Questions

I am creating a scrolling credits text at the end of my video, using "Classic Titles - General - Default Roll." I have over 20 names to put in, but when I get to the bottom of the display screen with about 10 names or so entered, the text box will not scroll upward so I can see to enter a name in the next blank slot. When I play it back, it advances to show more slots available, but when I click on it on the timeline to edit, it takes me back to the screen with only 10 names, and apparently no way to enter more. The first time I tried, I hit "tab" to advance to the next slot, and the next time, I pressed "enter" (return). No go either way. I found I could hit return and type a name in, but I had to do so blind (the cursor having advanced to a point out of sight below the bottom of the screen), not sure if it would be in the right place (it wasn't). Also, I could not remove the unused "Add text here" slots at the bottom. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Adobe sure doesn't! And

When I try to launch the video editor, I get the busy dialog for a couple of seconds and nothingI found the information to edit the debug database text file which says to change the value from false to true, but the line in the txt file (ds force cpu only) isn't even there. 

So I have been busy reformatting my laptop this weekend. Unfortunately I didn't initially image the system, so I'm having to start from scratch. Everything was going fine installing my photography plan with Lightroom and Photoshop and all my other apps, including the catalogs and presets. Then I installed Premiere, which installs fine, as does the Organiser that comes with it. But after hitting the video editor button in at the first launching stage, Premiere appers to be loading for several seconds and then just crashes.Now I have tried the fixes that Adobe gives, making sure the Adobe folder in My Documents is set to full control. I had already installed the Microsoft package they recommended and each to no avail. I finally removed all the Adobe software on my machine, carefully removing everything as directed with CCleaner. Rebooted the machine and installed Premiere Elements 14 again. It still does not launch. I rechecked the other procedures in case anything had changed and they w

The Help PDF says to access Audio Tools in Quick View by clicking the Tools icon. However, doing so displays only video tools.  Is there a way to create a narration in Quick View?  Has Adobe dropped Audio Tools from the Quick View? --Jeff

Apparently Adobe customer assist is not available for now. Hope everyone there is well and they are just busy with so many people at home. Having much difficulty with loading  Adobe Premiere Elements and noted I'm not the only one. Hopefully someone at Help Center available in the next few weeks as this is prepaid. 

Hi, I am new to video editing and I did something in the Expert View where my vidoes are playing fast. I don't know what I did and I have looked for hours trying to find help or what it is called. I can start new projects and new videos and they all have the same problem. Any help would be appreciated!! Thamks!!

Hello, so I was resuming to edit a video with all clips which have audio, but no sound is coming from my headphones. Other sounds on my computer work, just not in the editor. How can I fix this?

I've been recording some Minecraft footage using OBS. When I play it in the regular Photos app of Windows, it plays completely normally. But when I import the video into Premiere Elements, the audio is out of sync from the video (by about 1 second). I've searched for it, and someone else reported with the exact same problem here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/audio-out-of-sync-after-importing/m-p/4531895?page=1#M16057 And the solution was using an app called Handbrake to change the framerate from Variable framerate to Constant framerate. Here's the thing:It fixes the problem. But if you have a slow computer like me, the app takes time to do the change on your video, especially if you have a longer video. So I was wondering if you guys (the people who work at Adobe) could fix this problem, so that we don't have to keep using this external program in the first place.Of course, I don't know if you guys can fix this.. I don't really know too much about

Are there are keyboard shortcuts for positioning Work Area Bars?

I have the Sony Digital 8 camcorder, trying to capture video in Adobe Premier Elements.  Looking for step by step instructions, since I have about 30 tapes to back up.  Thanks for any link to the right spot.  It doesnt appear there's alot of support for Sony Digital 8, i'm just glad it works.  When I go to Elements> Photo editor> add media I get error message saying no supported formats found. I was able to capture some video in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, but it was very tricky, I was hoping Elements would be easier from the You Tube videos, but it's not working yet. 

I made a video in the trial version of adobe premiere elements 2020. This starts with a title with movement. Now I bought adobe and transferred the movie to the new version. However, the black bar of the trial version remains in the title, the bar disappears further in the video. Does anyone know how to get that black bar out?

