Elements 2019 installed on old and new Mac, current OS installed. Did optimize then full catalog backup from old Mac to removable drive. Message said backup complete. Unmounted and moved drive to new Mac, selected the location of backup just completed, tried to restore backup (tried both with and without selecting restore original file structure) and get the message "drive does not contain a valid backup." Really no idea what to do next.

I keep copies of my applications on DVD disks just in case I need to reinstall them.  Is there a way to download the full version of Photoshop Elements 2022 - or can we only download the small instalaler app that downloads and installes the main program?  I like being able to re-install without having to download it again over the internet - this is especially important to folks on limited bandwidth or limited download data plans.    THANKS  TT

I have been using PSE for decades and now I am having problems changing foreground to my chosen color, no matter which tool I am at or which color selection method I use.  It stubbornly stays gray.  The bakground stays white.

I use Google photos to back up my iphone 7 pics.I want to import photos from google photo to photoshop elements 2019.I already have imported photos to Elements from another camera, so I have files set up.I use High Sierra on my macbook pro.I cannot figure out how to do this.  thanks.

I have downloaded Elements 11 from disc onto a new Windows 10 PC. Successfully completed updates but elements is sometimes unresponsive. I have noticed Elements Auto Analyse is hogging the memory. What is it and how do I control it? There are 1000's of images in the catalog. copied from the old PC if that is important. 

Is this possible to do. I have seen photos of birds with the sky replaced but it was done with Lightroom and Photoshop somehow. Wondering if it is possible to replace only the sky in Elements 18 or is there a better way? Can lightroom be added as an addition to Elements?

I am using Photoshop Elements 2020 on a Mac with Mongterey OS. When I go to Create and select one of the projects like calendar I get a pop up the the template is dowloading. However it stops at 0% and the templates do not load. I've tried on Greeting Cards, Photo Book.and Calendar.  

How do you name a new folder in PSP using Windows?  I have created a new folder but cant name it. It goes to open rather than save  

Adobe should post the file and say:put it here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 20\File FormatsThe 8bi file goes in the File Formats folder.

My phone, a Samsung Galaxy Note8 (N950F) fully updated with the latest Android offerings. Likewise a W10 PC with all the latest updates etc.My photos have GPS metadata with this format. - TypicallyGPSGPS Version: 2.2.0.0GPS Latitude: 050,58,09NGPS Longitude: 000,01,18EGPS Altitude Ref: 0GPS Altitude: 75.00mI've searched Help, Forum et al and can find no guidance as to whether I have ticked all the right setup boxes etc to no avail. The photo will not Place on the map as I would have expected it to. If I've missed out on some instructions somewhere - or a YouTube video my apologies. Any guidance or experiences on how to get it working would be appreciated. It's a facility that's not been the most successful (or missing) for many years and I'd hoped that this release it would all magically work!

I created an AI photo outside of Elements. I saved the creation to Photoshop Elements. I resized it and saved. The image is gone---everything is gone! My organizer will not open. My photos are missing? It seems like my organizer has nothing in it. What happened? What can I do? I am on a PC using windows 10, it is up-to-date, and I am using PE 2020.

I am unable to save edited files as elements 2020 says they are locked and blah, blah......in ios finder to unlock (I followed to the letter) still does not allow but suggests duplicating file??????? i have 108,000 files! they must be joking!! It appears many people have had same problem over the years.  Does anybody use an alternative photo editor that is free or a reasonable price please, as neither Adobe nor Apple have satifactory soloution

I am using the trial version of PSE 22 and like it, but when I save a black and white image that I have colorized, the program saves it fine. Unfortunately, when I try to reload the picture later, I get the following message: Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file I get this after saving in jpg and bmp formats. I have not tried other formats This feature is particularly attractive to me because of all the old BW pictures I have. Any ideas?

Comme vous pouvez vous en apercevoir, certains éléments sont dans le noir ! Par contre aucun problème pour Premiere Elements 2022 et Organiseur 2022, le problème se pose uniquement pour Photoshop Elements 2022. PC : Microsoft Surface Studio 2 / Résolution : 4500 x 3000 Merci pour votre aide 🙂 

I  mainly use Elements 2019 but also occasional Luminar AI which I access using the 'External Editor' option. Luminar AI is set as the external editor in preferences.My question is: Is it possible to hasve more than one external editor in preferrences and, if it is, how do you set a second preferrence?

I recently purchased an updated version of Adobe Photoshop after my last one disappeared when I got a new harddrive.  The new one looks different than the old one, but I think I have figured it out.  However, the color choices are not in my toolbox, so that I can choose the color I want to use.  Where can I find the foregrund and background colors?

I own photoshop elements 2018 and I was trying to download it again on my new PC yet it wasn't available for download, if anybody knows how I can download it again I'd appreciate it.

I made a mistake and purchased Photoshop Ellements for Windows 2021 instead of the 2019 version.The 2019 version is like a DC3 airplane ... the only suitable replacement is another one just like it. How do I bypass the Welcome Screen and go directly to Photo Editor in PSE 2021 for Windows.

A few weeks ago, right after I installed PSE 2019, I stumbled across a filter (or effect) that "divided" my image into 3 x 3 equal sections, each one separated by an equa-width white line. What I see now in Tiles and Extrude seems to do something similar, but without the desired symmetry. Can someone please point me / redirect me to the choice that will let me reproduce this effect? I am running PSE 2020 on an iMac running Monterey 12.0.1I put the script listener plug-in into the plug in folder.I checked the system info in PSE and ScriptListener 21.1 is listed as installed.I opened and edited a file, and the ScriptingListenerJS.log does not appear on my desktop.Any help is appreciated. 

When I duplicate a layer that has a layer mask, the new layer keeps the edit/effect of the original layer in all areas (i.e. ignores the mask).  How do I duplicate a layer in a way that keeps the original mask's effects, but then allows me to then enhance and mask this new layer independently? For example, on a layer called "original"...1. I darken highlights (via Enhance > Adjust Lighting > Shadows/Highlights).2. I create a mask, then mask out certain areas at <100% opacity.3. I duplicate this "original" layer (via right-click > duplicate layer), which produces a "new" layer that includes the "original" mask.4. The "new" layer has the darkened highlights in the entire layer, as if the "original" layer had no mask at all.  (If I delete the "new" mask, it makes no difference.) I use Photoshop Elements 14.  Wasn't sure if this was my error or a PSE error (as far as choosing topic for this post). Thank you kindly,Kyla p.s. I have PS Elements 14. I uninstalled it and reinstalled on my Lenovo laptop running Windows 14. When I reinstall, I get the message "We are unable to validate this serial number for Photoshop elements 14. Please contact customer support". Customer Support is unable help since this version is off maintenance. Is there anyway to get this version up and running again?

I need to wipe out all folders and start over.  I want to break all the links and have folders dissapear in Organizer so I can reimport the way I want it.  When I opened Organizer for the first time it just started importing all on its own.  Plus it missing pictures in some of the folders.  I just want to start over. Is there a way? 

I am using Elements 19.0 in Windows 10When I scan a doc or photo using 'File-Get photos and videos-from scanner' the scan completes but instead of appearing in Organiser I get a message saying "1 Media files were skipped because they are already in the catalog" and underneath "The file already exists in the catalogue" with the link to the Elements scan storage folder with todays date. I have Preferences set to save to a folder in One Drive but it never gets there. Each time I have to use File Explorer to find the file and move it manually before I can get it into Organiser.What is wrong here with me and/or Organiser? Dennis
