I've been using a smart collection to export all edited photos at once, randomly most of the photos I scroll through are showing " has edits " when I didn't edit them. I can't for the life of me figure it out. 

I've been experiencing significant performance issues with Adobe Lightroom and I'm hoping to get some advice or solutions from the community. While editing photos in Lightroom, I've noticed that the system becomes very slow and unresponsive. Specifically, when I try to adjust parameters (such as exposure, contrast, etc.), the mouse pointer gets stuck or lags for 1 to 3 seconds before it responds to my movements. This lag makes it incredibly difficult to make precise adjustments and disrupts my workflow significantly. Additionally, zooming in and out of images is extremely slow. There is a noticeable delay before the zoom action completes, and sometimes the system seems to freeze momentarily during this process. All softwares and drivers are up-to-date. Hello there,I'm on Lightroom Classic 8.2 and I have been trying to geotag my pictures by dragging them on the map as I've seen people do in many videos.However, this is not working, after I dropped the picture nothing happens. No point created on the map and still no GPS coordinate in the metadata.Mind you, I am very fresh with Lightroom so the mistake is probably on my side, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.Thank you in advance.

Since downloading this update I have had nothing but trouble on my desktop Mac, running Sonoma. The program is very, very slow in moving from one photo to another and I can no longer access Topaz Studio 2 or Nik applications directly from LR. What is the solution to resolve these issues?

So, after updating to 13.3.1 (Mac OS Sonoma 14.5) I was still having "syncing 15 images" stuck forever with zero images in the "sync errors" folder. I decided to "rebuild sync data" and clicked on that button and Lightroom restarted and set the sycn on pause. I have pressed "resume sync" and the 15 images syncing are still there, but no RE-syncing of the whole lot (I have thousands of images). After pressing the "rebuild sync data" button, Am I supposed to wait leaving sync on pause untill it is reinabled automatically? Why the heck Adobe does not tell us what to do next after we press that "rebuild sync" button, and why the heck there is no progress message saying like "rebuilding sync data 20% done"? 

I have a problem with importing RAW files. Each import ends up in LR crashing. There is a spike in CPU usage then crash.  SetupLR 13.3114th Gen i9RTX4080 supernvme  All drivers updated. In order to somehow do some work with files i have to import them in batches. (50-200 at a time). Anybody had that issue?

When I am importing large numbers of pictures at once, lightroom classic causes my whole computer to crash. Usually 1,000 or more pictures. It's a mac and I always see a pink screen right before it restarts. Before the computer crashes the whole computer grinds to a hault, I can't move the mouse or use the keyboard eventually, then it crashes.  I don't know if this is relevent information but it might help. It's a mac studio with the M1 max chip. Lightroom version 12.5. I'm importing pictures to a NAS. The Lightroom library lives on an externally connected SSD drive. 

Hello,    Lightroom Classic 13.3.1 will not open on my Mac Book Pro running OS Ventura 13.6.7.  The program begins to open, appears on the dock then dissapears.  I have deinstalled and re installed several times and updated my laptop.   Any other suggestions?Thanks!    [moving from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Hi all! For the first time I thought I'd try the Lightroom Slideshow tab to get an important job done quickly... simple yeah?   I tested it with full sized images from my library and all looked good - however I needed to use reduced size images sent to me by my fellow club members - and this gave me a big problem.  Despite clicking "Zoom to fill frame"  - it didn't!  All the images were displayed in a reduced frame despite the image appearing perfect when in the editing stage - as soon as I press play the images shrink!  And this isn't cured by saving as a video file - same deal...   If I replace the images with originals from my library all looks good - but all the other images were 1600x1200 max.   Anyone else have this problem?  In the end I used my video editing software (now Da Vinci - was Premiere pro (sorry)) - and this did the trick, eventually, but I really wanted to use the metadata from the images which a video editor doesn't expect to

Hallo zusammen! Da de Platz auf meiner Festplatte kürzlich knapp wurde, habe ich eine externe Festplatte via USB-C an meinen Mac angeschlossen und in LrC als neues Laufwerk hinzugefügt. Im Anschluss habe ich via LrC Drag and Drop meine Ordner vom ursprünglichen Ort an einen neuen Ort auf der neuen Festplatte verschoben. Dies geschah ohne Fehler oder Unterbrechungen und am Ende waren alle Bilder auf der neuen Festplatte und nicht mehr auf der alten. Alles so, wie es sein sollte. Leider arbeitet LRC seitdem nicht wie gewohnt. Zum habe ich nun Probleme beim Import: Wenn ich Importiere (und dabei als Ziel natürlich einen Ordner auf der neuen HD angebe, dann werden zwar alle Bilder korrekt in diesen Ordner kopiert, aber in der Ordneransicht wird mir nach dem Import angezeigt, dass sich in dem Ordner 0 Bilder befinden (obwohl ich mit dem Finder alle Bilder in dem Ordner sehe). Wenn ich beim Importieren die Bilder automatisch einer Sammlung hinzugefügt habe, dann kann ich sie zumindest ü

