When selecting "Subtract from Selection" from the already selected area, it behaves like a normal selection instead of subtracting from the already selected path. It makes the selection of that path instead of subtracting that path. I tried this with multiple different selections but the result is the same.  Please help rectify this bug. As a workaround, I am using Lasso Tool in '-' mode. Thank you,Nayan Soni Photography

Photoshop beta just collapsed and all my work disappeared. This happens all the time! Please fix it.I was working on an animation and when I finished I just couldn't save my work. I tried reopening the file. I tried copying the animation to a new project. None of the methods worked. I just had to force quit. When I opened the file again NOTHING was saved.

Were you ever missing new tools like the Remove tool or the Object Selection tool from your toolbar? Have you ever customized your toolbar via the Edit Toolbar command or by changing a Keyboard Shortcut?  Did you know your customized interface preferences roll over from version to version?Users with a customized tool bar will not have new tools added automatically. This is because Photoshop is respecting your toolbar customization. New tools are placed in the "Extra Tools" section of the edit toolbar dialogue by default. While some users applaud this action, others are left confused… Wondering why they don't have the new tools.   Beginning August 18, 2023 the following solution for missing new tools will be enabled in Photoshop (Beta).   On first launch after upgrade install: If you have a custom toolbar and "new" tools are in the Extra Tools, then you'll see the following dialog.   You must make a choice: The new tools will be grouped together in a new slot i

The AI generation tool has been acting up since the update. I was correcting the missing background on my photos during a shoot and it doesn't do anything harmonious any more, it makes big blocks of colour or very ugly transitions..................

[Mod: Moved to the Photoshop Beta forum]

The most recent beta update seems to provide worse back groung fills.  The new ones are much busier, less specific, frequesntly add grotesque looking people and have poorer color.  Is it just me or has anyone else noticed?  If it's just me, has there been a change I'm not incorporating into my work?  Thanks.

I'm finding the generative report window interface on a 4K display to be too large to be able to report a good or bad match resultI don't know if others have the same issue as me ..... i hope you can look into it

When I try to open Adobe Photoshop (beta), the program writes "an unrecoverable error has occurred photoshop will exit". Prior to this, there was an update version 25.0

Merci 🙂

Why!  Why!  Why are we being forced to use the updated Photoshop Beta when it has so many issues?!  I switched back to the previous version, which was working great, but now I'm getting a message that I have to use the updated version if I wish to use the generative fill/AI.  It doesn't work!  And, now I'm back to the same issues I was having before. Why not allow us to use the previous version until all the kinks have been ironed out?  So frustrating

Been looking for this answer all over the place and I am unable to find anything on it.  The generate fill is a great tool, but I am finding it difficult to ask the AI fill to correct or even add in a image that is a word which is spelled correctly. Not trying to add text to the photo.  I am trying to correct a spelling on a graphic patch that IS a word, if that makes sense. For example:  The picture is a police officer with a vest facing away.  On the pack of the vest, it has a patch that should simply read "POLICE"  -  Instead I am getting  "POLCE"  or my favorite just now is "PILLICE"The AI constantly misspells what I am asking.  Is this intentional by the AI?   If anyone can help me with a proper way on what to type to achieve the desired effect, it would be great.  PIC Attached - Just trying to change the wording on patch in back.  Yes I am fully aware of how to change this by other means with photoshop,&nb

I used to succeed installing the Beta. And it works till one day the generative fills keep showing errors. so i tried to update and it wont installing. i update the OS to Ventura on my Macbook Air M1. and uninstall the Beta, and tried to install again. But it kept failing at around 80% installation. Whats the prolem? any help?

Selecting, Close and go to Bridge, results in creative cloud desktop opening instead of retuning to bridge.VERY Annoying.