I'm trying to fix my video audio track. I did an export/audacity edit/import once to bump the video's volume (it was noisy/unclear bumping volume in PE, needed a noise reduction), imported & replaced audio, edited my clips so now I have a totally different track without original timestamps (which I'd love to find), exported the new WAV, and there are artifacts in it that aren't in PE. I'm having trouble cleanly bumping volume of words/phrases in PE. If I only bump certain words/phrases in Audacity because of the artifacts, it will be hard to sync to the timeline. What's an editor to do? Using Win10 64 bit PE 2020. TIA.

I have read all the posts but am obviously missing something as I have somehow managed to do this before. I have a Sony AVCHD camera and have imported some files but there is no audio. When I play them with VLC it is there! i'm running a mac with High Sierra.

Hi, After creating a video collage in premiere elements 2020, is there an option available to transer it to the timeline in Expert mode or is the only way to include it in a movie: export to mp4 file format and drag it to the premiere elements 'expert' mode project ...I noticed it is not possible to drag a vc file to the expert mode time line.Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello Experts!I am experiencing several issues on my new Premier Elements installation. It works fine until I try to view in the preview screen and then I get either a red screen, a black screen, a grey screen or the whole thing just freezes.Any help would be appreciatedCheersRichard 

I have about 100 clips in a timeline. I want to add an audio effect (like highpass filter) to them all.  If I select all the clips and try to load in an audio effect , it wont let me because I have multiple clips selected.  How do I add an audio effect to all these clips?I thought maybe if I can merge them all into one giant clip, then it would let me do it.  But I can figure out how to merge them all into one clip. 

Is there a way to create a normal slideshow - no theme, single slide at a time (no collage, no clouds, no fancy transition).  I can't find a way to set "no theme".  Do I need different software? Also, I can't seem to find the slideshow after it has been saved. 

Hello, I just bought Adobe Premiere Elements and am making a first edit thats a gaming montage. I launched the program to edit my montage some more and I found that a decent 1/3rd of it is giving a screen "Media Offline" in multiple languages. I did move some files and after finding you cant do that i moved them back, but the error still persists. Please help as this is very frustrating and I really need it to work.

Hi,I have made a lot of slideshows and sreenrecordings in PowerPoint. The results are MP4 files with 10 FSP. The quality of the screenrecordings are very good.I would like to work with these files i Premiere Elements, but I have a very simple problem. When I export my video with frame rate 29,97 i get a video with a lot of flickering. Part of the video is fine, but sometimes not. If i change frame rate to 10.00 like my source files, i get a video with no flickering, but very poor quality.Can anybody help me?

I am currently in the process of making a documentary. However, the only professional or subtle transitions in Premiere Elements are dissolving effects. I want to vary my transitions between photos, but I want transitions that aren't so extravagant, but rather smoother and subtle. Does anyone know how to do this?

I want to show a frame in Adobe Premiere 2019. I can't find how to set the line width,. the frame type and the color for a rectangle (that shouldn't have a fill itself).Is it possible to set an arrow as shape?Where can I find that? 

I am using Premiere Elements 11, and when I drag a video in, the video's audio plays, but the video is a single green screen. I tried rendering it, but it asked for render activation. I went to the page it mentioned, only to get a 404 error. Where can I activate rendering now?

I have bought Premiere Elements 2019 on March 2019, at Adobe platform.I recently upgraded my Mac to Catalina (MAc OS 10.15.3) and Premiere doesn't open. I must buy the new 2020 version? Really?! Regards

I have Premier Elements 13 and just installed an old fire wire card to download some old films from my first camcorder from 17 years ago a Panasonic NV-DS11.  They are miniDV tapes.In Device Manager I have my 1394 OHCI compliant host controller set to legacy and updated drivers and I can see this camcorder named under Imaging Devices with drivers updated............But when I try to use Adobe Premier to download videos from the camcorder via fire wire connection I cannot get Adobe Premier to see the camera.Also the camera is seen in 'Device Manage' but I can not see it listed in 'My Computer'.I am on Windows7 64bit.Camera switched on and plays back perfectly in camera screen.Can somebody shed some light on this please.

I have no idea what happened but when I moved my timeine bar suddenly my entire timeline went gray.  as I move it around sometimes the timeline is re populated and some times it looks like it stutters with lines everywhere? Does any body have any idea what is going on please?
