I'm having a lot of trouble downloading premiere, I bought the package with Photoshop and premiere, I downloaded and initialized it perfectly fine with the serial number (I don't have a dvd player in my computer) and now I am trying to download and initialize premiere, but every time I download it and get it all ready to put my serial number in, it says its not valid for the premiere elements 15 which I was not trying to download but I can't seem to do anything but. I just want to download the correct program or be able to use my serial number to get to the correct program. I bought it like a year ago and I haven't been able to use it. I need some help.

Hello, In Premiere Elements 18, I have a grid with several clips playing simultaneously. Then a new scene with a different grid and clips playing. Can I apply a transition effect to the entire screen instead of to each clip? Thanks!

in my ASUS core i7 9th gen. with Nvidia Geforce gtx 1660 TI. the Adobe premiere elements 2020 monitor looks bad looks out of focus. what can it be? thank you. Antonio.

I've seen many of the fonts shown in name in text and titles are not actually there. Only a series of squares or squiggles..... Do I have to download a service pack or something to get the fonts I need? I think the phenomena occurs in PE19 as well to some extent......

Hi,When I go to List View in Project Assets and try to drag and drop a file from one folder to another, the file actually does move, but the list view does not update, so the move appears to have failed.   However, if I go to Grid View, I can see that the file is moved.  Also, the left hand triangles don't work consistently in list view.  Sometimes they will open the folder, sometimes not.  Is there any way to fix this?  Are others having this problem?  Thanks.Zaffer

I record my daughter's volleyball games on a GoPro, and usually end up with 3-4 mp4 files per set when I pause the recording at timeouts. I've used Premiere elements 2018 to combine those files in to one project per set, deleted the audio, then split the timeline at the end of each point, deleted the stuff between points and closed the gap. Everything has worked well so far.Next, I'd like to save each point (there are 43 in the project I'm working on now) as an individual mp4 file. I figured I could right-click on the clip in the timeline and save it individually, but there's no option like that. If I choose clip from the right-click menu, there's a break apart option, but it's grayed out. How can I create those smaller files?

My Gopro footage no longer plays back on my Premier Elements 2019.The footage uploads but i cant press play for it to play.I can still edit but i have to export to my laptop before i can play back and watch.I removed the programme from my laptop and re  uploaded hoping this would help but no.Can someone please advise?I have asked Adobe on Twitter 2 times now but no answer back.

Hi.  When I make movies from Premiere Elements 2020, I use .jpg and .mp4 files I've imported from my Pixel3 photo and video camera.  When I use the video camera, I often pan around - especially when I'm filming from a view point on a hiking trail. When I'm ready to Export & Share before uploading to my YouTube channel, I have often wondered what I should do with the "quality" setting:I found this statement on the User Guide:QualitySpecifies the level of quality for the final file. A setting of 3.0 is a good general setting; however, video with lots of motion may benefit from a higher setting. The higher the quality setting, the longer it takes to render the file.Link to this is at: Quality Common Settings Since I do "panning" with my videos, I felt this might help the final product if I move the slide bar to the highest quality setting (not sure what 3.0 is?).Question:Does anyone see any harm in my moving the slide bar for Quality to the highest setting?Tha

Hi.  I am having an issue with the resulting mp4 file from doing an Export and Share.Once I've completed creating my video, I click on Export & Share, Computer, Resolution and choose HD 1080.  I am creating this mp4 file for my YouTube channel, and to store on my google photos account/site.My timeline contains both photos (jpg) and video files (mp4) taken on my Google Pixel 3 phone camera/video camera.When I look at the video files on my phone, they look fine and smooth.But, when I add them to the Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 project and export to the resulting .mp4 file, many of the video files are "jerky".  By that, I mean that when I am doing a slow pan say - from right to left, the pan is "jerky" and not smooth. When the mp4 file, located in the timeline is run and shown in the "preview area" above the timeline, it looks pretty good and smooth.  However, when I look at the finished product, that same segment (mp4 file) of the exported movie is not.Any t

Hi.  I purchased Elements 2020 in October, 2019 and have experienced an unusal problem when rendering (click on Render button).  This always seems to happen when:1. I have a .jpg or .mp4 file next to another .jpg or .mp4 file (in the Video 1 line)2. I add a transtion (I always use Film Dissolve)3. I have text (as a caption) on the Video 2 line above (the Video 1 line where the files are)Error: I get an orange or purple color in the "Render Status" line.In this example, I see purple, but normally see orange:In this example, you can see purple over the transition between the .mov file and the .mp4 file (more often, it is orange).  This happens onl almost every project I've developed.    If I don't correct it (replacing the orange or purple with green), when I run the rendered project, it "jumps" a moment before displaying the text in video 2 line.  The normal solution is to try to shorten either the text or .mp4 or .jpg file in Video 1 line into which t

I also have absolutely no sound. I had sound for the first 4 months of 2017 with PE 15 but all of the sudden, sound stopped in May. Seemingly right after the March Windows update. Anyway, I have read through and tried everything I read in the forums and on the internet. I have changed the audio settings to everything possible as well as tried a million times for what the settings should be. I have made sure to have updated audio drivers as well as rolled back the drivers back to when it should have been working when I first installed Premiere Elements. I am beside myself why I can't get ANY audio out of Premiere Elements 15 running Windows 10 Enterprise with Fall Creator's update installed on a Dell XPS 15 9550.Also have cleared all the media cache and file cache, restarted PE after every change. Also have Uninstalled, cleaned out all left over files, and reinstalled multiple times.Have also tried external usb sound cards with external speakers with changing the preferences in PE. Stil