I have a Windows 11 PC using LrC 13.3.1 and 64 GB RAM.  Up until yesterday, the Select People Mask worked beautifully. Now, every change on a component of the mask such as face, schlera, iris and pupil, and the rest of them are GLOBAL within the mask.  It is like the system is working on the initial select people mask only instead of creating all the component of the mask to adjust manually.  I love the feature but now it appears to be broken.  Do I need to uninstall and reinstall LrC [groan]? Why did this happen? The problem repeats despite repeated reboots and reopening of LrC. I click on the image, select the person from the images of people created, and then choose which selections to adjust. Every change is like the latter function, creating the individual components, did not materialize in the selection list [but they are there and I checked the ones I wanted] when I clicked on Create Mask. Wie kann ich die Personenindizierung in Lightroom 13.3.1 stoppen?

When I crop photos, I would like to maintain a minimum number of pixels in the crop.  If the crop tool allowed the setting of either the long edge or short edge number of pixels, the would significantly increase my workflow speed.  Currently, I look at the cropped image size and try to get it as close to the number I'm looking for.  Ideally the box would stop at the minimum and not get any smaller.

Hello! Sometime in the past couple months I reset all edits on nearly my entire library of 200,000 photos without realizing it! Apparently there is a shortcut keystroke to reset settings or something and I must have selected all (or nearly all) somehow and hit that keystroke. I need to find all photos that have "Reset Settings" applied to them. I tried using search and tried filters but nothing seems to find this "Reset Settings" edit. How can I find all photos that have been reset? I've lost a huge amount of work and I'm hoping to not have to go through each photo one by one since only about 95% have been affected by this. I'd prefer to find ones that actually had edits and were reset if possible. Any help is appreciated! Cheers!TJ

Hi Folks - hoping I can find a solution...I've gone through several posts...this seems a unique problem. Situation: replacing my old iMac 2017 with a new iMac 24.On old iMac I had photo library on a RAID system with catalogue on internal HD. I want to move catalogue to the external HD (RAID)...following online advice on how to do that. I tested LRC on my old iMac to endure it would open successfully on the old iMac, from the new catalogue file location (on same external HD system) - which it did successfully. When I connect the external HD to new iMac I launched the catalogue file from the external HD and get this error message. So how do I change 'folder permissions'??? I did go into Sys Preferences and LRC is checked off to allow access under Security & Privacy. As an aside, I know it's not ideal to have catalogue off of the internal HD but it can be done...I have to this point managed my catalogue of ~50, 000 images as one... Any help much appreciated...hope

I need help! I'm doing a large event edit -- everything was going fine, edited a bunch yesterday successfully, and now today when I try to copy/paste edits, batch edit, etc, this error message will pop up "could not update AI settings for (however many) photos". Dear Adobe Team,In order to prevent your long time customers from moving to other software company alternatives (as I will be doing), I would recommend that you at least allow users who have purchased your products (Example: Lightroom 6 - CD Version) to install and utilize them for as long as they wish (as is the case with all the other software I have ever purchased on CD/disk), rather than trying to push them into a subscription-based model without any prior knowledge. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with Adobe and will not be purchasing or using any Adobe Software products moving forward.Cheers,Jordan

Bonjour, je me suis abonné à lightroom + lightroom classic depuis hier, Lightroom est connecté à internet mais je n'arrive pas à établir la connection internet en haut à droite dans lightroom classic pour pouvoir télécharger les presets (préréglages) de développement ( je peux voir le rendu mais impossible de les télécharger) je suis pourtant connecté à créative cloud desktop. Every time I try to delete a photo in LR Classic, the only option I'm give is to "Remove." This happens regardless of how I attempt to delete (through the photo menu, backspacing, hitting delete, etc.).  Any help would be appreciated.   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. There is no option to reset new mask slides automatically. Where could it be?? It always did it with earlier versions. Manual reset really slows down the development process.   [Mod: Reformatting post and branched from an older thread referring to a different topic]
