One of the main reason I and many others stick with Adobe, is that with Portfolio it offers a built-in portfolio website builder. Since I have created my website four years ago, no updates have been made to the system and it’s starting to feel out of date. Adobe really needs to keep this feature up to date if it wants to keep users from ditching Adobe for a cheaper alternative and different portfolio website provider. Edit: I have no idea why this post has been moved to the Lightroom board, but the fact that there is no dedicated Portfolio board underlines my point.

Added a preset and my picture now has double exposure. i thought it glitched out and would go back but it hasn’t yet!

To analyze treatment progression, orthognathic alignment, or orthodontic evolution accurately, all of these photos must be aligned perfectly frame-by-frame.Currently, doing this in Lightroom Desktop is an exhausting, imprecise guessing game using the standard crop grid and its variations. It is highly frustrating and inefficient for clinical standards.I want to make it absolutely clear: I do not want to constantly switch between different programs (like Photoshop) just to achieve a simple alignment. Currently the new Lightroom will show all photos in a folder when using it to manage the offline storage (using it as a faster and lightweight alternative to Classic, but not using cloud storage), so if I import both raw and jpg files, they will show as adjacent photos, which is annoying. Although I can filter the files using extensions, but it doesn't work well if I have multiple cameras from multiple vendors, thus with different raw extensions names. So can Lightroom add a feature which automatically hides the same name jpg, and only showing raw files, just like how Lightroom Classic behaves in the catalog, which will import (copy/move) both jpg and raw, but only show raw if its raw+jpg.

Import profiles are missing from Lr, and something as basic as specifying 0 manual sharpening when sharpening is handled prior to import requires changing the slider from 40 (default) to 0 for every single image.

I have used Lightroom for years, and the latest import workflow is a spectacular example of redesigning something that was already working well and making it substantially less efficient.I am importing photographs from an OM System camera card. Instead of giving me a clear, conventional import dialog, Lightroom now takes me through a confusing selection screen with tiny thumbnails and no obvious Import button. I had to hunt around simply to figure out how to proceed.This isn’t making Lightroom easier to use. Ich Arbeite gerne mit meinem IPad Pro in Kombination mit der Logitech Combo Touch. Hier meine Funktion: Wenn der Mauszeiger auf einem Schieberegler bei z.b den Lichteinstellungen oder Farbeinstellungen etc. Schwebt, kann man mit Hilfe des Trackpads mit 2 Fingern nach Links oder nach rechts wischen, um dementsprechend den Wert zu verändern.Zum Verhalten der Intensität beim Wischen und der Wertveränderung, wäre eine Idee die Geschwindigkeit wie schnell man mit den Fingern wischt, die Geschwindigkeit der Wertveränderung sich ändert, sodass man Fein regeln kann, aber auch durch schnelles wischen Schneller Hoch oder runter regeln kann.  Technischer Funktionsplan Mauszeiger über reglerschaltfläche → 2 Finger auf Trackpad → nach Links wischen → Wert verschiebt sich nach links                                                                                                  → nach Rechts wischen → Wert Verschiebt sich nach rechts    Ich würde mich sehr über eine Rückmeldung oder ein Feedback übe

Hello, I’m having an issue with Adobe Lightroom on my iPhone. I previously had a Lightroom subscription, but I cancelled it through the App Store. After cancelling the subscription, Lightroom is no longer opening properly and keeps asking me to take an action that I don’t understand. I have already deleted and reinstalled the app several times and restarted my iPhone, but the issue still continues. Could you please help me fix this issue? I upgraded from iPhone 14 Pro Max to 17 Pro Max. For some reason when I put my photos taken with the new iPhone through Lightroom (mobile version) to export them as sRGB for socials they come out much darker in exposure. This happens to all of the photos. I tried again my old photos taken with the 14 Pro Max and I don't have this issue. How do I fix this and what is going on? This is driving me insane. Thank you very much!

Since I changed my phone, I can't connect to Lightroom Mobile. When I select connect with Adobe ID, it opens an Error Window : "bad_request Request parameters failed to meet all constraints". I'm on the last version of Lightroom 11.5.31 and the last version of Android 16 (August 5 2026).I can connect directly on Google, on account.adobe.com, but not on Lightroom Mobile. I already tried to uninstall the app.If anyone has an idea…Thanks by advance

We get so many questions about this I decided that an authoritative post would be helpful.    If you've purchased a subscription from a mobile app store, (e.g. Apple's App Store, the Google Play Store or the Samsung Store), the subscription is for mobile devices only. Running Lightroom Desktop on a PC or a Mac requires a specific subscription purchased for desktop computers.   The Desktop subscription includes access to the Mobile product but not vice-versa. Lightroom Web is included in all subscriptions. If you've purchased the incorrect subscription for your needs, or your needs have changed, please login here to update your plan: https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom.html After subscribing to the Ecosystem plan, you can decide whether to cancel your mobile-only plan. Hello, I have got an issue. After sharing photos from Lightroom to my clients they are unable to download the images. Before sharing under settings I always enable "allow JPG downloads and export". I am using the latest vesion of Lr on an iMac macOS BIG Sur Version 11.6 Any advice would be very much appriciated. Thanks and regards, Zita

HeeeeyFor quite some time now, I’ve been getting the error “No retouchable areas could be found” when using the Retouch feature in Lightroom Mobile. I’ve restarted and updated my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, and made sure everything is up to date, but the error still persists, even when there are clearly suitable areas in the photo that should be retouchable. 

My lightroom app on my galaxy tablet is prompting me to restore my purchase. I have tried to do this but each time I do it is taking anything from 3 to over 15 minutes without success. I've signed out and in, cleared cache, powered off tablet etc, all the usual 'fixes' but nothing works?

I want to find specific images or groups/categories of images in my Lightroom cloud library. How do I add metadata to my images so I can find them more easily with search queries? Alternatively, how do I build search queries using the metadata available in Lightroom cloud-style library searches?

I’ve always had an easy time dragging and dumping photos from my filmstrip into a subfolder through the menu panel on the left. Since updating Lightroom (I hadn’t in a while due to PC issues), there is now a big thumbnail preview of the photo covering a large area, and it’s difficult to see which folder or subfolder I’m about to dump the photo into. Selecting the wrong folder will be incredibly annoying. I have to move the cursor around a bit as I’m dragging the photo to get a glimpse of what’s behind. This presents difficulties as I try to organize my photos. Mainly, I’m narrowing down the selection of photos I have to process by putting the “not great but maybe worth keeping” photos into their own subfolder…I just want it to act the way it used to when I’d drag a photo around.

I've deleted photos from lightroom and its also deleted from my tablet. I've checked under deleted folders but its not anywhere to be found. Please help! 

This only applies to stitched photos (panoramas). Jpeg and avif does not generate this problem.5000x4000px