I'd like to record live video from my Sony RX100 VII and my webcam to Premiere Elements on my MacBook Air. I have connected the camera using a Lindy HDMI-USB adapter which works fine with Skype and Teams so I know it's working. However, When I try to select 'Videos from cameras and devices' on the Add Media dropdown I get the message 'No supported device is selected'. Indeed it can't even find the webcam on my MacBook.All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Hi,So, I saw Steve Grisetti's tutorial on how to blur a face in PE. It works. However, what is the best way to blur multiple faces (non-adjacent, so I cannot use a bigger shape). I tried to use 2 track matte key effects on 2 faces, but it did not work. Or I need to use effects mask in this case? Thanks!

Hello:I like organizing my projects on the computer to make sure that I have enough space. I am trying to understand what to do with the files auto-generated by Adobe Premiere Elements in folder named "18.0". Here are the names of the auto-generated folders:Adobe Premiere Elements Audio PreviewsAdobe Premiere Elements Auto-SaveAdobe Premiere Elements Captured AudioAdobe Premiere Elements Captured VideoAdobe Premiere Elements Video PreviewsEncoded FilesLayoutsStylesVCAssetsIs it save to delete these files as they are temporary? Or I need to keep them indefinitely?Thank you!

I just installed Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 on the latest version of Win10.  While the Organizer app will launch the video story, instant video, plus other options under Create won't launch.  Any assistance on this would much be appreciated. Thanks,  Jeremy

When I drag a music into music timeline, my video and titles Jump to the right to the end of the audio. So frustrating. What am I doing wrong? 

Just got premiere elements 15. I've not edited video for 15 years [!] & the software has changed a bit!. I want to apply effects e.g. colour changes gradually to a clip using keyframes. Tutorials online don't help Guided edit doesn't cover it. Can somebody help here, or direct me to a site where I can check such things in words of one syllable? [& Yes - I bought Elements for Dummies but it's out of date so doesn't show the GUI of Premiere 15]Thanks in hope

Hello, I'm trying to utilize premier elements 2020 to create a 3-4 video from gopro footage of a trip we recently took.  Below is the properties of the video clip.  Will previous versions/clips/etc, I'd load them into the project render, cut out/edit a part, render and review.  I'm not able to render the video in the project and it's beyond frustrating because the video gets all choppy when playing it back.  I'm used to seeing an orange/yellow bar after you drop in a video into the timeline, that doesn't even show up.  It's so weird.   Any thoughts?     

When opening Premier Elements 2020 för video work it starts allrigh when the compter is freshly opened.After finishin a projket and closing Prem El 2020 it will start the second time. It starts loading up all program sequenses and it hangs on uploading "Player Media Core Pgm". And it stays hanged. I need to close down the computer with Power Off to come lose.The Computer is a HP Desktop with updated Win 10.RegardaLars Johansson

Hi community!I use the german version of Premiere Elements Windows 10 Pro, so maybe some things will not be trranslated exactly.I have this problem with the settings for the location of preview files (video and audio preview):- The default setting for this preferences is "Same as project"- I change the settings to a directory on another disk, assume e.g. "D:\Premiere_Preview"- I create a new project, make all project settings, save the project- I check the preferences and they point still to "D:\Premiere_Preview"- I import media, put it into the timeline and do some "Render"- The preview files are correctly stored below the "D:\Premiere_Preview" directory within a new directory with the name of the project (ProjectName.PRV)- I save the project- I exit Premiere Elements- I check the "D:\Premiere_Preview" directory and the rendered files are still there- I restart Premiere Elements and load the project- The render areas on the timeline now have changed their color from green to orange (s

I am experiencing trouble when I try to alter audio level in my project. If I alter the level then try it out with "Play" the program freezes then shuts down. I can only make the change if I save the project immediately after making a change but then the effect is not evident in the video clip. I have checked for drivers for sound and video cards but all seem up to date. I tried to uninstall then reinstall Prem,eir Elelemnts which did not cure the issue. The I disabled the video card but none of these seem to make any difference. I am using Premier Elements 15 and Photoshop Elements 2020. Please help.

New user here... I've searched and i can't find why this is happening. I'm trying to make highlights of my kids during games from over 6 years ago...a lot of dead space.  Here's what I'm doing exactly... 1) drop the first video into video 1.  2) drop the second video into video 23) watch video 2 until i find a part i want to keep.4) pause video 2 and click the scissors icon (to trim).5) almost every time... The video is not where i wanted it to be (majorly off). So i try this4a) pause the video 2.  Push play again to see if it stopped in the right area... It didn't. Then i tried4b) pause the video5b) drag the red grabber thingee to a little left of where i paused it.  Adjust accordingly6b) play, pause, trim. (Still not perfect). I attempt this last method multiple times before it finally works.  Takes about 4 times to get the stress i want. This is getting highly annoying.  The computer I'm working on is about 2 months ol

+I have an IMac with both IMovie and Premiere 2019 installed.I can not get my DV cam to work in Premiere (can not find it)When running IMovie it will find it.I want to use premiere as it is more like film editingAny solutions? Peter
