and also restarted my computer twice and can't seem to get to the bottom of this. Any help much appreciated. The graphics are bitmaps.  Below is the zoom level at which I can see the illustrations again as well as the zoomed out stripes. 

I can't change any fonts I make away from the default. The list just says "No results found" as seen below:I have tried updating and restarting, downloading new fonts from creative cloud, and opening documents with existing text but the result is always the same. I hope this is something silly I am missing but I can't find any info on this.

Hey everybody! I recently added Cheddar Gothic to my creative cloud to use and what I type on the document is different than what I see on the preview on Adobe Fonts. There are times where I type with it and I get the appearance that was advertsed but that's seldom. The version I want is without the little accents on, for example, the A or E.  I attached an example below.  Thanks!

Since the 24.1 version of Illustrator, it is no longer possible when you have multiple artboards in a file to export a visual to png format from one specific artboard without ending up with the dimensions of all artboards.I have a file in which I am saving a set of icons on separate artboards. It used to be possible to export a single icon with its own outlines as a png by hiding all other content. Since version 24.1, Illustrator no longer 'sees' the individual visual, but sticks to the dimensions of all artboards. After reporting this issue, the 'solution' was to not use multiple artboards, and copy each individual layer into a new file. Another 'solution' was to use the artboard selction option while exporting. This too is not an option, because the image will get the (square or rectangular) shape of the artboard, and not the shape of the visual. The response of Adobe was that my request to roll back the option to export wasn't possible (although it was an option up until the 24.02 v

Hi all, I know this has previously been discussed however I can't find a solution to the problem . . .I've used CC libraries regularly for years and over the past few weeks, they're disappearing a couple of hours after creating them or editing an existing asset.Theyshowing their preview, they're useable for a short time & they  syncronise in the cloud but then vanish showing an empty asset. Mac Mini M2, OS Sonoma 14.4.1,  Illustrator 28.4.1Thanks in advance

Hi all,Thanks for taking the time to read this, my company will soon be running patch printing, we have been given a template that was from someone else, but needs amending onto our jig template.I need to amend the positioning of the automated text box (right) as it isn't centre aligned. Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to move the automated text box? The left text box is linked (somehow) to the right box, so when I change the text on the left box, it will change on the right. Due to the position of the jig, I need to reposition the linked box. Thanks to anyone that reads this, and a bigger thanks if anyone chooses to reply and lend assitance!  

Hi,    I know typically to do find/replace operations on text in AI scripting, we iterate through a doc's textframes and find/replace contents. However, I am dealing with a document whose text frames are not actually TextFrames, but PluginItems. I'm not sure how these frames were generated (doc came from client's client). Essentially, I'd be OK if I could somehow record an action of F/R and export it out, and replace the Replace contents with dynamic content. Is that feasible?  As far as I can tell, the PluginItem has no contents property that I can change. Alternatively, does anyone know how I can achieve the same outcome in the attached doc, which uses the plugin frame. Essentially, it functions like a curved area text, but stays at its defined bounds regardless of how many characters are input. TIA. Hoping someone here can help.I have been getting a file sync error on my CC App for a while but more recently I am unable to access my illustrator files that have been saved as cloud only. It flags an error message saying to contact the document owner.I have switched off my fire wall to see if that would allow files to sync, but it didn't. I then completely removed adobe products from my machine including using the cleaner tool to remove everything. I then installed the CC App fresh and illustrator. But I am getting the same errors.I installed the CC App on another device and was able to access the file. Unfortunately I can't use my daughter's aging laptop as my primary device. So far I have spent over 4 hours with adobe support agents trying to fix this but to no avail. I am the lead designer where I am and my team can access the files because I shared them with them previously, but I also need access.Does anyone have any further ideas about what could be happening?

Is there a way to make [High Resolution] the default for Transparency when saving as .eps

Hi, This file size jumps a lot when I add detail to it, making it harder to code into my app. I have the file called JEANS which is 33KB vs the PATCHWORK JEANS that are 328KB. I want to reduce the size of the patchwork down to below 50KB in order to code it into the app. Any ideas?

I am working whith Illustrator cc 2018 and i created a text and Outline it. i need to cancel the outline.[the file fas been saved and i can't go back using ctrl z]At least is there @a whay to find out the font i used before i outlined the text?

I am wanting to use the width tool to widen the stroke of the red line to match the black line, but when I get the bounding box to the desired size, it goes all wonky and uneven like this. I want it to be even on both sides. As you can see, the width point edit box claims that the sides are both the same, but it is not appearing as such.Help would be appreciated!

FIX IT.   OVER 20 years using illustrator and 2020 is not exporting the BLEED with JPGs!  Why?  When will this be fixed?  Thank you. 

There's no clear way of canceling the subscription at all on the website. On top of it, my subscription was renewed "before 30-days". WHY?? Aren't you supposed to ask if I want to renew? And before the 30 day cycle is complete, you just go ahead and charge my credit card without authorization? A monthly plan means a monthly plan!And where's the "cancel subscription" button??Adobe live chat support isn't working either, so no other way to contact anyone at Adobe.
