Questions

After working on a movie file I save in the default .prel format.   Often when I try to reload it to continue work none of the files in .prel are listed because they are not supported.  If I selected them out of the Explorer file some will load and some will not.

It previously worked, but I havent used it in over a year. 

Unless the image is full landscape it is not possible for me to get the whole portrait image in the Pan and Zoom Frame.  Help?

I'm having multiple problems with Premiere 2020. One of the serious one that makes it unusable is that it is importing video clips with shorter file duration. For example, I have a .MOV file shot with iPhone 11 (1080p@60fps, HEVC) that has a duration of 29s 787ms - media info down below. However, when importing this clip to Premiere Elements 2020, the clip is imported with the duration of 3s57ms (screenshot below). I tried everything, nothing works. It is a serious Premiere 2020 bug. I imported the same clip in Filmora 9 and it works flawlessly. Any advice about how to solve this issue is much appreciated (the version I'm using is Premiere Elements 2020 Version 18.0 (20200130.daily.2070236). Thanks.   General Complete name : F:\Video Editing\Alemanha\Originais\20200125\20200125_181940_1080p60.MOV Format : MPEG-4 Format profile : QuickTime Codec ID

I have two questions as a relative beginner with PE 2020:1) Thus far, my still images are stored on my desktop by default and I have to move them later. How do I change the default storage folder?2) If I use the image in a movie before I move it to its permanent folder, it appears I lose the image in the movie. Is that so, and does that mean I never can change the location of image storage without losing the still in my movie?

I downloaded the free trial version of Premiere Elements 2020.  I liked it and so I decided to purchase.  When asked if I would like to purchase, I put in the serial number of the edition I purchased.  But when I upload photos to a project, they are branded:  "Made using free trial."  I uninstalled the free version and installed the version that was emailed to me, with my serial number.  But I am still getting that branding on all my photos.  

When you start PE a new Start menu shows. In the older version of PE 2018 you were able to shut down the "Welcome menu" in the organizer. In PE 2020 I cannot find a option for this.Anyone got a solution?

I am looking to paste Hindi language text in video in premier elements 2020 that I just bought. Help!

Estoy intentando importar un vídeo a la línea de tiempo y simplemente no puedo mover el vídeo, ni Audio ni video. Ya me aseguré que los comandos V1 y V2 estén activos. Que es lo que está fallando? 

2020.1 does not write to DVD's directly but still creates and ISO file. Tech support solution is to burn the ISO file with another burner software. Error message:  DVD Drive not present

When I have a clip highlighted in PE2020, it won't copy until I reclick it. The clipboard seems to purge any time I use "go to prev/next edit" to move the playhead. Adobe, this is very annoying!

I have read countless articles, watched countless videos, spent 2 hours on the phone with Adobe staff who could not figure out the problem even after screen sharing. 1) The video is taking way longer than it should to export. It's a 4 minute video. No effects. The export time is over 1 hr. 2) The main problem: The exported video does not match the preview/ timeline video. The exported mp4 is playing deleted files and is also not playing files it should be. The preview and timeline are perfect though. I've edited countless videos. Never had this problem before. Details: 8 G Ram. Sourcing from an external SSD. However, midway thru the project I switched the save location to the external SSD after discovering that this would fix my slow playback issues (which it did). Doubt that could cause the issue but worth mentioning. I have tried opening a new project and opening the file again. Messing with settings. Nothing works.  Any solution? 

My Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 works very well except for one problem and that is that it will not load GoPro video at the highest FPS rate.  I can add 1080 at speeds up to 120 fps and 4K at speeds up to 30 fps but when I try to add 1080 shot at 240 fps or 4K shot at 60 fps it will not add it and says something about not having the right codec.  My computer is very capable of handling it as it has an AMD Ryzen 7, 2700X, 8Core 3.7GHZ, 32 GB RAM, a XFX Radeon RX 570 w/ 8 GB Ram.  Operating Windows 10 home 64bit.  I've also downloaded and installed the HEVC Codec per the adobe instructions for people having problems with the Premeiere Elements 2020.  I can view the files with VLC, but not slow them down for a slow motion effect, so the files are there and accessible.  I would really appreciate some assistance with this.  Incidentally, I recently built my computer and brought the software over on the SSD in my old computer, but all other hardware is bran

I am new to Elements.I wish to import both analog Hi-8 and mini DV and DVCAM into Elements.What formats may I specify for the imported digital files if importing from Hi-8?I have not yet purchased or rented an analog to DV converter. Do you have recommendations for one or more such a good quality but affordable converter?And what will be the default format for the imported mini DV and DVCAM?Can I also specify in Elements that the DV be imported in a format other than Quicktime and if so which formats?Thanks for any help you can offer. Sleigh64

Hey thereThe menutext in Premiere Elements (Top and bottom) looks ridiculously small on my screen.  It's not a general Win 10 screen resolution size issue, because everything else (browser windows,  Word, Excell etc) looks just fine.  BTW: This was not an issue on my old computer (Win 7)Any wizards present who can fix this?

The manual tells me that when I open the Export & Share tab I should then be able to choose under the DISC menu what I want to export it to using an advanced tab.  This does not happen and all I have is a set of menus ranging from birthdays to holidays etc.  Is there a way round this please?Peter 

Just installed Pre 2020 and there's no sound. The speakers work; the same prel plays back in PRE 2014. Audio settings say my speaker is "not working." Any ideas please?Also, can I reach a support specialist? I'm stuck in the endless loop...to you.

How do you find the in/out timecodes of an edited clip in the original footage please (if I have to redo edits in another editor)? Thanks.

Recently, I was rendering/exporting a 3 hour video. The software said the exported file would be 19GB, and I had 47GB left on my drive. Turns out, that to create enough files, there needs to be more space to create such a big file. So I have a feature request. When you start to export a video, it should calculate the amount of space left on your storage and should be able to tell you beforehand whether or not the video will render. It's a small thing, but it can be extremely frustrating to wait 6 hours for a video to render, then be super excited to watch it, then see it non-existent. I understand it's about user error to see that there's not enough storage, but sometimes we don't always check how much storage we have, or we think we will have enough space, when in reality, we don't (like my case). Simple feature for an annoying problem.

In 2000-2005 I used to edit home videos. I took a course in college for basic functions and I was able to do everything I needed to. Its now 2020 and I am just getting back into the swing of things. I'm looking to record some gaming clips and make them into a short video. Is there a tutorial or guide that any of you recommend for a returning user? I see a lot out there but I don't know if there's one thats much better than another. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
