Is it possible to open incopy files in the cloud through one drive?

I need to share incopy files with a client and be able to work in the same space but I don't seem to be able to access the files that I have copied up to one drive on my mac. Am I missing something or is it only workable through dropbox?

Depending on your situation, you can install the OneDrive software and both use the same account. The OneDrive will show up as a folder on your computer. (With OneDrive software, you can setup one personal and one enterprise account.) Just be sure you don't edit the same file at the same time. (Exceptions can be made if opening an InDesign file through InCopy, but that's not what you asked.)

OneDrive works just fine, but there's an extra step involved over Dropbox. When you share the folder, the other person has to take the step of adding it to their OneDrive. You have to allow full editing when doing so.

Additionally, you should both turn off cloud-only. One other caveat since you mention you're on a Mac. Watch out for illegal characters in file names.

Thank you Bob. So to clarify I store my files on dropbox but then give them a link to download to one drive then keep my files active on dropbox and I don't work on the one drive files?

You said "one drive" and I assumed you meant OneDrive. You both have to be using the service.

If you need to share via Dropbox you need to share the folder then the other person has to accept it using their Dropbox account and add the folder to their Dropbox.

    Download links WILL NOT WORK!
